Doing a couple difficult tricks doesn't make it a sport in my.opinion. That being said, 'entertainment' and 'sport' are often interchangable. There are things that people do in movies, dance, music, the circus, that are pretty physically amazing. I'm not sure where to draw the line though.

It's funny how this country doesn't tolerate someone being a vigilante, yet it tolerates violent crimes to a large degree. So a person can't even administer covert recourse on someone who purposefully wronged them.

The "I did it when I was young" defense by old guys is tiring. Usually a story that they think makes them seem like they were cool is associated with it. We all did stupid things that could have gone wrong and injured ourselves. But not on the roads where other people are. It's amazing the lack of intelligence and reason that was instilled in some people. 20 years old is not 5 years old. But people who got lucky and didn't kill someone like to look back and rewrite their ignorance off as "being a kid". With no conscience.

It's skateboard frenzy era, except skateboarding advanced in it's technology and it had a little staying power. I would put it up there with tap dancing. Although, if you are really good at tap, I suppose you could find the work because that is a semi transferrable skill set in theater. Because you most likely have other skills as well on top of it. Ratings must be expected to be tanking even more. They are trying to gain the "youth of the world" with this stuff. I frankly don't see it. For summer olympics, it's all track and field that is interesting as far as I'm concerned. For winter, it's downhill skiing, speed skating, and well, I'm a big hockey fan so that too I guess.

That's not true. "Climate change" is a redundant term in a sense. The climate is defined by it changing. It's been that way since day one of the planet. And it will ALWAYS be that way. The Earth has gone through volcano eruptions, meteor storms, ice ages, warming periods, hurricanes...you name it. And it will go back and forth like that until the sun swallows it whole. You can spend your life being afraid of this man made lie, but not me. In case you haven't noticed, the name of this "problem" kept changing until they could settle on the most generic of all terms. "Climate change". It's an easy sell to those who need some "problem" to hang onto and be concerned about. It helps elected officials have something to work people up about without them having to do anything that can be measured in their lifetime. They can run on that crap for years without any accountability or actual measurable results because there is nothing to fix.
