Just do a back of the envelop calcutaion. If you're down or up, let us know how much. I'm about even if I count the grand that my wife won in a FF league a few years ago. I paid for the entry, and helped her all season so I consider it my winnings.

Nobody bets on the ponies? You guys need to come to Lexington, KY for Keenland's spring meet. It will be the best gambling experience you've ever had, and there are super-hot chicks all gussied up. It is really beyond description.

I really struggled with this when my dynasty league dropped back to 10 teams last year. I went with 6 which I don't like, but you have to have a nice payout for the divisional winners to reward the regular season play. Also, having a bye in the first round for the divisional winners really helps. The real answer is to go to 12 teams, and have 6 go. -
Do not require that you approve the trade, allow yourself the ability to reject the trade at any time for any reason. A major problem with trading is that behind the scenes deals could be made by a team that is out of contention to a team in a better position for a player and actual cash which is no doubt collusion. If you find out about this after the trade has been approve, they might complain that you have no right to reverse the trade.

I tried a vaporize at my buddy's house years ago, and it didn't seem to get the job done. Do you get the same effect as say... a b*ng?

Shock Poll: Any Republican would beat Obama in 2012...
BRANDON ROSS replied to posty's topic in The Geek Club
Well, I think this sums it up pretty well: http://www.econtalk.org/archives/2010/05/roberts_on_the_2.html But I'll give the ultra-abbreviate bullet list for the board (I'm pretty sure each is covered in greater detail in the paper): 1- Past Govt bailouts created what is called the "Greenspan Put". This removed the counterbalance to investor greed which is fear of loss, and created incentives to be aggressive with investments. http://mercatus.org/publication/gambling-other-peoples-money 2- Government initiatives to promote housing ownership (including Fannie/Freddie) artificiall drove up the housing market. Housing ownership can actually hurt the economy when people who probably shouldn't own houses decide to buy. Houses in the lowest end of the market tend not to appreciate at all. Also, high levels of home ownership decrease mobility in the work force which can have negative economic effects. 3- The Fed kept interest rates too low for too long after the dot.com bust and minor economic dip in the early 2000s. This made businesses and investor unable to properly evaluate the cost of capital and caused a misallocation of investment. 4- The protections for the creditors of the investment banksin made borrowing too easy, and this caused a level of leverage on these risky investments that was unprecedented. -
The Final Cut really is there best albumn, but one song is a little different to call for a group like pink floyd. This is my favorite Syd Barrett song though: http://[media]http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smVYvnnqewAhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smVYvnnqewA

Maury has really carved out quite a niche for himself. -
For the record, he seemed like a nice guy in his interview on CNBC today. I'm just saying he looked the part.
-
He's got the full slightly graying head of hair, and that bristly mustache. You just know that even if this guy was a child rapist he could still land a good job. Pic

I think intervention in the economy could do more harm than good. It was intervention that cause the depth of the recession in the first place. The economy is cyclical just let it do its thing. -

I chose this because it was different looking, but the more I see it the more I think is looks like a vajina. Which I'm ok with.

I'd rank him right there with Closton or Boldin, and I'ma Colston owner.

I'm a little surprised you guys take the time to look at each others pictures...you don't have kids do you?

Which player are you staying away from this year!
BRANDON ROSS replied to ricanrockers's topic in FFToday Board
I'm staying away from S. Smith (CAR). I love the guy as a player, and I like Matt Moore as a QB in that system (which is hand the ball the DWILL or JSTEW). I really think he is on the downside of his career, and being slightly on the short side, I think he career could drop off very quickly if he loses a step or two in those DBs. Not to mention the recent broken arm. I already have the other Steve Smith on my roster, but I'm not thrilled with his value either non-ppr especially). I think Nicks will be the center of that offense, and Maningham is also primed for a good year. -
is this IDP and what is the max # of total roster spots allowed?
-
Start a new league...Name it "_____isana-hole" and dowload your yearly stats to excel and save it on a google group like we do.
-
I've tried to get myt league to draft a coach for year. 3-5 pts for a win. Simple, and let's you route for a team to actually win unlike every other scoring option in fantasy football.
