  1. How would you rank the order of these waiver running backs and how much to allocate from your FAAB budget?

    Andre Brown (25%)

    - Might start on thurs + nice handcuff for bradshaw's future ailments

    Daryl Richardson (20%)

    - No word on Steven Jackson's groin issues but kid looked explosive. Concern is that he's under 200 lbs. No goal line for him?

    Jackie Battle (11%)

    - Could emerge as #2 in sd behind mathews. Could receive goal line carries

    Bilal Powell (7%)

    - Shonn looked concussed and he looks like a nice handcuff for a run heavy team

    Shaun Draughn (5%)

    - Jamaal's knee issues and he looks like he could be a sneaky pick up

    Joique Bell (5%)

    - Det backfield looks like its going to be crowded but this kid ran with purpose against the best defense in the league. worth a look.

    Tashard Choice (3%)

    - Just by injury he became #2 rb behind spiller who's only 200 lbs and runs like dmac. Who's to say spiller doesnt get hurt like dmac?

    Mike Goodson (1%)

    - speaking of dmac.. mike goodson is a clear handcuff and showed nice burst in his 65 yard touchdown.

    Chris Ogbonnaya (1%)

    - had this kid last year. i think he had 1 good week. id prob stay away from oogieboogie but thought id mention he had 80 yards receiving last week.

    Lamar Miller (1%)

    - who is this kid? had 65 yards + 1td. Was this during garbage time?

  2. As you can see in the clip below, chris henry does not have break away speed. At the combine he ran 4.52 in the 40-yard dash.

What i remember Chris Henry to be when he first came in the league was a redzone TD vulture...

    2005 - 6TDs

    2006 - 9TDs

He's has never been a possession receiver in his career so him averaging 1-3 catches per game doesn't concern me as long as he's catching touchdowns as he did in 05 and 06 seasons.

I'm thinking of taking a flyer on him but he's only owned in 12% of yahoo leagues. Anyone else thinking of taking him for a roster spot?

  3. Can you pick up and start players on sunday morning before the games start? or is Sat the cutoff?

I'm trying to wait til the last possible moment to drop orton so that no one can play him this week and into his bye week next week.

  4. I think on an offense that has been grossly underperforming, perry has been doing a good job. I am hoping for Cinci's passing game to start clicking and start opening up the running lanes for perry to break 100 yards.

  5. I think if Westbrook is out for week 4, Buckhalter is a great play. Eagles have always been a good team catching defenses off guard with Screens. SO, even if Buckhalter only runs for 50 yards on 10-15 carries, I can see at least 30 yards receiving + a touchdown if we are lucky. Buckhalter is very familiar with the Reed's game plan so his transition to being a spot starter should be seemless. I watched the game last sunday and Buckhalter looked pretty fast, even against the strong steeler's defense.

  6. I have all 4 running backs on my team and I just dropped Chester Taylor. I believe he is now a true back up with only maybe 5-10 touches per game. Barring an injury to ADP, chester taylor has no value.

Mendenhall - I am really high on him. Although he really hasn't shown much in the first two games. He still got 10 carries the first game. The only reason he didn't receive any carries in the 2nd game is because of ball security issues. The coaches at pittsburg have always been a little old school and will make mendenhall earn his carries.

I think in the latter part of the season, you will see this kid start to add value. I would hold on to this kid for a little longer.

  7. I am in the same situation. I am about to use my #5 WW position to drop rice to pick up Slaton.

I am leaning on slaton because...

    1. Houston has a more balance attack which opens up running lanes.

    2. Slaton plays behind Ahman Green who is older and just as injury prone if not more than McGahee.

    3. I'm just not sold on rice who only ran for 60 some yards on 22 carries against a poor run defense of cinci.

  8. Do you guys believe Rice has more value than Steve Slaton? I'm torn because Slaton just hit the waiver wire.

  9. Starting RBs:

    1. Darren McFadden

    2. Matt Forte

    3. Kevin Smith

    4. Steve Slaton

    5. Ray Rice

Backup RB with Goal line Carries

    6. Jonathan Stewart

    7. Tim Hightower

    8. Rashard Mendenhall

    Change of Speed back

    9. Chris Johnson

    10. Felix Jones

McFadden, Forte, Smith, Stewart, Johnson have all proven to be great fantasy options already this season. Please chime in and make a case for the others.

Steve Slaton - He has been "slated" in as the starting RB for week 2 but never played. Does he hold on to the starting RB job for the rest of the year with Ahman Green coming back?

Ray Rice - (same as Slaton) Does he hold on to the starting roll when McGahee is starting to get healthy?

Tim Hightower - So far he has gotten some goal line carries and a crucial 4th down. Is that it for him all season or does he cut into James' carries?

Rashard Mendenhall/Felix Jones - Both ranked very high on the preseason fantasy draft but really have not been given ample carries playing behind top fantasy running backs. What are their values?
