Yeah about that. The Live Game Stats on nfl.com seem to be giving them all more credit than what I am seeing on the Full Play-By-Play. Halfway through the 3rd quarter it has 5 solo tackles and no assists for Thomas, and 2 solos and an assist for both Seau and Ellis. 5 down, 7 to go.

Once again I need my defense to overcome a 12 point deficit on Monday Night. Frankly I'm not sure how I am this close this week. Thomas averages 10.6 and Ellis 5.5, Seau averages 6.8 So on average they outscore Seau by 9.3 Seau is questionable with a groin injury so maybe that will give me the added boost needed to down Bacardi

In most leagues I will be in the top half of transactions but in this one I have a lot more than usual due to all the injuries on my team. The injuries to Todd Heap (drafted early) and Jimmy Kleinsasser (drafted late) alone have resulted in probably 1 transaction per week which is 7-8 by now. Granted if I were a better owner I would have picked up a good TE early on and have started him since then but I keep getting tricked into thinking Heap will be back soon. My 0-3 start caused me to do a bunch of extra overhaul as well.

If a guy was credited with 1.5 sacks and they take away one sack, that leaves him with HALF a sack, so in reality he WOULD have .5 sacks jackass OK, so they take away his 1 sack right? That's why Polley shows up with 1 instead of 0.5 If you go to Yahoo and search for Polley you will see that his season total is 2.5 sacks. You won't find a game log for a single player that shows a half sack for anyone. Look at John Abraham. 7.5 sacks on the season but Yahoo's game logs show him with 1, 2, 3, 1, 1 for a total of 8. So you admit that Polley got credit for 1/2 sack in your score but his nfl.com stats have him with 0 sacks. So basically what I am reading here is that one of your guys has half a sack more than he should and one of them has half a sack less than he should, but you want the win.

Flash back to three weeks ago... New Shark Jumper Rich Gannon, the team's third starting QB in as many games, runs up the middle and has his career ended by a helmet-to-helmet hit by Derrick Brooks, helping the Jumpers to lose yet another game to fall to 0-3. Kerry Collins takes over as QB of the Sharks. Fast forward to this week... the Shark Jumpers have won 3 straight under Collins' guidance. Led of course not by Collins, but by the defense, who damned-near scored 100 points this week by themselves. Let's face it, the Shark opponents have laid an egg the last few weeks. But that doesn't mean MRM won't do the same. Last year the Russian Meanies beat me twice. But this year's squad is but a shell of last year's Machine. Also I promised to kick your ass, and every team I have faced, that I only get one shot at in the regular season, I have beaten. At this point I almost wouldn't mind losing a game because it would guarantee a playoff rematch in which case I would kick ass.
