Wow, I had him slotted for my pick in the 2nd round (keeper draft)...but this limits that. I was iffy on him anyway. I guess this answers my question.

I read things about Best that make me really excited about the guy, and thinking about him for a #3RB option. But then I read things like this: and I think jeez, this guy wont do much. I really think this is just gonna be a wait and see situation. Kevin Smith has something. I'm just not sure what.

This is a year pre-mature, if it even happens at all, but what are your thoughts from a fantasy perspective? Obviously this would move the playoff weeks back. Maybe back so far the players are more tired/injured, and possibly when teams are even further away from making the playoffs, or have already clinched even sooner than normal. Or is this post useless and this is no issue?

Ya know, he was never known as the smartest player in College, this could really hurt his progress. He needs a lot of time not only studying, but walking through things. I see this almost like Crabtree last year, the time they miss will hurt them. I think Crabtree has a pretty good year this year, and I think Dez is going to be a year off as well.

That's a good price! I work at a sign shop so I thought maybe I could help out, but I couldn't do it for that. I make a board on foamcore, usually around 4' x 6' but we hand write the names in. It's too much work to type all the players names in and print them for just one draft, ya know?

I just dont see Dez alone hurting Miles. Witten + Williams + Dez + Felix + Barber + Choice + Ogletree + Crayton could hurt Austin. I think the Cowboys are going to be more set on getting to Witten in the end zone this year, they failed last year.

I know the basics; Kevin Smith rehabbing, didn't live up last year, etc. Anymore insight on him. I think he is going to fall in my draft, and I'm really considering him. Anyone have any more thoughts on Mr. Best?

Wait on a QB and make up the 3 or 4 points they will lack from the top guys with a stud D you can count on.

I can't convince you that TE's are a bad option in a PPR, but the secret is out on Miller, and lets not forget that Campbell has never been spectacular and he just downgraded in teams. I think if you are serious about a PPR TE, spend early to get Clark, he will get his. So many of the other TE's will end up with VERY similar numbers when the season is over.

I'm comparing TO with TO. Yeah, Cinci is better than Buffao, but TO ain't getting any younger, and there is a couple guys to compete with. Not to mention if Benson keeps his S together this year, they will be running the ball. I don't see even one 100 yard game from T.O. Owens.

I really think Gore is a better option. He hasn't had quite the workload that Jackson has, and he's got a better team (not to mention SOS). I feel like Gore is a better safe bet week in week out.

Remember last year when he signed with the Bills? Expect nothing more. If this does anything, I think it hurts Ochocinco from a FF perspective...

Anyone recommend and good apps for FF? I have the Yahoo one for my league and also just picked up Fantasy Demon which brings you the news feed from Fanball and Rotowire. I did see some mock draft ones that are kind of cool, you can whiz thru a mock draft pretty fast and try different strategies (just doesnt help me a ton since I'm in a keeper league). Any more suggestions?

Been commish in a keeper league for about 6 years now. We determine the draft order by regular season record - worst to best. We also do a serpentine draft. We keep 4 players, and I tend to feel like the snake draft is not the best way. The talent pool is very diluted and there is only usually a couple of really high talent players available. so you get the 1st or 2nd pick and don't get to pick again in forever, there isn't much left. I would reccomend a straight draft, but I'd be interested to hear other peoples opinions since i have not done that..

I think the supplimental pick is plenty fair, but it's hard to make a rule change like that on the fly. As long as people can change their mind now and still drop people, I think it's fair. Saying that I'm not big on the dropping all your players and getting to pick first... I'd say the best anyone should get is after the 1st round is complete.
