It all started with the last game of the year. NY played all-out against NE with nothing to gain..everything to lose. Cowboys assled around with Wash and got abused. And when they met Dallas, they may not have wanted it more but they sure as hell played harder. And the Cowboys' staff letting the players have a 3 day holiday (nevermind what they did with those days off) with the most important game of the year coming up..just wasn't wise ..maybe a day here or there..but not 3 consecutive days off. But it may have been Jerry's idea...for certain, Wade would never have done this without Jerry's approval.

I don't know why ANY of those millionares would play in that game. I wonder if they take out serious insurance policies beforehand? Looked to me like Carey the ref was all but mugging Beli, trying to tell him that there was at least something on the clock..but Beli completely ignored/dissed Carey. Does seem like there ought to be a rule change whereby if it's totally obvious that the game is over that the game is over. If the field had been completely covered by fans, would they have spent an hour clearing the field to run that one second?

I'll say this for the NFL network, they have the best graphics/animations of all the networks...they are terrific!! And they way they introduce the players with their pictures whizzing by is great...instead of MNF where they're introduced by a player. As for Gumbel, it shows how resilient the NFL is...if it can still draw an audience with dopes like Gumbel and Kornheiser.

Something's wrong with him. This year's new injury reporting requirement is being abused and teams are lying about their situations. The best example was NE before the first game of the year about Moss...pissing and moaning about whether he would even play...then he goes off.
