  1. Just looking for some feedback on my team with one question at the end, thanks!

    10-team, non-PPR, 2 QB league. 6 pts all TDs, 2 pt bonuses for 300-passing, 100-rushing, 100-receiving

    We start: 2 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 RB/WR/TE, and K and D.

    QB: Brees, Freeman, Locker, Ponder

RB: McCoy, Richardson, Sproles, Hillis, K. Smith, Royster, Leshoure

WR: Calvin Johnson, Eric Decker, Garcon, Kenny Britt

    TE: Graham, Cook

    D: Patriots

Also, I have an IR spot and can move Britt to it. Would it be wise to add Hardesty for Richardson or a sleeper like Collie/Quiz Rodgers/Little?

  2. Considering the scoring system, in 2011:

Rodgers had 3 games over 350.

Matthew Stafford had 5 games over 350.

Tom Brady had 5 games over 350.

Drew Brees had 8 games over 350.

I might look to take one of those guys nearer to the end of the first round and pair them up with a better RB1.

    Just food for thought.

See, I think those 4 and Newton (14 rushing TDs in a 9-pt rush TD league) could end up being the top 5 picks. If that's the case, do I take #5 and take who falls or draft a RB in 5-7 range like Foster/McCoy/Rice and hope a good QB falls.

Last year it was a 12-team league and 7 QBs went in the first 2 rounds.

  3. I'm in a 14-team non-PPR with 6 pts all TDs. QBs get 1 pt per 20 yards and 10 pts for 350+ games, which makes them a premium. RBs/WRs get 10 pts for 175+ games.

Also, you get 9 points for non-positional TDs, so Cam Newton would get 9 for a rushing TD, Darren Sproles 9 for a receiving, DeSean Jackson 9 for a rushing, etc...

We drew #s to pick the spot where we draft and I drew the second choice. The first choice took the #3 pick. Where do you think I should choose to pick in a 14-team with that setup?

I'm thinking of 5-6 range which would guarantee me an elite RB or QB, but QBs tend to fly off the board in this league.

  5. I'm in a league where rushing QBs benefit and big bonuses (9 pts rushing TDs). Cam Newton is avg. 35 pts. a game with Tony Romo avg. 22.

I've got Romo and Tim Tebow.

My RBs are: Foster, CJ2K, Hillis, Murray, Battle, Starks, Tate, and Ridley

I've been offered Cam Newton for Murray and CJ2K. I also have a side offer trading Romo and Battle for Ryan Mathews.

Would you make both trades? Would leave me with Newton and my RBs would be Foster, Mathews, Hillis, Starks, Tate, and Ridley. Start 2 and have a flex.

Other option is staying pat with Romo and Tebow, who runs as well.

  7. I am down on Johnson, but feel like I just got an offer I cannot refuse.

I give Tim Hightower and Nate Washington

I get Chris Johnson and Robert Meachem.

Thoughts? I will return the favor!

I would make that trade. You get the best player in the deal and Meachem is a good WR in a great offense. Not sure yet how Britt impacts Washington, who has been a career underachiever.

Helu could be the guy in WASH soon.

  8. I think Chris Johnson is a good buy low candidate and in two leagues I traded for him. What do you think of these two trades/

League #1 I gave up Jordan Nelson and Jahvid Best. My other WRs are VJax, Britt, and Mike Williams Tampa and only start 2.

It would give me a RB rotation of CJ, Foster, Tate, Green-Ellis, Starks, Addai, and Pierre Thomas.

League #2 I gave up AJ Green and Mario Manningham.

My other WRs are VJax, Dez Bryant, Denarius Moore, and McCluster. Only start 2.

Give me a RB rotation of CJ, Gore, SJax, Mathews, and Felix Jones.

Do you think I made out well in these deals? Also, would u take one of those RBs and try to get another WR in each league or do u think I'm okay there?

  9. First-time PPR player, please rate my team/give advice.

10-team PPR, All TDs 6 pts, QBs get 1 pt for 25 yards passing

    QB: Peyton Manning

    RB: Jamaal Charles

    RB: Jahvid Best

    WR: Larry Fitzgerald

    WR: Vincent Jackson

    WR/RB: Wes Welker

    TE: Antonio Gates

    K: Sebastian Janikowski

    D: Chargers

    BENCH

    QB: Sam Bradford

    RB: Reggie Bush

    RB: Joseph Addai

    RB: Cedric Benson

    WR: Pierre Garcon

  10. 1. Added a strong blocking fullback in Mike Karney.

    2. Added a very solid center in Jason Brown.

    3. Added maybe the best OL prospect in the 2009 class in Jason Smith.

Sorry, I'm buying Jackson this year.

All of the backs in the league are injury risks. That's just the way it is. From a talent standpoint, I think SJax is right up there with APeterson. I"m hoping he slips in drafts b/c I'm picking in the middle of the first in several this year.

  11. I'm in a one keeper league and I was able to keep Adrian Peterson.

We play in a 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE league.

I have the #3 pick in the first round and we have these guys left after keepers were picked:

    SJax

    Chris Johnson

    Westy

    LT

    Gore

    Fitz

    Brees

    Barber

    Jacobs

The two guys picking ahead of me kept WRs, so I imagine they will go RBs (although one might go Fitzgerald). With that being said, the guy I think who could fall is LT or SJax but worse case I'd get one of those two, Westy, or Gore if I went RB.

However, next year the league goes team keeper (1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, etc..) and it's mighty tempting to take Fitz or Brees and pair them with AP to have the #1 RB and #1 QB or WR.

Would you guys do that or take the best RB available like a Steven Jackson/LT/Gore/Chris Johnson?
