Haven't really gotten to see the hands of A.Williams yet, but as a Giants fan I know a lot about him -- there's a reason he was #1 in rushing last year with Boston College. I'd go for him over Oliver, especially since SD is so pass heavy with Rivers.

I keep flip flopping week to week, and this past week I was dead wrong. Had over 100pts on the bench.
Need to start RB, WR, WR, F
Have:
Ellington
L. Miller
McCoy
Antoine Smith
VJax
Maclin
Crabtree
OD Beckham
Steve Smith Sr
Leaning towards VJax as he is getting more comfortable with Glennon, ODB who looks great and Phill's D sucks, Ellington who is a primary target in ARZ, and Miller who is much the same. Just unsure if I should swap SmithSr for anyone, and also maybe Maclin for Miller since GB will probably go up early on Miami and force throws from Tannehill instead of runs by Miller.
Thoughts? Will answer yours.

It's a work league on myfantasyleague.com. It's a 12 team league (3 divisons of 4 teams) that goes through week 13 in the NFL like most leagues, which means you play each team once and the remaining two games you played against two teams in your division again, but that leaves out one team in your division they you don't play twice which we thought was stupid so we have one week that's a double header and you play one out of division game and also that other remaining team from your division. Its actually a cool concept and can make or break you depending on how you do that week. Unfortunately for me we've been doing the double header for four years now and I'm 0-8. Never won a single game when we have the double header week lol

Great. Those were my thoughts as well. Looks like Jones may not play so that's making the decision a little easier. Don't think I can start Boykin over Boldin...
-
So unfortunately I'm 2-5 with some interesting matchups this week and need help deciding who to start. Its a PPR league with minimum 2 WR and 1 RB with flex we/rb/te.
My choices are:
D martin vs ATL
B Jacobs vs MIN
G Bernard vs DET
J Jones vs CLE
V Cruz vs MIN
J Boykin vs CLE
A Boldin vs TEN
Again need to pick four, and at least two WRs. I'm leaning towards Martin and Bernard with boldin and cruz.
Leave a link and I'll help with yours.
Thanks.

I'm in a similar boat needing a TE and have basically the same guys to choose from except for Finley. For me it came down to Dwayne Allen and Scott Chandler. I opted to stay with Chandler because he's usually a good target for Fitzpatrick in the end zone and there are rumors that Fleener may be back this week.

I'm a Benson owner and I am perfectly fine hanging on to him. I am also contemplating giving him the start becasue he has a favorable matchup against a terrible N.O. defense, and since Andre Brown is going to split carries with Bradshaw and it appears Fred Jackson may not be ready to play. My starting RB is Turner and the only other option I have is CJ2K, which of course isn't an option at all.
-
Need some opinions. Here's my roster:
M. Ryan
A. Smith
Benson
FJax
CJ2K
Redman
Turner
VJax
M.Wallace
Crabtree
R.Cobb
Gresham
F.Davis
Giants D
Cowboys D
Hou ST
Obviously I got hurt bad with FJax going down early, and Chris Johnson is more than a bum, there are no words for him and his sorry play. Granted Benson had a good week, but I didn't start him and I am not so confident he will keept getting carries and GB is always a pass-first team. I am not thrilled of giving up Alex Smith and having no backup QB, but hopefully Ryan will continue to produce well, and I plan on picking up Bradford as a backup QB and dropping Gresham to make room on my roster. I wanted Boldin in return in case I need to play him where other WRs might have unfavorable matchups, or for trade bait later on.
Also I should mention this is a 12 team, PPR, Keeper league.
Thoughts? I'll comment on yours as well.
Thanks.

PPR league and 6 pts per TD - 2wr, 2 rb and 1 flex. Here is the lineup
WR - Welker, Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Antonio Brown
RB - Reggie Bush, Roy Helu, Michael Bush
My issue is whether to play Michael Bush or Marshall - leaning towards Bush - please help!
Also TE is weak, but Ballard or Olsen?
Hmm, normally I'd be inclined to take a RB over WR, but Suh is back and that could make the Lions D-line tough to run against. It may depend on Matt Moore's health. Is he ruled out yet? I haven't heard.
I am not too fond of Olsen. Jake Ballard has amazing hands and usually gets a few goalline targets from Eli.

Unfortunately I do no think you have any options other than your proposed starters. Good luck!

That's what I was afraid of, just wanted confirmation
Thanks.

Agreed, if it's Julio Jones, go with him. If it's James Jones, I'd still go with him and Smith -- with Jennings out I think Nelson gets doubled more and leaves James open. I like it. The Cowboys suck and are going to free fall from that horrible loss on Sunday. Bryant will be doubled and Robinson and Witten will get more looks from here on out.

I lost FJax before Thanksgiving which was a huge blow, and now I lost Greg Jennings this past week. Amazingly, I won a playoff game and now I'm in the semi-finals. Unfortunately I'm up against the guy who has Rodgers and went 13-1 in our league. Here's what I'm left with and thinking of starting:
STARTING:
QB - Flacco - iffy matchup against the Chargers in San Diego
RB - Rice - ^ basically the same as above
RB - Donald Brown - I like this matchup because they seem to play better at home and apparently Caldwell will be fired if they finish 0-16 so hopefully that inspires them to play well
WR - Fitzgerald - Nice matchup against a bad Cleveland D in my opinion. With Kolb hurt again that leaves Skelton who seems to find him pretty easily
WR - Manningham - He got some targets last week and I think Wash's D will key on on Nicks, leaving Manningham open. This is tough because the Giants may go back to Cruz at #2.
TE - Gresham. No other real good options on the WW other than Jake Ballard who I don't like as much as Gresham for targets.
DEF - Miami - Like the matchup against a weak Buffalo offense lately, the only thing that scares me is that they're in Buffalo, and Fitzpatrick was recently under scrutiny, so he may have a huge game.
ST - Houston. They've been consistent all year and their kicker doesn't miss too often, plus they get some good kickoff return yards and punts inside the 20.
BENCH:
QB - Sanchez. Bad matchup against Philly I think. Always dangerous playing IN Philly is my thought
WR - Titus young. WW pickup this week in case I wanted to go 3 receivers and sit Brown. Debating this with the Lions matchup against Oakland
DEF - Eagles. Don't really like the matchup against the Jets
DEF - Jags. Don't really like the matchup IN Atlanta either
ST - Miami. Would rather go with Houston since they have a backup QB and may settle for FG's more often. They've been great all year.
Your thoughts? Leave a link and I'll respond to yours.

I would go Pack defense. They have a decent matchup against the struggling Raiders at home this week and I bet Rodgers makes the game a blowout quickly.
I would also go Tate and Robinson.
-
I think I go Philly here but its close with Miami. St Louis is off the table for me.

I was thinking the same and I will probably go that route now. Someone also suggested Arz vs SF's D after they demolished them last time around, but I am not comfortable with that.
Thanks.

Bump. Help please.
Post yours and I'll respond as well.

This is always my question mark because I end up second guessing myself.
I am in the playoffs and they start this weekend for week 14. Which defense do I start? I currently have:
Philly @ Miami. Philly's D has been so-so all year, but Vick is supposedly back which means they might be on the field less which is always good.
Miami vs Philly. I can take the opposite and go with Miami's D who has been real good lately, however as I mentioned the fact that Vick is back is a potential red flag to me.
St. Louis @ Seattle. The Rams have looked bad lately and going into a hostile environment in the very loud Seattle stadium against a division rival spells bad news to me.
Option #4 is pick up the Chargers who are home against the Bills. This one intrigues me because the Bills are looking pretty bad lately and I like SD at home, however all season long their D really hasn't earned many fantasy pts.
Any suggestions? Post yours and I'll respond.
Thanks.

I would grab Hardesty...but I am also hopeful that Jackson will be back sooner rather than later.
Don't get your hopes up, he's out for the season. Broken leg.
-
Seahags. Not close.
Thanks. Unfortunately the guy before me in the waiver wire grabbed the Seahawks, so here's part 2 of this question:
Rams against the Cardinals or Dolphins against the Cowboys?
-
Eagles
Rams
Seahawks
Eagles D has been looking good lately, but with their QB situation and Maclin possibly out, I am not sure if that means their defense will be on the field a lot. Plus, they're playing the Patriots who always have a deadly offense.
I like the Rams D lately and they seem to play well at home, especially against a backup QB. The only thing I don't like is the fact that I have Fitzgerald starting, so any pts he might get me would almost negate my defensive pts. I've learned to try and avoid situations like that whenever possible.
Seattle's defense looked good last week, but they haven't exactly been great all year, and you never know which Skins team is going to show up, especially with Grossman being streaky.
Leave a link and I'll reply to yours.
Thanks.

I cannot believe nobody says Hasselbeck here...Guy is the 12th best fantasy football quarterback. He has scored 174 fantasy points for me in a 2 QB league I'm in. Guy scores plain and simple
Exactly! I was just thinking the same thing. I actually am trying to trade for Hasselback as my QBs are Flacco and Freeman who both suck lately.
-
I like Vernon much more than Fred -- too many inconsistent QBs in Washington. Alex Smith is only improving and Davis will get more targets as Crabtree and Edwards battle injuries. He's worth potentially keeping too.
-
Here's my roster:
Flacco/Freeman
Rice/FJax/MaMo/Hardesty
Jennings/Bowe/TSmith/Evans/E.Sanders
Keller
Rams D/Eagles D
Hou ST/Jags ST
I feel I have a decent starting QB, two very good RBs, and two good starting WRs. I want to improve at TE, and try to improve at DEF as well.
A guy originally offered me Phillip Rivers for Bowe lol. I countered with this:
Bowe/Keller/Eagles D
For
L.Robinson/Witten/Hou D
Would you make the trade? I like Robinson's upside with the Cowboys with Austin being hurt and probably missing the next two games. Bowe just isn't getting end zone targets and I don't like KC's offense that much. Other than that, I am comfortable with Houston's D and their matchups moving forward, and I think Witten is still a better TE than Keller, as he gets many more looks from Romo than Keller does of Sanchez.
-
SF has a good run defense so I look for Eli to be throwing the ball a lot. Especially since Bradshaw is still questionable, I don't have a ton of faith that Jacobs will continue to be effective. Palmer still has a ways to go in terms of getting in sync with his team, and he has far inferior weapons at WR than Eli and the Giants.

Yeah I was thinking the same. Bennet is getting more looks and you gotta go with who's hot. Plus, Cutler is starting to find a rhythm too.
Classy problem -- too many good players, unsure who to start

I hear ya, but Miller looks really good in both rushing and receiving, plus being the primary back with Moreno out.
I may change my mind and go with McCoy.
Thanks.
