It's an EXCITING Time to be a Seahawks Fan

No - Lane is the only guy they should be worried about losing IMO! (And keeping Kam & Bennett happy) Then Kearse Everybody else doesn't matter. Our Oline sucks so none of those guy's are a priority. However, I would like to keep Lewis and Sweezy. The Dline Tackles are not all that great either. Mebane and Rubin are old. No stars there. Irvin, Lynch, Okung should be the first 3 to go. Draft Oline, Dline, and a fing OLB that can cover TE's well, and another corner for sure. Then work on off and def schemes since teams have caught onto us now. We should get out of all the Zone stuff on Def and blitz way more. And open up the offense with quick-fast plays like before the playoff's started. (i.e. copy NE) Basically - Both Off & Def. Cord./Game plan needs improving and updating IMO. Even Pete needs to take a hard look at what's NOT working, instead of ONLY looking at the positive.

NFC Wildcard - Seahawks at Panthers Game Thread

    - Carolina dominated. Congrats. Hope Carolina runs the table now. I think they will. Someday maybe we'll learn to stop a TE.

It's an EXCITING Time to be a Seahawks Fan

I think Carolina IS for real. I think the winner of this game is in the SB personally. Arizona would give us tons of home fans too. Not my favorite matchup and I'm nervous over this game personally. We can't stop TE's and they have the best one left in the NFC. Also, we might get Beveled again. It almost happened against Minn as we played down to the elements and had a conservative game plan again. We need a masterful plan and execution or we will lose. Carolina is very scary I think. But, so are we so we'll see. Should be a great game.

You poor fellows are still trying to talk smack against us even when the guy's you regularly babbled with aren't even here anymore? Comedy. Haters still hate and live on a message board. Enjoy the playoff's!

    Realistic SB Contenders

Hawks vs NE rematch is what I'm thinking. And a little payback in order!
  7. I think Brown is the guy. Coleman won't be a factor, and Fred will be his normal role. Both are too slow. The question is Michael, but my money is on Brown for the major workload. Michael should not have even been signed back IMO. But, with Harris cut we needed depth and somebody that's familiar with us and who was available. I think I'm rolling with Brown in my big money PPR league. I'm sitting Bolden, White, and Fozzy. White is the one I'm struggling to bench. Bolden probably makes the most sense. But, I road Rawls and I think Brown is next in line. I hope!
  8. Started the year 1-6 and made the playoff's being the highest scoring team in the league and winning the 4 way tie-breaker. Lost Olsen and Rawls in the the 1st/2nd qrt. on Sunday. Now I'm down 41 points. I need OBJ and Landry to go off! (Big money 1 PPR league) I don't feel lucky. I'll say 25% chance to win. OBJ needs 3 TD's tonight. Lets go Beckham - Be the man one more time!
  9. Busy with F.F. 1 word - Bevel. Ugh Run up the middle, pass to the side, shotgun all day, bad clock management - That's it. That's all we did. Vanilla is an understatement. It was much worse then Vanilla. Def not much better - 1 blitz and it happened to go for a sack, fumble, TD. Other then that - Let them do what they will and go into prevent/zones when it matters most. I could call a better game plan. Mamma Lynch is right - Geez. Things to do Bevel!!!! Roll Wilson out - Never happened (Don't they know he's best at passing on the run - Not sitting in the collapsed pocket) Wilson option play with Lynch/Option run-pass - Never happened Pitch out to Lynch instead of running up the middle every time - Not once Go deep - Not once Pass more then 20 yards - I don't think so. Maybe twice. Screen play over the middle sucking in their pressure def - Nope. Only to the side allowing CB's to swoop in instead of blitzers Good mix of pass/run plays to mix up the def Better routes and plays Under Center to mix things up - seemed like Shotgun all day Probably a million more things. Better wake up Bevel/Pete or we will be 0-2

    WR Option

I've got both myself, and I feel better about Landry over Tate. Rolling him out with confidence. However, I'm trying to decide if Tate is a better option then Cooks for this week. Probably over thinking it though.
  11. I think you should eat the crow Phillybear. hehehe You called Clark a 6th rounder, and no better then a 4th with major off field issues. I won't even get into the Lockett smack you hammered on over and over. I loved these 2 picks, and even more now. Clark might end up starting he looked that good. Wait till you see Lockett at wide - He's going to shine there too. (He might be our next R. Wilson steel IMO) He fills a huge hole on our special teams though, and most of us saw that as super important. Team game - remember. STU are just as important as anything, especially when they were hindering us. Both these cats were sweet picks and will be plugged right in and help contribute in many ways. Anyway, I agree that we looked like crap other then those 2 players. I worry about our Oline big time. First play - Fking Britt beat bad. Our Oline and #2 CB big concerns for me. But, it's still preseason game #1. Not that big of a deal. Nothing to worry about. I like the Centers. A+ draft I still say, especially when you factor in the Graham trade. Just need one or both of those O-line guys to pan out though. I didn't see much so far. I think we have a little problem drafting quality O-line. They have missed a lot on this position. They need to start looking at pass protection O-line when they evaluate. It's not working what they are doing at this position IMO. Graham is going to be so sweet for R. Wilson. That trade put this draft over the top. GO HAWKS.

    Which team is better? (standard)

I like team 2 also, but for other reasons. I actually like Lynch/Jones more then Bell/Nelson by a little bit, but what puts me over to team 2 side is I don't like having Gore & Johnson on the same team. If team A had Stewart then I would go on that side actually. I have Stewart better then Gore myself. I like Johnson, but Matthews has way more potential. Team 2 has more upside overall. Team 1 has a really old feel other then Jones.
  13. Trouble for playoffs - Yes But we could skate by 1-5 games with T. Jackson - And allow a sprained ankle by R. Wilson to heal or whatever. (Or back for playoffs type of deal) T. Jackson can go .500 or 3-2 in a 5 game stretch and would not kill us. The QB we had as backup before would maybe go 0-5 though. Done. Our Def and running game would step up, and with T. Jackson be a decent team still. Not championship caliber, but "skate by" just fine. Good signing. Better then Vick. Probably cheaper and knows our system and team well. The guy's would get behind T. Jackson.

    FFT June Mock 2015 (Done)

My top 3 fav's are: Riceman, WW, and Vikings. I also like Football Guru a little bit, and if he finds a solid QB could make noise. Especially, if one of the #2 RB's pan out. There were a few others that looked pretty good too depending... The 3 teams I have the most concerns about: Iceman - Not a fan of the recieving crew. I see issues. I also could see Forte drop down this year, and nobody runs well in Indy really. Gore = old. Ray Limo - I like the 2 wides, but not much else after to me. I don't like relying on N.O. Both wides could disappoint with unhappy contract? Boom or Bust team. Remote Controler - I think there are a few player concerns, and I don't see enough consistant fire power. I think they play close, but not good enough. Everybody did real well though! You can see it's a competative league and everybody good. Anybody could be the top dog really. Also, It's still early in the draft. The key is actually after this. NOTE: Had to add in that I really like Fumbleweed too. The more I look at his team I really see and like what he's doing there. Need to hit on a nice WR or TE next. I think the D. Jax pick was the boom or bust for that team. I probably would have went somebody else there.
  15. Love the T. Jackson signing. I agree, that he gives us some depth and could plug and play 1-4 games easily. Vet leadership and knows us well. He could be a very managable QB for us if needed. Plus he's kind of "our guy" and been with us from the beginning of our run. I agree about Wagner. I want his deal done! Sooner the better. I think it will be somewhere between 8-10 too. He's the last part of our Def puzzle that we must sign. Sweezy would be my fav. Oline to resign, but he's a non-issue until R. Wilson gets done. Same with Okung or any lineman. I think Okung is not at the Unger level yet, but he's also not worth the money with his injury history. Full focus on Wager & Wilson! Both must be re-signed. Everybody else can wait or take a back seat to those two. R. Wilson to me is a must and it had BETTER get done at some point. I'm sure it will.

Best Corp - WR, RB, O-line

RB: Seahawks Best running game in football, and not much of an Oline IMO. The backup could start on most NFL teams. And a 3rd stringer that is very young and talent with great speed. And he can pound the rock decent in his own right. You add Wilson to the mix and the Running game is the best. Honarable mention: Phily/KC WR: Denver Honarable mention: Colts/Packers TE: Pats (Gronk just does it all) Honarable mention: Hawks. (With Graham you have a #1 in the league pretty much. Willson is no joke behind him. Passing wise, they are solid crew. blocking wise, not so much. Oline: Easily Dallas. Honarable mention: Balt Best Backup QB: Sanchez/Phily - Cause he'll start once Bradford goes down. And probably as good as Bradford anyway. (This isn't saying much by the way) Horarable mention: Jimmy Garoppolo (Most upside on well built team and coach)

Instant Fantasy Analysis - WR Tyler Lockett, Seahawks

There is no reciever to own for Seattle. Even when we do pass, it will be spread out evenly. Graham - 85catches, 950 yards 8 TD's (Best option - Tall redzone/Big play when needed or chain mover) Baldwin - 75catches, 850 yards 6 TD's (sneaky good - A guy to rely on - chain mover) Kearse - 60catches, 750 yards 4 TD's (Deep threat - long catch for yardage with few catches per game) Lockett - Impact on special teams mostly, 350 yards 3 TD's (Still a nice weapon overall for us though. Eventually might be Baldwin replacement. Seperation play) Chris M. - 250 3 TD's (Primarily redzone - probably benched as the year goes on. Can't seperate very well and Graham does his job) Robinson - 300 yards 0 TD (Gets nothing first half of year, then gets some time as #4 or 5 option) Luke W/TE - 40-50 catches, 400 yards, 4 TD's (If Graham is keyed on, he could be big for us with less pressure on him) _______________ Wilson = hits 4,000 yards with RB, etc. 28-30 passing TD's. Plus Rushing stats Then he gets his big fat contract he deserves.

Darren McFadden to sign with Cowboys

And I believe it takes BOTH and they play off one another. Does the Seahawks have a great line? No, it's pretty bad actually. They have a great runner though. . Just one quick example.

Darren McFadden to sign with Cowboys

Pretty good article, What I find funny though is the "2 points" at the very end for Dallas. 1. Get AP, rush for 2,000, and go full risk- big reward. (Dah - Yeah, they should have) 2. Get Matthews and draft Gordan or top rookie. Well, point 2 is gone. And #1 doesn't look like it's happening to me. I even felt AP was starting to come around and willing to play in Minn. The next article will be: Is Dallas serously trying to roll out with McFadden and Randle? What were they thinking? I'm seeing more and more Cowboy fans (since the draft) changing their tune now, and willing to give up major picks for AP. Maybe cause it's next years draft and not this one. But, most likely the realization of your RB crew down right sucks now, and the run you were on put to a stone cold stop. I think maybe you've lost your chance at AP. Now your stuck with McFadden/Randle and a tanked year with Romo aging by the day. IMO Minn should continoue to play major hard ball if Dallas wants AP at this point. Kinda late to be coming back now. I don't see it happening really. I bet AP makes nicey nice and plays in Minn before he ends up in Dallas.

    Giants Fan's Rookie Bust Pick

Don't agree. I see him as a potential rookie of the year canidate myself. I like him and his situation in SD. I think he'll fill in and replace Matthews right away, and be better then what Matthews ever was. He's got a perfect team around him/Rivers. Busts for me would be: Both QB's. However, Winston will pad his stats to look better. Both will have HIGH Int's though. And he'll look horable at times. And I'll say Gurley as my RB bust pick. I can see people calling him "Girley" because I bet he continoully gets hurt often. I also happen to really like Tre Mason, even before what he did his first year with the Rams.

Darren McFadden to sign with Cowboys

So who is your Murray replacement then? Randel? (Before the draft it was supposed to be a top rookie by a lot of you Dallas fans) Now what? Where are the 350 attempts going? And I say 350 (instead of 490) because with this RB crew, you will NEVER come close to 500 attempts again. The reason you were as good as you were last year is BECAUSE you got up the 500 attempts, and kept the ball out of you aging QB hands as well as resting your Def. You went to the power running game (like the Seahawks) and kept long sustained drives for the most part. Or you busted open a quicker TD due to teams worried about the threat of Murray. Also, when you got close Murray had the skills to finish it. Murray IMO is like a Lynch. I dissagree with your guy's assesment of who Murray is. I see him as a powerfull back who can bust threw arm tackels, but also has good vision and ability to gash angles on the def or cutback. He's a 4 yard pounder per attempt and can catch well too. And block, etc, etc. Your clearly taking a hit and just don't want to admit it. Romo doesn't have the time for that. You really need AP, who is a better version of Murray.

Darren McFadden to sign with Cowboys

Others have already said good posts to your points that I also agree with. And while AP makes the only sense to this whole thing, I'm coming from the angle that this might not happen now. This could be the team your stuck with. If so, -Then who exactly is going to fill the almost 500 attempts if not McFadden? Or even the 380 that I pointed out? (If you say Randel, then again I think your living in a hopefull dream world - You would have been better off with a rookie) If Dallas does nothing more, then I do assume they think McFadden will be the work horse to their fault. -I also don't see why you couldn't have had all 3 fazes. (Oline/Murray/Romo) You didn't need to sign McFadden or a risk player who's suspended. You could have drafted a risk player in the draft instead. oh wait Oline was set in place no matter what you did at RB. So was Romo who negotiated to keep Murray. Those 2 fazes were already set. So I don't see your point. (I'll take Oline/AP personally) -When Murray got hurt, Dallas chose to start somebody else over Randel a number of times. The Dallas depth chart often showed Randel as #3 too. I've also seen Randel given the start a few other times and I was not impressed at all. I did not like him coming out of college either. He's better when he has Murray in the lineup and he's does spot duty. That's what I've seen. When he's your starter I don't see him being that great. Also, my point is that he's not proven anything or that he can. To be fair - I think Randel is your best hope at the moment though. Becuase your right, McFadden is good for 150 OR he's done. I think the other 2 posters clearly made great points - They expect AP in Dallas or they agree that the "sky is somewhat falling"

    This Years Top RBs

Graham has got to be better then Luke Willson though. Luke was horable. Graham is at least a bigger body to get around if nothing else. My early top 10: 1. J. Charles 2. M. Lynch 3. AP (Could move up or down depending) 4. L. Bell (Brutal schedual and Susp. Might boost him up in PPR later though) 5. E. Lacy 6. L. McCoy (No real worries if PPR) 7. M. Forte (not sure yet. PPR gold usually. Need more research) 8. CJ Anderson (Could go to #6) 9. A. Foster (Should be higher, but I feel he's so old. Like his situation, def team, sched though) 10. Not sure yet - See below list Since I'm not to satisfied with this top 10 I'll probably wait on RB until the 2nd or 3rd, as long as I pick after #4or5 overall. So these would be on my radar next: (Some for PPR) J. Bell, Hill/Bernard, L. Miller, Gordon, Forsett, Morris, Murray, Ellington, Spiller/Ingram, Hyde/Bush, Maybe Gore
