First draft of my season - Rate my team - 10th pick

Recommended Posts

12 teams - QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR/TE Flex, WR/RB/TE Flex, TE, DST, No kickers - only 0.33 per reception

Due to the need for three receivers, I went RB-WR instead of RB-RB as I will likely do in my more traditional draft next week.

I know he's been scary in terms of the news on him all offseason, but Foster falling to 10 is just crazy to me. I had to take him there IMO. Here's the final result:

QB - Robert Griffin III

RB - Arian Foster

RB - Lamar Miller

RB/WR/TE - Darren Sproles

WR - Dez Bryant

WR - Cecil Shorts

WR/TE - Stevie Johnson

TE - Martellus Bennett

DST - Tampa Bay

QB - Jay Cutler

RB - Shane Vereen

RB - Christine Michael

WR - Justin Blackmon

WR - Percy Harvin (will move to IR for a healthy WR)

TE - Zach Sudfeld

Vereen was a risky pick in that I passed on the chance to bolster my lineup more with Jordy instead of having the receiving corps I ended up with, but I think my RB depth will be huge in this league come bye week time. My lack of receiver depth will be an issue I need to address all season. Anyway, thoughts? I'd be happy to share my thoughts on your team.

Thanks for mine:

Foster at 10 is a great value and its possible that Dez is the best receiver in the league not named Calvin Johson here. One place I'm worried is at TE,,,, There are three potential starting spots for TE and I'm not sure Sudfeld will have much value after week 6. I could be totally off base there.

Sproles will be a killer and I expect Vereen to used in unique ways in the passing game as well.

Over all I'd say this was a great draft in a 12 team league.

Thanks man - TE annoyed me - the run on sleepers happened about four rounds earlier than I was accustomed to from probably 20 mocks I did. Once it was down to the Rudolph/Bennett stage, I just let them sit there until late and grabbed Bennett and Sudfeld back to back. If I get a few weeks out of Sudfeld to buy me time to find a real TE, I'll be happy.

I like this team a lot. foster and dez at the top. hopefully lamar will actually be the starter down there and they won't keep trying to throw daniel thomas into the mix. sproles is a great flex. My concern is the same as yours, the wide receiving corps. after dez, you've got shorts who is supplied by gabbert who is embarassing. depending on that qb situation in buffalo, idk how valuable steve johnson will be. he's gonna be a hit or miss too. I do like sudfield for the whole year though. He's gonna drop off once gronk comes back but the patriots love that two TE set and sudfield seems to be the hernandez replacement.

good luck, thanks for mine.
