I picked Anderson up after week 1. I have Roethlessberger, Kolb and Stafford. I had no choice. Although, I did go with Anderson over Vick who was also available. With time to prepare for Vick, I don't think he'll make much of an impact. Anderson at least has weapons.

I have Kolb and Stafford...(plus I kept Big Ben), so I'm QB-less. I put Derek Anderson 1st on my WW. Based upon the weapons he has around him. I put Vick and Hasselbeck on there as well, but I'd prefer Anderson.

This year one of my teams is:
Fourth and Shart

def. like your receiver corps. A little "risky" type people, but i think they all have a big upside. I Think you walked away with a pretty good team!
-
Setting up my lineup. Standard Scoring, +PPR. Flex is RB, WR, TE.
Ronnie Brown
CJ Spiller
Hakeem Nicks
Jabar Gaffney
Just need 1

God I hate fanball! Switched to yahoo, no complaints!

I luffs me some Jermichael, but with my draft spot, I'd have to take him in Round 4, and I don't think i can bring myself to that... I'll just nab Zach Miller way later...
I'm feeling the same way... Overpay for Finley, or hope for a sleeper, like Miller. Hope others in my league aren't thinking the same way...
-
At the right spot, I'm all over Welker. The guy has shown to much, been too consistent and is a PPR monster. I would feel foolish passing on him. Same for Moss. I think Edleman is a great player, but if Welker is healthy, Welker plays. He has the experience and the trust.

You for sure do it. Your depth is good at WR and you gotta love the upside of matthews

In looking at my mock drafts I'm having trouble deciding when to get a TE, mostly. Is a TE more valuable than a 3rd RB? or 3rd WR? Or better than a sub-par #2 receiver?
Can we list the importance?
RB1
WR1
QB1
RB2
TE1
WR2
????
What's y'alls thoughts? Is Antonio Gates more valuable than Steve Smith (NYG) as a #2 WR?
-
Yeah, I am with you. I don't have any of their players on my list. I really want to like Lynch, but he's done nothing but let everyone down, so I think I'm ready to just forget about him...

I'd go Rice. Gore will get pretty much all the carries, but his ceiling is not near has high as Rice.

I like Schaub. I think Davis is a little overrated, altho for a 10th, it's a good value. Schaub should be steady week to week and Davis could dip and rise - causing you to pull your hair out.

Looks like you got some good upside at RB, I like your chances with those guys!

I say you leave Forsett behind. Even if he does win the job, I don't seem him killing anybody. You'll have some good WR's and MJD in the draft, that sets up really well!

It's hard to tell anyone to pass on Johnson. But you have more stability with the QB's, you've seen them do it time and time again. The only problem is, Stud RB's run out quicker than Stud QB's.
I think you still go with Johnson. You can still end up with a good QB. I think the drop off is to steep with RB's, and you can't pass up on CJ.

I would say CJ, CJ, Greene. You have starting RB's taken care of and you already have your #1 receiver. I think this is going to give you a better base to start with for your team.

I would go with Clark. He's as safe as a bet as you can get. Percy would be my 2nd choice, but like others have said there are a few more question marks surrounding him (mostly Favre).

RB is a little iffy, but thats the wat the ball rolls with the 12th pick.

I have 2 differnt strategies I really like and I come up with really different results.
8 Team / PPR Standard Scoring / 4 Keepers / 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1Flex (RB/WR/TE) 1K, 1DEF
Team 1
Ben Roethlessberger (keeper)
Eli Manning
Frank Gore (keeper)
Ronnie Brown (keeper)
Rashard Mendenhall
Johnathan Stewart
Jerome Harrison
Reggie Wayne (keeper)
Steve Smith
Hakeem Nicks
Pierre Garcon
Chris Cooley
Team 2
Ben Roethlessberger (keeper)
Kevin Kolb
Frank Gore (keeper)
Ronnie Brown (keeper)
Rashard Mendenhall
CJ Spiller
Donald Brown
Reggie Wayne (Keeper)
Steve Smith
Mike Wallace
Santonio Holmes
Jermichael Finley
------------------------
Team 2 gives me a stronger TE and backup QB (which I'll need since Big Ben is out a while). But team one is much better on depth at WR and RB. Those couple of picks I traded out to get Finley and Kolb made me miss out on Stewart and Nicks/Garcon.
Which would you rather have? Leave me your link.

Man, Dallas is going to pass is more than they throw. Lets pretend 60/40. So out of that 40% you gotta split that 3 ways. I think barber gets 15, Jones 15 and Choice 10. Either way you're getting a fraction of a RB. Stay away.

We have to turn our keepers in at the end of the season, and I kept Big Ben (maybe a Big Mistake).
4 Keepers - 8 Team League - PPR - Standard Scoring - 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1te, 1 flex
All the teams in our league but one kept a QB, so I imagine people wont be going after their backups too quick. Here are the QB's that are left:
Kevin Kolb
Eli Manning
Jay Cutler
Joe Flacco
Donovan McNabb
Matt Ryan
Carson Palmer
Vince Young
Chad Henne
David Garrard
Matthew Stafford
Jason Campbell
(and further down the list guys as well, of course)
I think Big Ben will come back and be fine, and be a good QB for me again. Problem is I have to wait 4 weeks. I need a good backup to take care of those first four weeks, but I'd really like to stock pile some other picks before I get him. Looking down my list of the available QB's (which is my personal ranking) who would you feel comforatable with for those first few weeks? I think right now I'd go all the way down to Palmer, after that I think I'm kinda screwed (gotta remember it's a small league).
Any thoughts would help!

For years we drew right before the draft, personally I wasn't a big fan. I like to have a strategy studied before I go. Now that its a keeper league, we go in reverse order of last years standings, so we know at the end of the season, but I would say give everyone a few weeks to think it over.
-
But hey, if you think he's going to be a better QB than his ADP, draft him late, shout "Championship!", and punch one of the other owners in the face. That's what this game is all about.
Best quote I've seen in quite a while!!!
Will you diversify your third tier and flex plays?

I purposely tried not to draft the same people in my two leagues. I missed on Arian Foster in my main league, but I snatched him in my 2nd. Too bad I didn't play him...
