*Ppppppbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbt* Ooops....excuse me....I had chili for lunch. >That should kill the silence....and anyone else in the room<

And to defend my picks for boredoms sake... Holmes - if healthy is the best around. And even though he's almost 30, he only started really playing 3 years ago....less mileage. If he bounces back has at least a few years left. Garner - old as dirt but will be a decent #2 this year with 1 pt per rec, even losing goalline touches. As for next year...who cares...RB's come and go. I can snag a young stud in the rook draft next year. 2004 crop is supposed to be the bomb. BTW - backs taken after Garner... Davis - equally as old and more fragile Dillon - Decent back but doesnt catch too many out of the backfield Cmart - just as old & loses goalline too Barlow - young, may still split time...not a great #2 option George - last legs Trung - too unproven...doesnt have job locked up decent #3 option Zeroue - Bettis is still there A Train - Yeah right...he wasnt any good in the first place I'll stick with Garner. Ward....Plax is excellent but Ward is the man in Pit. He gets more looks and plus all the red zone looks. Burress gets the deep ones. Price....risky pick but teams cant double team Price for fear of Vick running the ball. Will leaves him open quite a bit. Even Finneran who STINKS managed 900yds & 6 tds last year. I think Price is a hell of a lot better than Finneran. Toomer...Giants stunk it up the first 7 games last season. Toomer scored only 1 TD the first half but put up good rec #'s. Check out how Toomer did after Fassel took over play calling. 58-800-7 in 9 games. Shockey will open things up even more and allow Toomer to get open for the long ball. My #3 WR has 78-1100-7 TD AVG over the last 4 years. I'll take it.

Easy Steve...Geez! Just havin a little fun. As for my team.... My team is totally a gamble. I'll either come out smelling like a rose or stinkin' out the joint. No biggie.
-
It was between Toomer and 2 others.... I doubt either will fall to my next pick 20 picks away but hey...whaddya want. Toomer as my #3....i'll be ok with that! And I want to thank Steve for helping me out with that trade BIG TIME!

As for lifting...in a former life I was a gym teacher and was pretty cut. Now i'm a computer programmer and am a slob. Simce I got married and we had a couple kids I havent seen the inside of a gym for 4 yrs. I just got back in the gym this week. Pushing 10 reps of 225 hurt like hell. I feel so weak. But hey...no where to go but up!

Maine here. Lou...I lived in NH for the last 5 years (Dover/Barrington). I lost my job after 9/11 and moved to Maine where I could find work. I'm still 35 mins from North Conway, NH and i'm 45 mins from Portland.

4.8 Peerless Price WR Atl

I have to pick up my kids from daycare. WIll be online again around 4:30pm

Moulds was my only other WR on the radar....good pick.
-
I thought about the trade but I love Ward too much to risk him not dropping the next few picks. I know a lot of other WR's are on the radar but he is Mr. Consistency. Plax is the big play guy but on 1st & 3rd down and the red zone...Tommy finds Ward. Stats dont lie.
-
Sorry I couldnt stick atound last night.... We'll get a good # of picks in today too.

3.2 Hines Ward, WR Steelers

Pretty sure I know who you would have taken Moz but I dont like him or his team. [ 05-19-2003: Message edited by: joeyjoejoe ]

I took Garner...best RB for HP scoring....caught 91 passes last year. I'm OK with it!

I figured there'd be more clearcut Priest news by now and he'd be top 3 & I could snake Alexander or Portis with the 5th pick depending on how high someone was on either. Not disappointed by the Holmes pick...just gotta make sure I cover all my backup bases! If he's healthy I look like a genious...if not I will look pretty good to you guys as the cellar dweller. I was actually thinking about offering the pick up for trades to you Moz (after reading your "dilemma" post last week but "F" it....it's done.

AAAAAAARGH.....hated taking Priest here but had to. Too much upside. I was hoping for Alexander!!!!!
-
1.5 Priest Holmes RB KC....I was hoping for Alexander.....so it's go big or go home.
