    I am already annoyed enough for us both.

     

    The fact that this happened with his last two picks, and he never even posted a "my bad" makes this time totally inexcusable.

     

    Now it's the 2nd offense and it's just like the 1st - had to know his picks were coming, yet disappears for hours with no post to say, "back at 9 tonight" or whatever. We may not even pick again today.

     

    This is such crap. Deisel, you suck the sweat from a dead man's balls for this. :thumbsdown:

    ok, maybe that was a little harsh, but he still sucks something.

    :banana: GRRRRR I had Tatupu targeted with my second pick all day. I will take Andra Davis instead. I was afraid you would take Benson so you should have been sweating - I almost took Tatupu 1st as I figured you were going LB with one of your picks. Davis should be a top 10 LB. And Benson is not going to sit on the bench this year in Chicago!

    7.12 Mushin Muhammad- :banana: Im stoked i got him this late as a WR #3. Im really high on him this year and most reports from camp have been good.

     

     

    8.01 Lofa Tatupu- I picked him up on waivers towards the end of the season last year and he put up some good numbers. I had him in my top 5, so im really excited i got him.

     

    I was sweating out the 2 picks before me. I was hoping they werent going to take either one. Whew!

    I had Bulluck & Urlacherd as the top 2 LBs for this year.

    5.12 Matt Hasselbeck- WOW! Cant believe he was availbale at the end of the 5th. I wasnt even thinking QB, but i couldnt pass up this opportunity.

     

    6.01 Lawrence Maroney- This is what took me so long. I was tore between him and a few other players. I had a tough time making a decision. I thought it would help if i got some breakfast and thought about it. Breakfast turned into a trip to Best Buy to get the new Christina Agulera CD. No it wasnt for me, it was for my girl...by the way, shes pretty damn hot still. Than we had to go to Starbucks, because the coffee at Chick-fila tasted like crap.

     

    My draft is shaping up to be pretty good. :mad:

    Well I have an interesting pair of RB's to go with my STUD WR'ers. Foster looked pretty darn good this last weekend. This is his year to stay healthy! Get D. Davis in the pink and I'm ready to roll. :unsure:

    That your are. IF DD can stay healthy, your team will be a contender.

    3.12 Santana Moss- Could have taken a few other WRs, but i didnt really like any of them THAT much. I like Moss's big play ability. Hes a speedy reciever that can stretch the defense. Just what i like in a WR. If their running game sucks this year, which i dont think it should (i had Portis #2 overall :bench:) Then Moss should benefit even more.

     

    4.01 Donald Driver- He is clearly the #1 WR on the team and if the GB defense strugles again this year, that means more gunslinging from Farve & more garbage points for me. :wacko:

    whoa whoa whoa - I was pretty well messing around. even in my response. Lighten up, Francis.

     

    I did not mean to be uncivil..it was humor. The 1st post was just irritation. I hate when people talk about draft picks, and I was especially irritated because someone said Owens name when I was really hoping he'd slide to me.

     

    Relax muchacho - no offense intended. I wasn't even talking to you, just in general like I said. The pie hole comment was intended as humor also. Thick skin is a good thing and something that was there last year...good natured ribbing & all that.

    Cant argue with Moss & Boldin. Boldin is a plyer i really like. Probably has to due with him being an FSU alumn, but i really like him this year. Hes a big strong WR and IF i remember correctly i think Warner looked more towards him last year compared to Fitz. Two solid picks Zap. Your teams shaping up to be pretty good. Just better hope Moss doesnt take a monster sh!t on your team and ruin it for you.

     

    Oh ya... KJ was one of the other RBs i was thinking about taking, but thought it was best to stay away from the home team.

    Just a comment. With 8 teams making two picks each, three out of eight have gone RB RB. I guess it isn't that unusual this year, but historically in competitive leagues it's a very rare season. Also, I like all three RB RB combos. I'm one of those who's a little low on Edge this year, but man he was an unexpected bargain for Diesel at #12. I wish he took Reggie first and Edge second. Then we could have a league where Bush was a 1st rounder and Edge not! :huh:

    :lol: the reason i picked Edge first was because i already knew he was one of the players i was going to pick. My other pick i was contiplating between Reggie, T.O., and a couple other RBs. T.O. has too much drama for me & the hammy issue. After ruling him out, i was left with Reggie or a few others to choose from. I said the hell with it, might as well make it interesting, so i swung for the fence and picked Reggie. Hope it pays off :headbanger:

     

    Im very surprised more RBs werent taken in the first two round. I remember last year, nearly everyone went RB RB in the first two rounds.

     

     

    Well, I'd never take Manning in the 2nd round. Personal preference.

     

    As for Westbrook, the injury potential is exactly as great as his potential to be HUGE.

     

    So my point was I'm just glad I didn't have to make the choice. I probably woulda taken Westbrook and then woulda been pissed when he got "Portis'd"

     

    Speaking of, where's Cold Canadian Beer at? :banana:

    I think Bush was a serious reach.

     

    That said, if he made it to me I might have grabbed him at 3.05 on the way back, so if you wanted him on your team you had to. :lol:

    Thats the thing, he wouldnt have lasted until my next pick. Oh well.

    I was contiplating taking Terrell Owens with one of my picks. I couldnt justfiy taking him though. Hes cancer to any owner it seems. I would have probably taking CJ, but Pretender already took him.

     

    1.12- Edge- Dont really know what to expect. He has heart & motivation...no question about it. OL seems to be their weakest link though. We'll see how he does

     

    2.01 Reggie Bush- Yea, im swinging for the fence.
