WOW! Talk about a coward. What a freken punk. Theres already affidavit from the Daytona Police Department againts Avery Atkins for False Imprisonment and Battery against his girlfriend/babymama. According to the witness statement, Atkins held her against her will in car, drove her around and struck her in the face about 13 times. She said her face, lip, neck, and shoulders were all bruised and swollen. Heres a quote from Urban Liar from the previous week about Avery Atkins in general. I wanna see Urban try to sweep this one under the rug.

Yes, thats the ONE concussion i thought he had. Thats nice you provide all those links (about the same game), but i think you answered the question about his "concussions" in your own post. I dont know where these "several concussions last year" came from. Most of them were mild concussions which probalby werent even addressed. First of all, he missed spring practice and some of summer workout because of his broken ankle. There were only 6 games prior to the Duke game. Miami- Played the whole game Citadel- Played majority of the game (let backups play when they got a big lead) BC- Played the whole game Syracuse- Played the whole game Wake Forest- Played the whole game Virginia- Suffered concussion

Heres a lil sum'n sum'n on Reid Reid is one of my all time favorite Noels. He is a class act, humble guy. I don't really get into the hard line guarantee's of "this guy will fail" or "this guy will succeed." But those of you who are counting WR out should note that he is in the same situation as Steve Smith with Carolina. Steve was considered too small and his first year he only caught 5 or 6 balls but lit it up on Special teams. Then he got more WR reps the next year and we all know about him now. Reid's trophy case houses the ACC Championship and Orange Bowl MVP tropies and he ran a scorching 4.34 at the combine. He's got serious talent.

Pros:Scott is a quick pass blocker and displays the footwork to slide well. In pass protection, he rarely has been bull-rushed and protects the outside very well using his long wingspan and strong hands to force rushers wide. He bends his knees well and has the flexibility to adjust to secondary moves. He has a huge, bulky frame with very long arms and displays power, agility and quick hands. He could easily start at right tackle early in the NFL. He has a strong lower body and he shows good movement at the point of contact with the strong leg drive. At the Senior Bowl, he showed pass protection skills and the ability to force rushers wide of the pocket. Cons:At times he will be beaten off the edge by speed rushers, but graded out better in pass protection than as a drive blocker. He needs to flash better pop at the point of contact as well as finish stronger. He can get a powerful push at times, but he needs to show consistency in that area. He could show more nastiness and finish stronger. He will play high at times, which negates his power and athletic ability. Numbers:At the Combine he ran the 40-yard dash in 5.35 seconds with a 24.5” vertical jump and an 8’5” broad jump. Skinny: Some inconsistencies have hindered his final grade and likely put him behind the top four or five tackles. He starts a second tier of tackles in this deep class. He will probably go in the first 75 selections and is a good mid-first day pick with the Texans and Bills interested.
