    Michael Bush = td vulture

Yep. Him and Bubba Franks were TD machines in spite of barely squeaking past double digit yardage. Always good for 6 or 7 points.

    Players you can drop

Yep, he's hardly a first tier RB, but then he certainly wasn't in that draft class. Sproles is outperforming him, sure, and he'll likely continue to do so with all the passes he's targeted for, but Ingram has a solid YPC and still seems to be a decent RB2/flex option now with a fair amount of upside. The concern is that Payton is a pass happy playcaller, and for the second half of the game against the Jaguars, he didn't run nearly as often as he should have with that lead. I think that is the biggest roadblock for any Saints RB -- any Saints true RB -- to be a real FF force, not to mention all of the options the team has on offense. Cutting Henderson after one bad game seems rather rash, too. Colston did not look good returning to action. His knee has been through a grinder. Henderson will remain the deep threat for some time. He's only appeared to be a consistent WR due to Colston and Moore being out early in the season; otherwise, it's going to be feast or famine.

Time to give up on Patriots D/ST

Brain hemorrhage? Seriously, of all the teams out there, why would you grab the defense which instantly brings to mind "shoot out" for their opponents and broadcasters?

    Dare I say...trade Megatron?!?!

That wasn't enough for you to avoid drafting him, was it? Would you trade Brady or Rodgers because, ya know, they are performing exceptionally well and could be injured? Hell no. Of course not.
  5. Were it anyone else, I'd have dumped his sorry self by now, yet right now it really seems like any random FA QB is going to perform better than what he's been doing as my current FA QB pick-ups have been reminding me for the past four weeks now. Will his team fix itself down the stretch to make him worth stinking up my bench now and potentially missing out on the next break out player? What are Bradford owners doing with him?

    Thanks Jets D/ST

To be fair, they're on the field like all the time. The offense is terrible. The Jets D is costing me a win, too. Regret not taking the Baltimore D in the draft, but hindsight is 20/20 and all that. Regret at lot of things in that draft. :/ Edit:

    My Team Continues to Deplete...

Bradford - small injury early; still playing like he's hurt Colston - got hurt 1st game L. Moore - been hurt but finally capable of starting week 4 C. Johnson - sucks Hillis - good for two weeks, then strep Ingram - flex position, decent and still about what I expected Green Ellis - flex position, worse than expected but serviceable for the position I suppose Janikowski - supposedly has some light nagging injury; risk of being jailed or something Jets D - died yesterday Yeah, I feel your pain. I'm 0-3 with no end in sight, though that's mainly due to Bradford being so terrible. Just hoping I can play the waiver wire to patch up the crap and hoping there's still room to squeeze into a playoff spot at the season's end. I'd KILL for Fitzpatrick. Started Dalton yesterday. Henne week 2. Bradford week 1. I'm grateful just to get double digits from a QB.

    Ben Jarvis Green Ellis

I didn't get to see the game, but the Bills do have a defense. I tend to think his problem is Belichick just being too gun shy running, and then having to be stuck in a RBBC on the rare chance he does choose to run.

    Chris Johnson

I can't bring myself to put him on my bench, but it's been tempting as hell. I have to trust he'll improve as the season wears on, but this was supposed to be his coming out party. You're not going to get anything of note for him, so you might as well ride it out. That's what I'm doing, at least, but then I am 0-3 with Johnson, too.

    Lance Moore...

Moore is clear WR2 and arguably a low end WR1. He's been hurt. That's all. Now that his groin is healed and he can run and cut as he used to, expect Moore's production to rise and Sproles' to taper off.

Who is starting Cam Newton this week?

Really? You're dismissing the past couple of years and off season additions over a single game, the first game in a new season following the lock out mess? Good luck with that.

Am I the only one who thinks ...

Ingram broke a few tackles. He's the clear #1, but, as you've noted, Payton's running schemes are terrible. He needs to use more play action, or, at the very least, don't send Ingram into B. J. Raji thinking he's going to move that thing. Payton's pretty decent about recognizing his mistakes early, and I think he'll have an easier match-up against the Bears, particularly if Urlacher's not there to cover the middle this week. Remember Turner average 10 yards on 10 carries against this Bears team last week, and that's with the game spiraling out of hand from the Falcons early and putting them in a position to abandon the run.

Who is starting Cam Newton this week?

Same. I actually cut him prior to Sunday since I needed the space to patch a number of WR injuries I suffered, and while I'm sorry that he's no longer on my team, I'm not that disappointed in the loss. It's week one, y'all. Cam plays in a tough conference, teams will look to lock down Steve Smith, and I see him struggling from here on out. He has ability, sure, and I think he'll be fine, but he won't be FF Jesus as he was in week one, certainly not against the Packers this week. Fitzgerald, Henne, and Grossman are all better, likely available starts.
