My point exactly. My comparison to Hitler is the steps he took to quickly wipe out democracy in Germany and become a dictator, and I did raise the point about Orban and the similarities to how democracy died in Hungary. It's frightening to see MAGAs such as Voltaire express such anger and radicalness. What in the world did moderate conservatives, moderate liberals, liberals and borderline socialists ever do to him to make him so angry. Trump's actions and MAGA's rhetoric are extremely dangerous and a threat to democracy.

They keep trying to project what Trump and MAGA are trying to do in regard to a move toward authoritarianism and project that on Biden and Obama without supporting that with anything factual or substantive, or they'll point to some insignificant little thing and hypercatastrophize the hell out of it. As you said, I've noted in great detail the similarities between what Trump is doing and early 1930s Germany, Hungary today and the oligarchic state of this country in the late 1800s. What MAGA is calling authoritarianism on the left doesn't meet the definition of the term; it's just what those presidential administrations did to make them butt hurt. That's not authoritarianism, oligarchy or a dictatorship. Just look at the ungodly power and threats Trump is throwing around as he tries to harness more power for the executive branch. The monster C-17s they're using now, which have way more space than is needed to ship the illegals on board, cost $21,000 per hour or $252,000 for a 12-hour flight. They're rolling in C-130Es, which cost up to $71,000 per hour or up to $852,000 for a 12-hour flight. The only reason Trump is doing this is for show. So much for all that government efficiency.
