    Free Agent TE

Several unpredictable and most likely undrafted tight ends had a nice week one showing. How would you rank these guys? 1-Evan Moore 2-Ed Dickson 3-Scott Chandler 4-Fred Davis

    Free Agent TE

Yeah, if Hernandez were out there it wouldn't even be a question. I think I'll drop Celek and for Moore.

    Genius or cheating?

Yeah, our league states a player must be on IR to be place on "fantasy IR". So, it's not cheating, but the league rules could use a spruce up.

    Final Roster Cuts

A couple thoughts: Chester Taylor or maybe one of the Johnson boys (Gatrell or Jeremiah) goes to Jax? And how much do the Jax RBs that were released today have to suck. Detroit cut former 3rd pick Derrick Williams. Raiders release Lito Shepherd. Lonyae Miller lost the competition for that final RB spot in Dallas. Chargers release Laurent Robinson. LJ didn't work out with the Dolphins.

    More Honesty

Ok, I love RP, but think he might be a little soft on Iran. However, let's say that Iran does get get a nuclear weapon. The don't have the delivery system to hit the U.S. So, they hit Tel Aviv or Rome or some other mid-range city to attempt to draw us into a conflict with the middle east. We could then launch an all out nuclear assault on Iran. Iran problems solved, and the rest of the middle east learns the hard way that we ain't bullsh*%tin'!

    Trade Help

I'm thinking about offering Crabtree whose value couldn't drop any further for S. Smith (eagles). Really just as back up for DeSean Jackson. It could also payoff if Macklin's mysterious illness re-appears. Any thoughts? PPR std scoring, 10 team dynasty.

    Don't draft Moreno - don't do it

The way it looks now Tebow won't be seeing the field for much of anything. I'm not saying Moreno is an RB2, but as a flew or RB3 in a PPR league he has a high floor. Meaning there will be a lot of touches for the RBs and Moreno will get his share.
  15. BRANDON ROSS

    Don't draft Moreno - don't do it

Ok, so I own Moreno in my dynasty league and my view might be jaded, but he had 6 carries for 28 yds and 2 catches for 21. Even if Mcgahee vultures some (maybe a lot) of the TDs I still think Moreno has high floor in ppr leagues and could be a value pick this year. I didn't see the game. Who got the most carries with the first team.
  16. BRANDON ROSS

    Let's Play a game...

I didn't really specify, but the idea was to pick only one player. I think the Jets might give Bilal Powel a chance. Rex Ryan is a freaking wild card. I also think Pats would start Woodcock. Belichick trusts him. I hope you are right about Brown, but he only got 1 carry for -5 yds in the game this week.
  17. BRANDON ROSS

    Joe Webb

Ok, he didn't throw a TD in 3 games last year, but his natural ability as a runner and his arm strength should at least keep him in the mix. He's fun to watch and seems like a nice guy. I'm going to call it now, and say I think he gets a chance to start this year.

  23. I have to assume by loss they mean the price the team could be sold for today less what they estimate the team could have been sold for a year ago. I seriously doubt their ability to accurately forecast these figures. This article is useless swill.

    Dynasty Running Backs

I would never post this line of question here unless it was such a slow time, and it could relate to fantasy football strategy. In my dynasty auction ppr league, I build my team around consistency. Specifically I try to start a RB in my flex since they are more consistent scorers than wr or te. I'm bringing in a stable of questionable running backs (although many with upside) which makes me uncomfortable. My RBs at this point: Darren McFadden - maybe a second tier back, but far from a proven commodity. Michael Bush - come on free agency! Knowshon Moreno - depends on who they add in FA. Beanie Wells - I have to think (despite Ryan Williams) he will get his chance to be the main ball carrier at the start of the season. Donald Brown - Personally, I like the way Mike Hart runs, but the Colts are invested in Brown, and they drafted 2 o-linemen in the first two rounds. So maybe, just maybe, it was the run blocking last year? Tashard Choice - I like to watch him run. I hate Dallas, so Jerry Jones (if you are reading this post) please consider trading this guy. Lots of value there. Mike Goodson - big sleeper in PPR league, esp if Williams leaves. Anthony Dixon - gaining weight to play some fullback. Not good. Jerome Harrison - good runner. I might cut him if I need to the spot though. Still a decent chance he might see some spot starting duty depending on where he ends up. Should I try to move a couple of these guys for a quality starter or just take a wait and see through the first couple weeks of the season. Once again, sorry for posting this on the mange board, but I think it could lead to some quality discussion about upside vs. consistency at the starting RB position.
