No way. Hang on to Rodgers. Plus you've got plenty of RB depth already.
-
I'd drop Edwards. I don't see a scenario where you'd start him unless something really bad went down.
-
Graham has proven he'solid- maybe not sexy- but solid starter. And with LJ being such a crybaby lately, I don't like the karma of starting him at all.
-
T. Jones straight up, or T. Jones with DeSean? We are all UVA grads, so there is a certain psychological appeal to Jones.Oh, and my idea behind including DeSean was just that he needs some more WR help while Colston is out. I actually think Welker would be a better fit for that deal, but Welker's got a bye in week 4, which makes the idea of spelling the injured Colston seem a little disingenuous.
You have to separate yourself from that We Tigers . I'm a Penn State grad, but I'm not touching Engram, LJ or Kerry Collins to name a few stinkers. I'll just say that I like Graham more than T.Jones. I'm in NJ and watch alot of Jets. They're the same old Jets. Almost lost to Miami in week 1. Only a matter of time before Leon Washington toting the ball.

How many WRs and many RBs do you start? If it's something near the norm, I think you take this deal. You have stellar depth at RB *and* you're getting Lewis back. Smith replacing Driver is a huge boost for your WRs, as you get a first-option in place of all the #2s you have now, and Jamal Lewis for McFadden really mitigates any loss you might have. Before the trade, you have 2 RBs you can start with confidence, one hot rookie with a lot of potential, and an injured but strong RB.
After the trade, you have 2 RBs you can start with confidence, one dependable veteran, and an injured but strong RB. And a top-level receiver, possibly top 10 when the year's done. I like it a lot.
We start 2 RB's and 2 WR's. Thanks for the reply.

While a great WR would be a better fit, this is still a great opportunity to build some depth. S.Jax can only go up and he'll get half the Ram's offense- whatever that may be. I am high on Graham, but giving up Desean isn't really that much more. Have you tried to peddle T.Jones? He's the first guy I'd try to dangle. If not, make the offer. He could be desperate enough to go for it.

Warner for the whole year, but Kitna this weekend. If you don't start him in SF, when would you?

Go State! Stick with Mr. Gould. He should be money as long as the Bears are competitive.

With few exceptions, I lean towards who's getting the best player. In this case, that's Bush. Stick with him.
Here's mine.

In a PPR league, the trade is
Steve Smith and Jamal Lewis
for
McFadden and Driver
Other players at RB and WR:
RB: Lynch, Graham, Grant, Perry
WR: Roy Williams, Harrison
To me the idea of Steve Smith is almost always better than Steve Smith, but still it's Steve Smith!
A starting WR tandem of Smith and Roy would be nice and I'd still have Lynch and Graham-with Grant hopefully getting healthy one day. The big fear is that I'm giving away the next great back with Fargas out. But then again, McFadden's stock may never be higher.
Please chime in and I will respond to yours.

You could probably get Ahman Green and Steve Slaton.
-
With both playing at home, I don't think your QB problem is too bad. I'm high on Carolina this year. I would go with Delhomme. Graham and Bush at RB.
-
I have DeAngelo Williams and Ray Rice. The other team has McGahee and Stewart. He just offered me Stewart for Rice straight up. Perfect trade opportunity right? We each backup our backfields, plus I get the "better" rookie back. But for the following reasons, I don't think I should accept the trade.
-I have no RB depth- I need all the potential starters I can get.
-McGahee might be washed up.
-Williams shouldn't lose this job unless he's injured.
-Maybe most importantly, he needs Rice alot more than I need Stewart right now. So why help him?
I might be overthinking this one- hence the post.
Appreciate your insight.

I kind of like the approach that the guru is taking this year. Instead of just giving the most points to the consensus top players each week, they're going out on a limb and predicting stats by player, by week. While you may not agree with the predicitions, I think the approach is fresh.
-
I think you have to start Grant and hope he's ok and gets the reps.
-
Nothing wrong with this draft. Just looks like you drafted with 11 other guys who know what they're doing. You're also suffering from Mossitis- a condition that impacts the rest of your team when you draft the top WR. I like Delhomme. Lynch and Turner are both pretty solid. I'm not as high on HOlmes as most. I think you may find that you start Driver more than Holmes eventually- not this week. Go with Holmes this week and Young. The fins could get behind early taking Ricky out of the game.
-
I like Mendenhall here. If Pgh gets a lead in the 2nd half, he should get a few touches.
-
D.Williams @ SD and C.Perry @ Baltimore.
PPR league. Gotta start one of these guys. Would typically lean towards Williams. Althought I think the Panthers could be awfully good this year, I'm not crazy about them until Smith returns.
Perry has some nice pass catching skills for my PPR league, which I think should keep him in the game even if they fall behind. But then again it's Cinncy on the road.
-
Obviously this is very good value. Grant has been going late 1st and early 2nd in all my drafts. I haven't seen a mock yet that let's him out of the 2nd. Just make sure you cuff Jackson late.
-
Just saw him the other day while I was shopping. He was wearing an orange tool belt and told me I could find drill bits in aisle 4.
-
Seems about right. He's been going somewhere between 5-8 in my drafts. I think he'll perform like a top 10 back this year (despite the other issues), but for the folks who look at the weekly performances seeing no more than 72 yards rushing over each of the last 8 weeks of the season has to be at least a little disconcerting. If you feel you got a value pick here- be happy.
-
I'd recommend 5. 2 wildcards play in week 14. 3 division winners get byes (real reward). You're done before week 17. 4 teams feels light and 6 teams (50% of the league) feels like hockey. We've found this to be a happy medium.
Which QB- Delhomme or Kitna? (WR's Stv.Smith and Roy)
in A Little Help!
Posted
Either QB will have a WR connection.
Delhomme with Steve Smith
or
Kitna with Roy Williams
If you can't start Kitna against SF when can you start him?
But I'm expecting big things from Steve Smith (at least for a week) coming off a suspension.
