I merely outlined myriad reasons why I find Trump so dislikeable. One does not need to like Trump to have conservative values, such as not being a womanizer, possible pedophile and pron-star fornicator while the wife is home with a bun in the oven. My political viewpoints most certainly lean right - small government, badass military, tough immigration policies, reducing the deficit, tax cuts, etc. Blindly believing whatever Trump says, thinking Putin is a swell guy, chug-a-lugging conspiracy theories and feverishly obsessing over trannies all day don't fall within my political paradigm, though. If that's the new conservatism, I want no part of it.

I'd say my place on the political spectrum is based on my positions on issues, not my dislike for a self-serving, vile egomaniac who creates chaos wherever he goes, who constantly seeks attention, who rewards his rich buddies while hurting poor people, who tosses science and research out the window, who fires people who present him with facts-based statistics he doesn't like, who got convicted of 34 felonies for an incident involving paying hush money to a pron star while his wife was home pregnant, who had seriously disturbing ties to Epstein, who insights his followers to attack the Capitol and who hasn't done many of the things he bragged he would do, like all those beautiful deals and ending the Ukraine war on Day 1. The dude has few, if any, redeeming qualities, but I'll give him credit for drastically slowing illegal immigration. But inflation increased in this year's second quarter, and the jobs report wasn't as rosy as expected. https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/inflation-cpi

I've neither trolled you nor called you any unflattering names, and yet you've taken it upon yourself to do some unprovoked policing of me, whom you've singled out among the cacophony of far harsher name-calling that so many others administer in almost every post. Whatevs, brother!

Not as bad as those calling posters "pedos" and "retards" ... Oh, and then trying to spell out the "n" word one letter at a time, not to mention all the homophobia, transphobia, racism, misogyny and blatant and disturbing anti-semitism. "MAGA cultist" is as commonly used as TDS and is frequently in the media, and I'll stick to harmless analogies and continue to eschew that other stuff. You've called me names, too, such as hypocrite. Pot meet kettle!

Watched the first two episodes last night. We'll keep watching. The dialogue sucks, though. Lots of triteness.

Do you believe these crime stats? https://mpdc.dc.gov/dailycrime

And ask yourself whether whatever Peefoam said here ...

I meant the thread singling out gutter. I corrected that. As for the name calling, I've backed way off of that and no longer use those terms that annoyed people. Do I like Trump? Nope. I never have, and he underscores all the reasons on a daily basis. I'm a moderate conservative who doesn't like where the Republican Party has headed. What's the point of this National Guard thing in D.C. when it doesn't rank among the nation's most dangerous cities? He's way overplaying this, and I've provided ample statistics to prove it. Can you accept that D.C. isn't nearly as dangerous as Trump is portraying it to be? If so, what do you see as the real reason he's doing this? Is it not hypocritical for him to praise and release from prison all those people who assaulted police Jan. 6 and then do the tough-guy talk regarding the consequences of messing with police there? MAGAs will excuse, deny and whatout this kind of thing, right? It's already happening in this thread.

Trump hit back hard by letting them all out of prison.

It's hypercatastrophizing for his self-serving show. Reminds me of a scene in "Thin Red Line," when the Americans are pounding a hill with artillery, and a soldier points out to a lieutenant colonel, played by Nick Nolte, that it "won't make a dent" in the Japanese position, to which he responds, "It bucks up the men." If Trump were serious about kicking crime in the ass, he'd send the National Guard into Memphis, the nation's most dangerous city. D.C. clocks in at 25th when it comes to total violent crime per population. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_cities_by_crime_rate

Huge difference between starting dumb threads such as the gutter one and the usual kidding around, trolling and ball busting that has been the norm her for a quarter century. Are you seriously defending the likes of Peefoam, Maxipad, Brahma, EternalShiny and RaidersHaters? When did you become such a grouch? I've never had any issues with you. Back in the day, it was more fun to troll liberals such as TorridJoe, but neither of us took it too seriously, and we remain real-life friends to this day, even to the point where he is a client, believe or not. Now this place is top heavy with MAGAs who take themselves way too seriously, to the point where can't laugh at themselved, start useless threads such as this and can't even have reasonable discussion in threads about television shows, travel, football, etc. You don't see me stinking up those threads with childish drivel.
-
It's childish as fock to spam up the board with singling-out threads such as this, all because some thin-skinned, triggered MAGA cultist is incapable of thoughtful, intelligent discussion.
-
But muh world's most dangerous city!
-
Yeah, it's just a bit attentionwhoring show as usual, just like his failparade, deporting people on gigantics aircraft and sending soldiers to Los Angeles, where they became boared as hell, suffered terrible morale and wondered what the hell they were doing there. And now the MAGA spin on D.C. crime is that because despite a sharp decline in violent crime, we need to send troops in there anywhere.
-
No doubt childish drivel from the peanut gallery.
-
Rent free.
-
Says the quivering, carpet-wetting kick dog who has to start a whole dumb thread because he can't hold his own intellectually in any discussion around here. You got him now!
-
Maxipad thinks sending in National Guard troops to a city that's not as dangerous as at least 25 other U.S. cities is a good idea. BUT MUH CRIME!
-
Our nation's capital is burning.
-
-
Well, it would make more sense to deploy National Guard troops to any one of the at least 25 U.S. cities that are more dangerous. But thick-headed cultist MAGAs will just go with whatever their lord and master has to say instead of weighing a single fact.

Defense Secretary Hegseth considers reversing Army ban on aggressive 'shark attack' training 🏆 LET'S GO!
Sandy Loam replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
Why would he repost a video of someone saying women shouldn't be allowed to vote? I guess all those he-man "shark attacks" caused brain damage. Poor whittle Maxipad. -
D.C. isn't even in the Top 25. https://realestate.usnews.com/places/rankings/most-dangerous-places

Trump deploying National Guard in D.C. despite drop in violent crime. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/aug/11/trump-washington-dc-crime Of course, he and MAGAs will find a way to deny the statistics. Ridiculous.

BrahmaBalls, Peefoam and their ilk always resort to threads such as then when they get triggered and have nothing intelligent to say, even though neither has ever had anything intelligent to say.
