  1. In a PPR, I'd lean towards Shorts. While Blackmon is out, he's going to be in Gabbert's sights all game long. In standard, it's a bit closer, because Moore is as inconsistent as any WR in the league, but he's always capable of that fluky 2 catches for two touchdowns games. I'd probably still choose Shorts because I hate getting all those 3.2 point games from Moore while waiting for his big ones.

I agree with Flava flav's wife.

  2. Thank you so much for providing this free service for us less-knowledgeable owners. A man with your credentials could easily be greedy and keep it to himself. Or only disperse it for a cost. You are a true saint. alsonotreally

You're welcome. And your avatar of Brigette Nielson is pretty cool, too.

  3. One more. This is for a 0.5 PPR league, where there is no required TE, they are just used as WR or Flex. I took a late round flyer on Christine Michael (I don't have Lynch). Gates and Sudfeld are on waivers. Either of them would just be an occasional flex. My current flex is MJD.

I like Michael, but he doesn't see the field without a Lynch injury. Sudfeld is interesting because he'll take Hernandez's role in that hybrid TE slot, basically making him like a WR. It comes down to this: if you like to play the lottery, keep Michael. If you need consistency, I'd grab Sudfeld.

(If Bryce Brown is available, look for him. Kelly's offense will utilize 2 RB's. Just FYI.)

  4. Vereen, Shorts or Sudfeld as my last flex spot in a PPR league. Right now I have Vereen in, but I am wavering.

I like Vereen here. NE should get up quick and there'll be no need to air it out. Little swing passes and hand offs to run it down. Don't panic when Vereen has nothing in the first half, it's the second half he'll get dat cheese.

  5. only owned by 50% of the leagues grab him now before he blows up....thank me later

I like the part where the OP puts DHB's last name first, like he's filling out a driver's license application or something.

(He's only owned in 50% of leagues because he sucks. HTH)

  6. The Giants have an offense which revolves around their WR's, and Hakeem Nicks is a walking M*A*S*H unit.

Which is why Nicks is one of the steals of this years draft! He's gonna get paid and believe me when I say he'll play at least 15 games and be a top 7 WR. You're welcome. No fee required.

  7. I drafted 3rd in a 12 team .3pt PPR league w/FLEX, and this is how it went down:

    Romo

    Tannehill

    Doug Martin

    SJAX

    David Wilson

    Joique Bell

    Jacquizz Rodgers

    Kendall Hunter

    Knile Davis

    Roy Helu

    Marques Colston

    Pierre Garcon

    Stevie Johnson

    Josh Gordon

    Lance Moore

    Vernon Davis

    Rian Lindell

    Denver D/ST

My plan is to see how Josh Gordon works out/hope that one of my backup RBs hit it big, and upgrade WR if I need to. Right now, I think this team is pretty good, and well rounded with good depth and no bye conflicts. Thoughts on improvement?

  8. Some of these guys might not even be owned in your league. However I'm interested in seeing how you guys rank these players. Please explain why you think others would be better than the rest.

    Kenbrell Thompkins

    Alshon Jeffrey

    DeAndre Hopkins

    Cordarrelle Patterson

    Ted Ginn

I would have added Tavon Austin but a lot of people are already high on him. These guys might not be owned but could be in other leagues. Just looking to see who people think wil breakout this year out of these four since most people have them as WR4s.

    Jeffrey

    Thompkins

    Hopkins

    Patterson

    Ginn

    *Add Kenny Stills

  9. Yet again you make yourself look retarded. It's ok though everyone here will just overlook your opinions as in informative dribble

It doesn't matter how you dribble as long as you do it informatively! Got it on lock! I'm going to give you a free pass to my fantasy football service for this season. You're welcome. You may PM me with any question for the year related to fantasy football. No need to thank me until you have won your league. Be sure to tell your friends!

  10. Look back on what I said. Did I say anywhere that he sucked? No. I said he has improved a lot from last year. Now that he is the main back they will be putting even more pressure on him to improve further since they no longer have brown. Try to read first before trying to sound like you know everything

So they didn't want to pressure him before because he was 1/2 of a tandem. Got it. I imagine the conversation went something like this:

Coach: Hey Wilson, you're getting Eli killed, but that's cool cause you're not as bad as last year.

Wilson: Thanks coach. I interpret Eli calling me a mother###### after he got drilled as a term of endearment.

Coach: Well, Andre is down so you're it. I hereby anoint you a better pass protector as opposed to the mediocrity you provided in that aspect before. Also, you need to really do better, before we didn't care if you got him killed, but we figured out we kind of need him.

Wilson: Thanks coach. I'll put on my +7 pass protecting shoes with my strength cloak and will suddenly be good at it. No worries.

  11. From all the reports coming from camp Wilson has gotten better at pass protection. He might not be the best guy at pass protection but he's come a long way from what everyone is saying. I think the giants will put more pressure on him to step up his pass protection and will work with him even more now that their security blanket for pass pro is gone but I still thin Wilson will stay in every down now

So they were cool with him sucking at pass protecting before, but now will REALLY ask him to do better with a week left. Got it. We'll see how excited Eli is throwing from his back.

  12. Huzzah!

I know most of you have been waiting for my picks this year. I've been on a summer ren-fest tour and have just now reached civilization again. But without further ado, let me provide you with some picks that will greatly assist your team and you can get at a very good ADP. I guarantee a 75% hit on these individuals:

QB: Mike Vick. In redrafts, you can probably get him between rds 10-13. In auction drafts, he might put you out in the $3-5 range. Wasn't it just 2 years ago he was debated as potentially being an overall number 1 pick? (Thanks Matthew Berry). He's talented. He's embraced the new offense, and say what you want about his durability, there isn't a better value in terms of risk/reward you'll find this year. Most importantly, he's fearless. Vick will throw for 3500 yds, with 25-27 tds and run for another 700 with 7 tds. I'll take that lottery ticket all day.

QB: Sam Bradford The offensive line is solid. The wide receiving core and TE position has been revamped. And fresh legs are heading the RB position. You can mock his past, but there isn't another quarterback who's offensive core has been more improved than the Rams. Again, he's either on your waiver wire or you can grab him for a buck in auction leagues. Don't be surprised to see 3700 yds with 30 tds this year and another one punched in from a rush. From a value standpoint, you could do worse.

RB: Mark Ingram Opinions differ on this cat. He's looked nice in the preseason. Not spectacular, but he's catching passes and appears to be getting goal line work. If anything, he's study with the potential to far exceed his ADP. If he continues to catch well and can improve on the ypc, Ingram could have nice value. As I write this, he's 9 for 49 and a TD tonight. I foresee 900 yds with 8 tds and another 24 rec for 130 yrds with 2 tds. Yep, that's 1000 yds and 10 tds. Book it.

RB: Bilal Powell Chris Ivory is toast. Sorry, but can you think of one game he's impressed thus far playing for the Jets in the preseason? Oh, you mean he's hardly played. Right. He's Mr. Glass with no upside here. The Jets are in full on RBBC mode until they realize they already have their starter. This one is purely hunch and he's probably hanging out on your WW. Don't worry, no one else is targeting him....except you now. Hehe. You're welcome.

WR: Alshon Jeffrey This was a better pick last week before Cybil aka Brandon Marshall got off his meds. If you think a surgically repaired hip that's been operated on 3 times and is not 100% is going to hold up for an entire NFL season, then you own him. Couple that with the fact that he's not the only show in town and not being hugged enough from the couches and that's one fine recipe for disaster. Dunno about you guys, but I'll take that into consideration when drafting him. I want consistency in my WR1, not worry every week. Enter Jeffrey. everything you read on this dude screams breakout. When (not if) Marshall goes down, Jeffrey is the WR gold for the year. If your league is sleeping on him, please find a bench spot for him. You can return here at the end of the year and thank me. 1000 yds, 9 tds, 75 rec. Yeah, I said it.

WR Andre Roberts While everyone else is blowing their load on Floyd, you can sneakily pick up the real value in Roberts. This is primarily for you PPR guys, but with a suck run game and a slinging Palmer, look for Roberts to reap a ton of catches and yards. 75 rec, 1000 yds 6 tds. I'll take that from my WR4/WR5 for a buck or in the last round.
