Lived in Texas for 30 years but some times I still have to make a pot of Yankee chili with beans. I make it a thinner broth. With Texas chili I like using brisket, a bit of masa for thickening and any Texas or Tex-Mex cooking has to include cumin.

I just got my first few sets of Mavs tickets last night. I do a 3-way split of a pair of tix. Can't wait for it all to start. Looking forward to seeing what Anthony Johnson and Ager can bring to the table. I'm optimistic about the Mavs, but if Amare can be productive, I think the Suns may run up the best record.

I was there and got two vouchers. Cuban didn't put out any money, American Airlines gave the tickets to promote their new service from Love Field. You have 10 days to book your trip and must take it by November 30th. You fly round trip from anywhere AA flies to from Love Field, I think that is limited to Austin, San Antonio, KC, and St. Louis. I think I'll be taking the short flight to Austin to hit 6th street.

You'll only have problems with pork if you buy uninspected meat. Only garbage fed swine will give you the trichinosis. another rule of thumb for steak doneness is push on you chin...feels like a rare steak, push on your nose.... feels like a medium steak, push on your forehead...feels like a well done steak.
