Rules are fairly standard with .5 ppr, 25 yds per pt pass, 10 yds per point receiving/rushing, 6 points per td. I picked out of the 11 spot and we start 1 QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 R/W/T, 1 K, 1 DEF. QB: M. Vick, J. Flacco WR: C. Johnson, G. Jennings, M. Wallace, P. Garcon, M. Manningham RB: M. Forte, B. Green-Ellis, S. Green, T. Hightower TE: J. Gresham, B. Celek K: M. Nugent DEF: NY Giants I feel weak at TE but the value just wasn't there at my pick(was wanting V. Davis but was picked 2 picks before me) and my RB 2 is a little shaky. Whats everyone else think?

Those were pretty much my concerns too with BJGE and Greene and I am hoping for a package to pick up a RB after the season starts. I went with Manningham simply because I think he will be the number 2 and may be a late flier. I almost went Baldwin but like the 49ers upside better.

I'd drop the saints for them. They have the potential to be the top fantasy d this year.

Standard scoring league with PPR 16 team league Start: 1 QB 3 WR 2 RB 1 TE 1 W/T 1 W/R So the trade looks like this: I give up: S. Greene C. Cooley C. Taylor I get: F. Gore S. Rice I like the upgrade to Gore and would feel better if I knew Rice would be back this year but it leaves me thin at RB. Let me know what you think. Current roster: QB: J.Flacco, A. Smith WR: C. Johnson, J. Knox, T. Owens, N. Burleson, M. Williams, K. Walter RB: S. Greene, J. Addai, C. Williams, C Taylor, D. Mcluster TE: V. Davis, C Cooley

Sent you an email.

Well just finished my draft(26 rounds!) and I think I did pretty well given the circumstances. It is a 16 player league with a little different scoring. Defense is pretty important as you will see in scoring. Offense Scoring: Standard scoring with PPR and 6 points across the board for TDs. Defense Scoring: 6 points across board for TDs 4p for sacks 4p for int 2p for tack 1p for tackle assist 3p for force fumble or recovery 1p for Pass Defended Start: QB, 3x WR, 2x RB, TE, W/T, W/R, K, DEF, 2x D, DB, DL, LB, DT, DE, CB, S And my Team I picked from the 15th spot: QB: J. Flacco, A. Smith WR: C. Johnson, J. Knox, N. Burleson, G. Tate, L. Moore, DHB RB: S. Greene, J. Addai, T. Hightower, C Williams, C. Taylor, D. McCluster TE: V. Davis K: A. Vinatieri Def: San Fransisco LB: J. Beason, C, Lofton, D. Ryans DL: J. Tuck, R. Mathis, M. Patterson DB: C. Tillman, D. Goldson, L. Delmas

Ya I would go Nicks. Bush has been inconsistent and you never know what Al Davis will do.
-
I'd be looking for a trade for a WR for one of those RB. You have a nice stable but if you only start 2 atleast 1 is going to sit on the bench all year. I think d. williams would be a great option to trade.
-
Looks pretty good you are weak at WR but I think Knox may end up being a nice sleeper this year. I don't think you will get much out of V Jackson though.
-
For right now I would stay were you are and let the preseason get underway. You have a few nice sleepers that might work for you or become nice trade bait. You and everyone else already know what what CJ is worth no point in trading yet.

I'm also interested and don't mind either team if a spot is still open.

Randy Moss has a fiar shot at Rice's TD Record
socalsprinter replied to TheGiantJets's topic in FFToday Board
I don't think Moss has anywere near the work ethic Jerry did to last as long and be as productive. I also doubt he stays with the pats that long. -
So I have had the misfortune of having to deal with M. Barber and the cowboys rotating RBs all year. I was able to finaly bench him with the emergence of J. Charles(I was really thin at RB) but I decided to gamble last week and start him(barber) in my flex spot. Well he had probably his best game this season sooooo do I keep him in the flex for the championship knowing how hit or miss he is or I could start any of these not so great choices. M. Manningham vs Car (Was a great choice early in the season now he seems to be the #3 WR in NY) J. Cotchery @ IND (Has only had a few good games all year and sanchez likes to bounce between who is his favorite WR) B. Edwards @ IND (see Cotchery) J. Knox vs Min (Has tapered off as the season wore on) So which gamble do you run with?
-
I'd go PT also. TB gives up alot of yards to RBs.
-
Alot of moves for me my draft class was extremely weak at WR(R. Williams and A. Bryant /puke) and TE. Made some trades and picked up G. Jennings( wish he had a better year but has been picking it up) and V. Jackson. Then I played the waiver wire like a mad man. My biggest wire pick up was V. Davis in week 3 after his slow start. I also managed to trade for Romo when he slipped. The 2 that helped me that last few weeks were picking up S. Smith(car) and J. Charles off the wire. Ended up 9-4 for the season. And now its championship time!
-
I benched M. Barber(although I did restart Barber at flex this week) for him oh 3 or 4 weeks ago... was a good move.
-
My team is in sig. I am torn between E. Royal, J. Maclin, and J. Cotchery so who would you drop? R. Williams is in the mix too but just hate dropping a number 1 on a pass happy offense.
-
Yep another vote for Heap
-
You really could use help at QB. I'd say the pull the trigger just cause you have a lot of depth at WR and I think Drivers production will start to fall.
-
I'd also do it. Barber should be coming on stronger as he gets over that injury that and he is the goal line back.
-
I'd go A. Smith but anyone you play is a gamble.
-
Please help me choose my FLEX for this week
socalsprinter replied to joeyemma's topic in A Little Help!
I'd go McCoy also. Wells had 1 ok game and Johnson is not looking anything near 100% if he even plays. -
Need to know whats available but a waiver pick up I like is SD def vs Oak.
-
Been sitting on the fence about the QB position all week so here we go. QB: D. McNabb vs NYG or K. Orton @ Bal I also need to pick two WR: R. Williams vs SEA J. Cotchery vs MIA (first game off injury) M. Manningham @ PHI (Hurst sholder in practice this week but appears to be going not sure if 100%) J. Maclin vs NYG Team and scoring in sig. Leave yours and I will reply.
