Does taking Rogers at 4 make sense in a league where passing td's are only 4 points? Or do you take a guy like Megatron since it is ppr?

would you still take Rogers if qbs are only worth 4 pts for td's and its a .5 ppr league?

I was all set on Megatron there but now i'm really starting to lean towards Johnson.

With that said, lets break down some players to target based on your theories: Who do we know will breakout this year yet will still drop to 5th 6th round? Who is injury prone even though predicting injuries is dumb? Who has "raw talent" and just needed some things to change?

them creeping into top 5 first round picks? I think if Chris Johnson shows burst and domination in some preseason games he could take over the consensus #4 pick.

take whoever you want at that spot. when you say "feel weird" that really means "worried that everyone wil make fun of me." if you're in a ppr league taking Megatron over a RB isn't so crazy. its your team, do what you want.

how about applying your theory but switching in Megatron (i draft 4th in a ppr league where qb's td only account for 4 points) for Rodgers/Brady? now you're looking at 1.4 Megatron 2.21 Jimmy Graham 3.27 Brandon Marshall 4.44 Austin 5.50 Phillip Rivers

load up on stud wr's, qb and te early and than deal with rb's in rounds 5 and later. i cannot tell you how many mid tier rb1's i've taken over the years who have been busts. you can't tell me that taking an unproven guy like Demarco Murray in the 2nd round is a better idea than taking a Larry Fitzgerald, Tom Brady, Jimmy Graham etc...

eh Matthews scares me. seriously, what has he ever proven to be taken #4 in the first round? its all speculation with him. with the #4 you want more of a sure thing. qb's are touhg b/c my league is only 4 point for TD passes.

precisely why id rather take a CJ3 (he's proven it before) if he can show he's back in preseason, Megatron or MJD (if he gets into camp soon)over guys like Ryan Matthews. I've been burned too many times by guys like Dominick Davis and other 1 hit wonders.

he may of had a breakout game yesterday but man his he SLOW. it took him about 25 min to turn the corner on that 8 yd td run and he got caught from behind on that 69 yd scamper.

Keep in mine the Saints have been in some fairly close shootout type games this season. That type of game script does not play into Ingram's hands. He will flourish in a blowout game, running the ball late into the 3rd and 4th quarters when they don't need Sproles in there for passing situations. As another poster stated, with 2 games vs Bucs and games against Colts, Rams and Falcons the Saints should be playing with a lead late in the game, thus benefiting Ingram.

Here is my team non ppr. I clearly could use an upgrade at QB. Stafford owner has offered me him for Tate and Hightower or Stafford and Lloyd for S. Holmes and Hightower.
