It's an EXCITING Time to be a Seahawks Fan
Melissa Stark replied to FlaHawker's topic in FFToday Board
Still a chance for the playoffs Gotta love this division. -
link Not a good start to his career. They may have to nickname him Pacman.
-
Nice reporting Jg It did help my decision to start Hillis, though I had little options.
-
I have to agree, drafted Nate as maybe a third Wr option and bye-week fill in, but starting him do to injuries. Hass is horrible.
-
Started him, see what happens
-
I got Obby started because of injuries of AP. Have Hillis on the bench. I can't see starting him this week. I was hoping to have a peaceful week of useless rb's. This will cut into the points...
-
Thank the Lord Plummer got that off his chest. I agree with your comments stonewall. It is quite refreshing to hear him speak his mind than pay lip service to the media with boring standard quotes you hear every week. Tebow is a much better role model than Ryan Leaf or Lawrence Phillips.

Joe Paterno just hit the Waiver wire.....
Melissa Stark replied to Filthy Fernadez's topic in FFToday Board
Very well stated tbk420 I really have not heard this question asked by anyone in the Media as of yet. Why was he still allowed to coach, just on the fact alone he was showering with a very young child on school property? That I find is a huge blunder on all parties involved, and then still continued to happen. Common sense should dictate, no adults/coaches/teachers showering with kids/students on campus. -
Professional projections will be looked at for fun only from now on.
Melissa Stark replied to Dsausage's topic in FFToday Board
Would you rely on the Soloist's projections? They are useful, for overall stats of players, what team they are playing against, basics. This is like asking if anyone relies solely on FF Magazines for their draft There was a time before the internet when they were very relevant, just for the player lists and depths chart alone, what order players finished FF wise from previous year. I can't remember the name of the mag, one of the earliest, reminded me of a Reader's Digest looking thing? -
Couple of good ones listed. Not that the situation itself is funny. When a older woman goes out with a younger man, she is called a Cougar. When a older man is with a young boy, they call him a Nittany Lion.

Joe Paterno just hit the Waiver wire.....
Melissa Stark replied to Filthy Fernadez's topic in FFToday Board
Penn State assistant coach Mike McQueary will miss Saturday's game against Nebraska after the school said he received "multiple threats." This clown should be fired also.He did nothing to stop the rape, goes and tells his daddy, and then goes to JoePa the next day? At first I didn't think Joe needed to go until year end, but after reading the full Grand Jury Report, I find it justifiable. Just on the basis of Sandusky showering with the child should be enough to can him. How does the University justify that? Heck, even when I played High School ball, the coaches had there own shower room 27yrs ago -
Ever see the size of my hands I can rosterbate with the best of them
-
Had the first pick of the draft and took AP. Hillis is killing me. This week with AP off, I have the displeasure of starting Reggie Bush and Ogbonnaya Started Bush last week and was pleasantly suprised.

Chris Johnson pledges to donate gold teeth to fantasy victims
Melissa Stark replied to Matt Mueller's topic in FFToday Board
So who is going to go over to his house, in front of his family, and punch him in the teef? There has got to be a few willing owners. -
Don't say that Mike My best early round pick is turning into the worst. After last season and the way he started, one would think they would keep utilizing him even more. Starting to remind me of Cooley's first year or two.

92yds rush and 27rec. on my bench, fell for the Maurice Morris hype
-
I have AP, Hillis,Hardesty, Reggie Bush and now Morris. Think I'll plug Morris in with AP

What to look for in a fantasy league
Melissa Stark replied to madd futher mucker's topic in FFToday Board
My league was established in 89'. We have a complete list of rules, from when your starting lineup must be in, what positions you can start, trade rules..etc.. It is much easier for the Commish to just go to the rules, thus eliminating him from making a decision on his own, if he is involved in the question. Anything not covered in the rules goes to a league vote. -
Check in if you're playing AGAINST peterson today
Melissa Stark replied to da_mane_man's topic in FFToday Board
Now this is what I expect from my first pick of my draft -
Walter can be an enigma at times. I had him the last 2 seasons in my re-draft as a late rnd draft for bye-weeks and injuries. You never know what you get from him every week. Seeing that he has held off Jones the last 2 seasons, I would think he will be the go-to guy.
-
If I recall, Nate did that a few times with the Steelers
-
Had to start Washington do to bye-weeks and think is a better play than Knox. Washington also knows that the Steelers which may give him an edge.
-
Reggie Wayne, meet starting Nate Washington and Denarius Moore. Miles Austin hurt...grrr. Phillip Rivers for Eli this week.
-
Help me pick my starting RBs for today...
Melissa Stark replied to Bring Back the LA Rams's topic in A Little Help!
Start Stephen davis, always a lock -
Gonna disagree with Nate Washington. The stat prediction you made looks like his previous weeks with Britt. Now he is the main threat and should see an increased role as last week, but will draw more coverage. I would put Reggie Wayne in the stinker column with the Qb situation and Collins concussed. I benched Wayne this week, never thought I would have done that. Staring Washington and Denarius Moore.
