So you can only start 2 RBs? I think you have to play CJ and Forte, which sucks because you have a great talent in Hightower wasting away on the bench for all but Forte and CJ's bye weeks. If he's going to be relegated to the bench all year, you might as well try to see what starting lineup help you can get for him.

Why is that a "slight" upgrade at WR? Johnson is a HUGE upgrade over Plaxico. And Is Hightower going to keep up this level of production? I don't know. It would be a case of selling him high, which I don't think is as ridiculous as you do. I agree that Hightower/Gates are probably my 3rd and 4th best options, but I get a top 10 pick in return. For comparison, I spent #31 on Gates and #90 on Hightower. I understand that it may not be a sound trade, but there's got to be something to be said for having possibly the best trio in my league with Vick, Johnson, Johnson. Those are three top 15 guys. If Blount and Greene can give me 7-12 a game, I think I would be in good shape. Also, there are ways of making your point without being a jerk.

my logic in including Branch is that any WRs on my roster besides Johnson and Johnson would be bye week fillers at best, so no need in having unused talent like Branch wasting away on the bench. And I think Dickinson or Pettigrew would be decent TE replacements for Gates, so I feel good about throwing those two guys on top of a Andre Johnson for Tim Hightower swap.

One more thing Axe Elf, do you rate Starks as the 4th RB on that list even though he has one of the more favorable matchups with Carolina?

Haha, I don't know. this is an NFL.com league, and their rankings were pretty weird. BenJarvus, Starks, and Bush were all rated super low. I went WR/WR with the 10th and 11th picks so I had to load up on RBs and hope one of them would break out as a tier 1 guy.

dang, my first instinct was hightower and greene, lol. i know greene probably burned a lot of people last week, but he has the best O-Line and his team will probably be playing ahead for most of the game, which fits nicely into the rex ryan offense. Greene and hightower, and i think hightower ends up as one of the higest scoring RBs of week 2.

Best, Starks, Jones, I expect a big let down from Tolbert, plus he's got probably the toughest matchup
