    Ronnie Brown question

I would fear that R. Brown is too little to play an entire, healthy season.

    Steve Smith or Chad Johnson?

Holt Fitz CJ Smith thats exactly my top 4. however, this year, there isn't one guy that is capable of going first round. in years past, people always took Moss or Owens late first round. i can't see doing it this year.

Top Five Gaurentees for the year.

Roy Williams will be a top 5 WR this year.

    WR1 vs Rb2

sometimes it may pay to take a rb2 over wr1 though. rb2's still may have more value than wr1's due to the scarcity of the rb this year.

    Wildman's Wedensday Session--Who Do I Pick?

I'm picking #10 out of 10 and was pretty excited b/c i felt that there were 11 solid #1 rb's and i would be the only team to have 2 of them. Now, it appears that Portis is more hurt then before and i think there are only 10 backs. I don't think he'll go 1-9 and i aint touching him. My dilema is do i take 2 rb's now at 1.10 and 2.1? I'll get one for sure but do i reach and draft a McGahee or other lower tier back, or should i switch my focus to Manning or possibly a solid WR? If so, who is the #1 wr now? It aint TO.
  6. So whats more attractive for my back to back picks in the 3rd and 4th, a combo of Shockey or Heap and Wayne or Boldin.? Or going Wr-wr and having Boldin and Wayne on my team?

    Wildman's Wedensday Session--Who Do I Pick?

o.k here it is; I'm picking #10 out of 10 and i'm definitly going RB-RB (1st and 2nd round). My league rewards 6 points for passing TD and requires us starting a TE. Question is, in rounds 3 and 4 (back to back picks) would you go top TE like Gates (if he's there), Shockey or Heap and WR like Wayne, R. Williams, Boldin (thining Holt, Fitz, Owens will be gone) etc, or would you take a QB like Eli, Hass and WR? Either way, i will end up with a lesser tiered TE or QB if I wait ill bottom of the 5th. Which position do you perceive as having more value?
  8. I'll be picking last in the 3rd round and first in the fourth. I will take Gates if he's there but i doubt he'll be around. Would you guys go with WR-WR here (i'm going rb-rb first) or take Heap-WR/Shockey-WR? I kinda want either Shockey or Heap and know they won't be around in the 5th 6th.

    2nd wide receiver?

R.Williams still available in the 5th? Draft him now! You will win your Yahoo Public league no problem!
  10. I'm going Rb-Rb first 2 rounds and was wondering if you guys would go with a top TE like Shockey at 3.10 and then top WR like Wayne at 4.1, or take a QB like Eli here. My concern is that if i go TE WR, my starting QB will be pretty weak. and if i pass on a TE, i'll be looking at the Heath Millers of the world. What do you all think? It is a mandatory TE league and we have 6 pts per passing TD.
  11. I'm thinking RB-RB or Manning RB and would like to see what your guys teams look like. I'm more curious as to what i'll be looking at in the 3rd and 4th rounds.

    10 team league draft

    not so good.
  13. any other drafts take place?
  14. Edge and Poris are lasting till 1.10? How sophisticated are these leagues? Not a knock but I'm curious. We've been around for 11 years and Im wondering if those guys are lasting in the more veteran leauges. Or are these Yahoo Pub's?
  15. LJ lost his head coach, his offensive coordinator (the ones responsible for Faulk, Priest and his success), the best left tackle in the league, if not ever (remember the run left play last year that was always good for 20 yds? all Roaf) another great O lineman and Tony Richardson (best blocking fb in the league). The chance for LJ looking like another Penn State RB is high. S. Alexander is the safer pick.

    LJ

LJ will dissapoint. no roaf, no vermeil, no Al Saunders, no Tony Richardson,no good for LJ owners.
  17. strategy ever? I can't remember a year were grabbing 2 top backs was so important. I feel like the RB depth chart is weak this year and after 2 rounds, they'll be scarce. Plus, even some of the RB's that are gonna have to be teams #1's are pretty weak. Rudi, SJ, Lamont are all nice two's but they're gonna have to be the cornerstone of many fantasy teams.
  18. i'm looking for some consesus down here. i'm thinking rb-rb is not the move. what have you guys done, seen so far?

    Stephen Jackson or Rudi Johnson

Rudi is the best #2 back out there. I had him as my 2 and LJ as my 1 last year. However, this year is so thin at RB that Rudi is going to have to be a 1. With that said, after watching him all last year, he comes out every 3rd down and doesn't catch any balls. He's good for 100 yds and 1 td. Steady but doesn't blow up. Steven Jackson catches balls and is an every down guy. I'd go with SJ.

    ***OFFICIAL DO NOT DRAFT LIST***

Trent Green and T. Gonzalez. I had Tony G and LJ last year so i watched alot of Chiefs. Green and Gonzo were completely worthless without Meat Roaf in the lineup. LJ will still thrive but Trent was completely ineffective without him and Tony G stayed in to block most of the time.

    ***OFFICIAL DO NOT DRAFT LIST***

TO, Randy Moss, Aaron Brooks. There are a lot of good wr's this year and i don't need TO's risk and Randy has a horrible qb

    Thoughts on Kornheiser?

Awful, simply awful. Love him on PTI but he's struggling on MNF. Almost, gulp, Dennis Miller esque. He's throwing jokes out there that Theisman doesn't even know how to respond to.
  24. below the likes of Steven Jackson, Lamont Jordan etc? He's the #1 RB on one of the best offenses in the league. He's rushed for 1400 yds 2 years in a row and is good for around 12 td's. Am i missing something? I think if i were in the 7-8-9 slot and he was there i would take him over Jordan and Jackson. What are your thoughts?
