Walli Lundy is a free agent in my league.......
Low Score replied to markaj06's topic in FFToday Board
Yes - he's been the "feature" back for 2 weeks now. But I have to ask...how do you only have 2 RBs? If you're like playing in some 1 team league or something, there might be better options on the waiver wire. -
I agree - Chester.
-
Roy. Have you seen the ATL pass defense? Neither has ATL. Thank you, you've been great. Drive safely, everyone. Seriously, nobody needs to throw against OAK.

New Feature: Opponents' FF Points Allowed
Low Score replied to Mike MacGregor's topic in FFToday Board
This is a great idea. However, maybe I'm missing something but the stats on the Remaining Schedule page do not align with the page showing what's really been done in the season. For example: On the Opponents' FF Points Allowed, Remaining Schedule (for WRs), it shows CLE at a -10% meaning "Wide Receivers score less against the opponent than the NFL average". Here's the link: http://www.fftoday.com/stats/fantasystats....;LeagueID=10608 But when you go to FF Points Allowed, Regular Season (for WRs), it shows Cleveland as giving up some of the most FFPoints in the league (22.6 per game - 9th worst). Here's the link. http://www.fftoday.com/stats/fantasystats....;LeagueID=10608 I used the FFToday default scoring for my example. How can one page show Cleveland as below the NFL average for WR FFPoints allowed per game and another show them as one of the league's worst? Am I just missing something? Same thing happens for SF. -
Bench Colston. D-Jax will still get targets. Seneca isn't going to have a new "favorite" - QBs go through a progression on pass plays so when there's a QB switch, sometimes they progress to the #2 more frequently and sometimes the #2 gets a better game but the #3 or #4 rarely start standing out because of a QB change. D-Jax will still get the targets - it's just a question of whether the passes are accurate.
-
Scobee dooby doo. Jax will be in the red zone more often.
-
I think you go with Green. Lundy is a close second. I'd stay away from Cadillac this week.
-
Washington and Droughns.
-
Drew Brees vs. BLT pick up Wali Lundy @ TEN Plax vs. TB Chad Johnson vs. ATL I like the matchup Mush has but he's been underperforming on even good matchups lately.
-
You can't go with ATL - Cincy is going to score ocho cinco points this week.

Funny how TO drops the ball and he's all smiles
Low Score replied to TheGiantJets's topic in FFToday Board
Romo needs to chew out TO when they get to the sidelines. Maybe expand into a little Buddy Ryan vs. Kevin Gilbride type action! I certainly hope TO doesn't become suicidal over his dropped passes... -
Good points. The real issue here is to look at both passing and rush defense stats when determining who to start. Sometimes, stats can be misleading especially if you just look at pass defense.

Addai and James and...I don't think McGahee is going to do well but you probably have to start him over Barber.
-
I like Cocthery against the Lions as well.
-
I have the same delimma. I'm going with Chester. Although, I also have Maroney against the Bills and think he'll do well but just can't get myself to pull the trigger on playing a split-carries back over a workhorse like Chester.

Glenn, Harrison, Jennings & Cotchery--which 2?
Low Score replied to Mark Williams's topic in A Little Help!
Remember, you can't really cover a QB with a WR. You can only cover a WR with a QB. In other words, the WR can't have a big day without the QB also scoring those points (unless the QB miraculously gets hurt...which would eliminate the need for a cover anyway). The QB can have a big day and the WR get very little of it. Just ask Terry how those 3 TDs to Terrell were last week - Drew and Terrell had nice days, Terry sucked. Regardless, I think it is a tie between Glenn and Cotchery this week based upon match-ups. I'd probably go with Cotchery vs. Lions this week. -
I guess this pretty much means they won't trade Moss before the trade deadline (October 17th). Not that I thought that was going to happen - just blatant rumor-mongoring. Of course, who knows with the Raiders right now. One irratable All Davis sponge bath and the entire team could be traded.
-
I would take Lee Evans this week especially against Detroit's porous pass defense. Now that I've said that, expect Roy to have 150 and 2 TDs!
-
Stingers are difficult to tell because you go light all week in practice and the first hit in a game can flair it back up. I'm not surprised he's playing this week but wouldn't be surprised if he left the game early.
-
I just sent flowers to Leinert's family.
-
Nowhere near being benched. Gibbs has a slow trigger finger (unless your name is Ramsey) and he will not bench Brunell until they are mathematically eliminated. If you can get Brady for Brunell straight up I would do it. Brunell is only good based upon matchup.
-
I'd pick Willie and Caddy (if Caddy is playing).

In same situation and had a good feeling about Maroney, however, after analyzing it, Chester has played some pretty studly defenses so far this year and his new o-line was gellilng. Maroney plays Miami which is a little overrated statistically on its run defense...unless you consider stuffing Tennessee and Houston as accomplishments. New England should have a good rushing day - Maroney will get about half of it, right? I'm probably going with Chester this week just based upon a feeling.
