    Wilson or Brown

Last week Wilson got 7 carries, the most in any game to date. I would immagine you can count on at least that much in typical games here on out.

    Wilson or Brown

Willson is going to be a very good back some day, but we are going to have to be patient. Here is the latest from OC Kevin Gilbride: Well see, Gilbride said when asked if Wilson would get more opportunities. Hes progressing in some things, but some things he has a ways to go. Hes got a lot of room for growth. By the way, if we are not talking fantasy here, Wilson has made a huge impact for the Giants as a returner already.

    Wilson or Brown

Strangely, it happened mysteriously the week Chris Canty comes off the PUP list and the team needs to clear a roster spot.

    Wilson or Brown

When Bradshaw went down before, Brown took over the starting spot. If something were to happen today, I suspect they would handle it the same way. But Wilson's time is going to increase in time regardless of Bradshaw or Brown. The team loves Wilson and have since day 1.

Better NY WR to own Hixon or Barden

This is a matchup thing. Hixon matches up better with phillys press coverage D.

    Bradshaw or Brown

I didn't say Brown is better than Bradshaw. The word better never came into my statement. It also wasn't just one game against Carolina. The running game picked up with Tampa when Brown came in. But regardless, I never said what you claim I did. I said they will stick with the hot hand, which has been Brown --FACT--, but the point was, whoever is playing better will get the touches --whoever that may be. Say what you want about one game, but I watch and tape every preseason game, I attend camp every year. Bradshaw is still pretty good, but he has not looked like the same dynamic player of a few years back. Brown who was drafted with high expectations has taken several detours in his career, but the hard running and speed he has shown the past few weeks is not a surprise to me at all. It was clear to my eyes in camp a year ago and has shown it a few times in preseason action as well. My opinion, right or wrong, is far from an overreaction from one game.

    Barden Value

Remember, Hixon also returns this week. Barden is the better player right now, but Hixon is seen by the staff and Eli as a reliable guy and will get reps. It will be interesting to see how they play this. Are they convinced that Barden deserves to push out Hixon just yet? We'll have to see. I hope so because he's the better player, but ths team can be slow to phase back a guy like Hixon they have confidence in.

    Bradshaw or Brown

The running game has looked better with Brown in there. Bradshaw is still decent but with all his feet and ankle issues he is not the same dynamic player he once was. Bradshaw will start but the hot hand will play into the # touches. Right now that guy is Brown, but keep in mind Bradshaw is also the better pass blocker. 60-40 split, one way or another.

which RB? A. Brown or M. Bush?

Bradshaw is back and will get the start but that means little. Brown will get his opportunities, and the hot hand will see the most work (probably 60-40 split).

    Rumors of Nicks being Done?

NY Beat writers are pretty good when it comes to flushing out rumors and a few are well connected. If something like this was true, it would not remain silent for long.

    Rumors of Nicks being Done?

He practiced on Thursday for the first time since the game a week earlier and had swelling in the knee. That can mean a lot of things -it could be due to something serious, sure, but not necessarily. I highly doubt anyone reporting this rumor has any information beyond what I just stated.

    Barden Or Lafell

He won't be facing a rookie CB this week so don't count on a repeat but Barden will be good while Nicks is out.

Is Tony Romo just that good?

So you didn't see when I said Romo was a good QB? Or that he was underrated? Or that Ogletree looked good? (this one you actually even quoted) I'm not sure what the problem is, but you are clearly coming after me without even reading my posts. The whine and loser comments I will let go.

Is Tony Romo just that good?

Are you serious? Please go read my posts about Romo and Olgletree as these comments are utterly foolish. Or better yet, have someone read them to you. I said Romo is underrated and a very good QB and makes his WRs look better and Ogletree looked good, but I guess I am a hater because I point out the FACT, not opinion, that the Giants CBs were decimated and lack of depth favors receivers down the depth chart.

Is Tony Romo just that good?

I hear you. As I said, he did look good, so yes, I agree. It is possible.

Is Tony Romo just that good?

Dallas utilized a ton of slants to negate the pass rush. They executed them very effectively. NYG corners played off coverage and were extremely susceptible. Of course the Giants got after him. That is the strength of their D. Their problem is when the pass rush doesn't hit they are dead. That is why they were ranked so poorly as a defense last season -29th in the league against the pass -despite such a fearce pass rush. The 24 points Dallas scored was the average for the Giants D a year ago.

Is Tony Romo just that good?

Whatever man. That post wasn't for you so I'm not sure why you are calling me out. My take on Romo is that he is a very good QB and underrated by many. In my opinion I see him every bit as good as Rivers a guy who typically gets more recognition. Early on in Romo's career he leaned on TO and Witten too much, but that is what every young QB does. As he has developed he has grown and is certainly capable of making his receivers perform better. The examples of Austin, Robinson etc. are legitimate. He also has had talented guys that are capable of doing more -such as Dez and to a lesser degree Roy Williams. I see a break out year for Dez, if not this year that I don't ever see him reaching is potential, but to me that is more on the receiver than the QB.

Is Tony Romo just that good?

I give Romo lots of credit for this. But we are discussing this in response to this game and you need to consider the circumstances here. Ogletree was the matchup advantage this week, but that won't typically be the case. I make decisions with considerations to all factors. The Giants CBs were absolutely a factor in this equations. That said, I though Ogletree himself looked pretty good.

Is Tony Romo just that good?

Did you watch the game? They had the ball come out very quickly but that's a lot easier to do against weak corners. Romo is a good QB and played a good game. But lets not make too much about a performance against a defense that was down to one legitimate corner and zero depth.

Is Tony Romo just that good?

The nobody looked good because he was facing even bigger nobodies in the Giants corners and the Giants had to put their attention on the better receivers. That's why he got so may looks -he was a matchup advantage, and won't be in most weeks. If you are expecting Olgletree to be a good fantasy option this year because of Romo -good luck with that. Ogletree at least belongs in the league -some of the Giants corners don't.

Is Tony Romo just that good?

Note the offense also really picked up after the Coe injury. They didn't come out hot and were clearly better after the Giants D suffered another injury to the one place they could not afford it. DT is another spot they have a lot of guys injured (the 3rd guy in the rotation is a late draft pick rookie) and you could tell they were wearing down at the end.

Is Tony Romo just that good?

Giants have cluster injuries at CB. Their #2 CB is on IR, their #3 CB was out with high ankle sprain, their #4 CB left the game in the first half and their slot CB is a rookie who missed the final two weeks of the preseason and just returning from injury. After Coe went out Tyron was their #2 and he doesn't belong in the league. On the one TD, Ogletree gets the credit as he burned Webster with a move and Safety was way late. Giants CBs played way off and were weak against the slant. Romo had a very good game and is a very good QB, but I would not get crazy here. That secondary was decimated and Dallas just had to call plays where the ball was out quickly.

Super sleeper RB you can get for free.

He has. O-line has some questions though, but Wilson is very impressive.
