DOGE found almost nothing in the way of "fraud." This has been widely reported and is a fact, but you prefer hyperbole and misinformation over facts because that makes you feel better. Lather, rinse, repeat.
  2. Because Deep State, BLM and Antifa conspired to convince Trump that the road to deploying the National Guard led through Nancy Pelosi, and they used an instigator to disguise herself as Nancy Pelosi so she could decline Trump's offer to deploy the National Guard. IT WAS A CONSPIRACY!

Mocking kids and an elderly woman suffering from a disease for which Trump cut research money. Not surprising coming from a poo-flinging ape like you.

Trump-related budget cuts have negatively impacted several family members for reasons I won't go into, so 2024 was way better than this year with the terrible direction this country has taken.
  6. So Trump obviously had the authority to surround the Capitol with the National Guard to keep people out. Why does he keep blaming Pelosi?

We have a possum that likes to come up on our front porch, get into kitty-litter bags and pizz on the front-door mat. We call him Pee Pee the Possum. He was chest deep in a box one time, and I reached down and gave him a butt scritch, which he didn't like. The wife and I like to drink coffee on the porch in the morning, and earlier this week there was raccoon hair all over my lounge mattress. Some raccoon just decided to have himself a relaxing evening. Can't say I blame him. It's pretty peaceful out there.

Our last dog was a Great Pyrenees, and he was such an Eeyore. A new cat would be terrified of him at first but then quickly figured out he was no threat. He'd be on the couch with five cats all snuggled up, and he'd have this look of resignation on his face. I've got a great video of him lumbering through the living room with a kitten attached to his tail and going nuts. Focker shed like a cotton-candy machine, though. He made more of a mess than all the cats combined.

A back room has a doggie door leading to the back porch, and once the weather cools off, I plan to built a cattery so they can go in and out. There are a lot of coyotes in the woods, and my game cam caught a pic of a bobcat, so it's way too dangerous for cats to roam freely outside. The woods are kind of creepy, too. I only go back there in the winter, and even then it feels like I'm being watched. Lots of snakes and poison ivy out there in the warm months.

Ours our indoors only. Years ago, we had a cat that couldn't be kept inside. He'd dart out every chance he got. Finally, we just said focking it and let him go in and out. Sometimes I'd see him way back in the woods behind out house. One day he went out and never came back. I suspect a coyote or bobcat got him, but for all we know, he's lying on some girl's bed in a nearby neighborhood. As for giving them up, we've brought a lot of joy into people's lives, so it's rewarding. Some love their cats so much that they start Facebook pages for them.

Nah, it's a great direction for a Shefoam thread, particularly since I don't see any of his imbecilic comments because he's on ignore.

One of my favorites is a cat we call Uncle Lionel. This focker was the king tomcat of the neighborhood, beating the crap out of other cats siring countless litters. We caught some of the kittens and got them adopted. The mom was feral, so we trapped her, got her fixed and put her back. Then we trapped Lionel, and he was a berserker, built like Mike Tyson in his prime. I've never seen such a muscular cat. We took him to the vet to get fixed, and a tech said he was the meanest damned cat they'd ever seen. The plan was to get him fixed and put him back. But he transformed bigly after he got fixed. We brought him home, where all the foster kittens immediately took to him. He cuddled with them and gave them baths. Now he's a big, fat couch potato with a resting dopey look on his face. He's got FIV, the feline equivalent of HIV. They get that from deep puncture wounds during brawls, but they can live a long time and are not threat to other cats if they're docile.

Yeah, it's kind of bittersweet when we get them adopted out. We have a kitten that was living at a car-rental place, and she's such a well-rounded cat that will be hard to let go, but it's also rewarding for them to go into a home where they will be the center of attention rather than a member of the colony.

We've got a lot of fosters right now, with only about a half dozen of them adoptable. The unadoptable ones include semi-feral, super old, shy or unhealthy. For example, awhile back we got a call about an old female tortie cat living at a small-town gas station. The poor thing was sick, skin and bones and eating garbage. We got her fixed up, and she spends most of the day comfortably resting in a cubby hole. She's not mean at all, and I can give her scritches and even pick her up sometimes, but mainly she just quietly lives her life in a back bedroom. She uses the litter box, doesn't scratch up the furniture or make a bunch a noise, so she's no trouble at all.

Supreme Court weighing same-sex marriage case

The takeover of Los Angeles was so unnecessary that the bored troops suffered terrible morale as the wondered why they were there. It has been widely reported that D.C. crime is way down, so that means police are doing their jobs. D.C. does not rank among the top two dozens in this country when it comes to violent-crime rate. So ask yourself why Trump sent troops there.

Likewise, it shouldn't send in federal troops to do city police work that's handling the job just fine.
