The Portis matchup seems good on the surface but the Washington offensive line is in dissarray. Samuels is out. Jansen is going to be out. They are down to their backup's backups now - let alone Portis being worn down.

(1) T.Jones, (2) D.Keller or Tony Scheffler

I think the Denver WR play this week is Royal rather than Marshall. I'm a Marshall owner and hate to say it but AssofMiiagi will be on Marshall. -
no negative points is the key - go Rosenfels and Mason.
-
Actually, it's the opposite - Lee will get more targets because teams won't double him as much with Reed back in the lineup. I'm still not sure if a gimpy Reed will make a big difference, though. I know a healthy one would.
-
I didn't see the game but agree. WTF! Against the Falcons even.
-
who would you sit? Slaton, Wayne, Marshall, Lynch?

I'd sit Lynch as well. -
Also, the local radio onsite sports reporters here chatting with trainers, coaches, etc. report that Portis was able to straighten his leg today for the first time this week. He's walking with a "very noticeable" limp...when he walks. Zorn might be saying Portis is 50/50 and a gametime decision but the local beat reporters who see him and talk to members from the organization don't think he will play Sunday. Some speculate (emphasis on speculate) that he could miss multiple weeks. Not that the local sports reporters are medical experts but they're at the park, they've seen stuff like this before and they're talking to other who have seen it before as well...

Agreed. now is the time to trade Slaton and getting Forte would be a good trade.

One thing that is predictable about Shanny is that Torain will at least get a shot in the starting gig before the season ends. Don't know when and most likely it will be the week that Shanny says he's disappointed in Torain but that's the way he operates. I bet you he tapes the signals of other teams, too.

Usually about an hour before game start. nfl.com is easiest and best way to access (IMHO)

Go with Plax. Gates a close 2nd. And I think BenJarvis' nickname should be BeJesus...especially if he's scary.
-
Go with LenWhale. Indy's run defense stinks and Sanders is likely out. Of course you play match-ups - it's why CJ and LenWhale both had big games last week and they don't do that every week. They have another great match-up this week. See mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...=330294&hl=

All word is Torain is the real deal for the Denver zone blocking scheme. Big, physical, good one-cut runner, good hole selection from the zone blocking, etc. You know at some point this season, Shanny will feed him the rock...and then yank it away for no reason...
-
Pretty even defenses but go with Lynch. Brown is starting to split more with Ricky - one great week by Brown and it's easy to forget it's RBBC in Miami most of the time.
-
Stick with Boldin but don't expect big points. You can't sacrifice the other guys and you can't sacrifice the season for 1 week. Remember when Darrell Jackson took the big hit in Seattle a few years ago and it took a while before he returned to form. Expect Boldin to have alligator arms for a couple of games.
-
Go with Brown - Akers doesn't offer that much at the outer ranges. Stick with Turner - I agree with berven, the other guys are not an upgrade.
-
Go with Lenwhale. While he's not up against the 32nd ranked defense in the league this week, he is against the 28th ranked defense... Cedric isn't going to solve Cincy's woes.
-
I'm not sure I would make a move. Assuming you need to start 2 - go with Smith and Crayton. NYJ will ground and pound with TJones against the 32nd ranked rush defense. There shouldn't be much NYJ passing especially with Favre's shoulder bothering him.
-
I'd go with McAllister - the others are too much of a toss up...except for Bensen who should just plain struggle in CIN.
-
I'm worried Westbrook could re-aggravate the rib injury and ATL isn't great against the run but better than CIN and KC are. CIN is 27th against the run and KC is 32nd and both give up a lot of fantasy points to RBs. Am I crazy for thinking about not starting Westbrook?
-
I actually think you could do a little better. Bowe's value diminishes with Thigpen as the starter - i.e. the offense has to actually be on the field in order to get catches. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=330294

Over 99% are punts. (Sorry, I couldn't resist)
-
Yup - totally agree. The Jets DST will give you more good games than bad here on out.
-
Go with Avery. He presents match-up problems against a dinged up and suspect Dallas secondary. I think (emphasis on think) that Haslett gets this unlike his predecessor...
-
I like VJax with Chambers likely out. VJax will get a lot of looks and while I think SD could struggle, at least VJax could get numbers. Also, go with Cotchery - Oak's pass D is not good despite having good individual players. Maybe that will change with Lane Kiffin gone but doubtful.
