    Zero RB Strategy

Anybody taking a late flier on Khiry Robinson or Andre Williams? I can see one or both having fantasy relevance as the season progresses.

    Preseason Week 2 observations

I agree. I drafted him assuming as much and saw what I had expected last night.

Randle vs Beckham Jr. giants fans chime in

The safer bet is Randle. Randle showed some signs early last year but faded. Beckham is a complete unknown and is way behind in his learning. NYG really need him to make an impact this year because the rest of their pass catchers have looked like garbage. Nobody is getting any separation. The reality is the team needs someone to step up and so far, no one has. I would say you will likely see a lot of Beckham and Randle on the outside and Cruz in the slot, so both guys will have their opportunities. But even this is not a lock. The kids Harris and Washington keep making plays late in PS games when the starters haven't. Washington has done especially well in PS and camp. The team will need to see if those guys can do anything against the varsity, so as sad as it sounds, I would say there is an outside chance those guys will be in the mix as well.

    The giants backfield

It will be a little bit of a RBBC though Jennings will start and see more time. As the top college rusher, Williams was a steal where they got him, and so far it has been easy to see why, but the guy cannot catch at all. We are talking serious body catches here. Don't forget, the new OC brings in a WCO to the team and lack of ability to catch is going to be a limiting factor in this offense. Neither back will be consistent, IMO, but could prove to be the type of situation where both have some value. Jennings comes into the mix with that group of guys who are decent consolations if you missed out on a true solid #2s and Williams more of a bye week plug in with potential as the season goes on.

    Is he playing today?

    Bobby Rainey

Has it been confirmed Rainey is starting yet? I read on twitter he was, but am not sure the credibility of the sources.

    Us Wilson owners are

The situation is not that complicated. It is going to take some time for Wilson to earn back Coughlin's trust, for sure. But the reality is, he remains by far the best back on the team, and Coughlin's options are limited, at this point. He's going to be in the dog house for a little bit until he earns back some of that trust, but the staff has every motivation to make it work with him. He has the skillsets to impact the way teams defend the Giants offense -they aren't just going to give up on that. It hurts his value, no dount, in the short term at least. I think he's still a pretty good RB2 with some risk, but also upside in most leagues.

Someone talk me out of starting Nick Foles today

As of now, he's in my lineup. It's a question of consistency (Freeman) vs upside (Foles). As of now I'm rolling the dice. I take my risks, but they must be calculated.

I'm torn between Foles and Freeman this week.

Are you losing confidence in Ahmad Bradshaw?

There should not be reason to lose confidence in him beyond what we already knew at draft day. We knew Bradshaw would be playing through nagging injuries, and we also knew he was a tough guy who will play through them if at all possible. You can ingnore his practice schedule as that is planned maintenance designed to keep him fresh. Yes, it is a concern, but much as it was a known concern from the start. As for Brown, Bradshaw was never going to be used as a work horse back. The team is smart enough not to run him into the ground, so if you thought that he would not be sharing carries with someone just because Jacobs is gone, than that was a miscalculation from the beginning. There may be cries to get Brown more carries, and you may see some of that, but it is going to take a lot to have Bradshaw not be the guy seeing most of the work. He's just far more proven in the team's eyes so nothing is likely to change much unless for some reason Bradshaw isn't getting it done.

    Jamaal Charles tonight?

I'd say he's done for the half. Even if they get the ball back, the way they're playing this offense I doubt they would let Charles step on the field.

    Jamaal Charles tonight?

They look pretty sad. Charles looks like a 1 down back -no 3rd downs and never on short. Switching backs in on every play. God they look awful outside of Bowe.

Kansas City Chiefs at San Diego Chargers

Are J Charles owners concerned? KC looks scared to use the guy.

NFC West is the best division in football

Arizona, Seattle, and St. Louis aren't going anywhere. San Fran is legitimate, but lack the QB to pick up the slack if defense or running game struggle. Fans of NFC West should be content that they are no longer a push over division, but are at least a year away from making any such claims.

Is Tony Romo just that good?

Agreed -we will. They will certainly be healthier at the CB spot, but we will see.

Is Tony Romo just that good?

So far my point that Ogletree was the beneficiary of the Giants depleted corners week 1 seems to be holding: Kevin ogletree vs Giants week 1: 8 catches, 114 yards, and 2 TDs Kevin Ogletree total since: 13 catches, 136 yards, and 0 TDs.

    Wilson or Brown

Seems pretty spot on based on what I saw today. If it is dottino, he's pretty well connected.

Anyone starting Domenik Hixon against the Eli Manning owner?

The giants have too many weapons for this to be a consideration. Start Nixon if he is your best option. Eli can go in so many ways that Nixon is not much of a safeguard.
  20. No truth. Sure Bradshaw could miss -gametime decision- but a report saying he was ruled out is false and so is the notion that Wilson would start.
  21. Bradshaw will be a game time decision. I expect him to play but not a lock. If he doesn't go it would not be Wilson but brown who would start.

    Wilson or Brown

I hear you. I just don't think that's the only reason. They want Wilson involved and expect him to get his reps most weeks here on out. Not a big workload, but 5-12.
  23. I don't think this is true.

RG3 outlook vs tough giants defense?

Giants D gets a boost with Canty active off PUP. I think they will limit RG3 but he's a guy i would not normally be playing the matchup with because he can generate pounts in so many ways. I think the giants will limit him this week, but i am bias here so take my opinion for what it is. J williams would probably have been a spy but will be out. Rivers is back and may get the assignment.

    Wilson or Brown

That is immaterial. Wilson's carries didnt change when Bradshaw went out did it? No, and brown went from zero carries to starter with little change for Wilson. Brown affects Bradshaw more than Wilson. Wilsons opportunities are mostly tied to his development and game situation.
