I'd suggest forwarding your phone # to the Bears front office. I think you have better qualifications than most of their coaches.
-
lol

You said it yourself, Marshall made the mistakes. He has no one to blame but himself. Maybe he's not as good as hype train suggests.

It's funny to that anyone would believe that Smith will be the starting RB in Detroit for more than a few games. He has missed 22 of the last 37 games due to injury, of the 15 he has played, he has only started 5, and only gotten more than 10 carries 5 times. Do you think he's suddenly going to be a 15-20 carry/game back for the entire season? It's not that LeShoure, or Best is going to come in and steal this role from Smith, he'll just hand it over with poor play or an injury.

Time to start benching Rodgers and start Ryan?

Thank you - The man has had to play against 2 of the toughest defenses in the league in back to back weeks, and his numbers aren't bad, they would be good numbers from most starting QB's around the league. When he gets a cream puff DEF like KC missing half of its starting line-up, he'll light it up just like Matt Ryan. -

This is a horrible argument. You could have just as likely gotten 2 non-elite performances out of anyone that was taken in the top 5. McCoy had an average week 1, what if he gets shut down by Baltimore this week? You're in the same position. If you're 0-2 it's because you either drafted a bad team, or have had really bad luck. But don't try to pin it on one player. If you're relying on 1 player to win your games for you, you need to get a lot better. Rodgers had to play 2 of the best defenses in the NFL in his first 2 starts, he's averages 261/1.5/1. There are very few QB's in this league that could do that against SF and CHI.
-
We'll all take your word for it. Hey everybody... Murf say Aaron Rodgers is no longer an elite QB. He usually has a good feel on this stuff, so we should all just cut our losses and move on from Rodgers.
-
If the OP is thinking Rodgers has lost value, maybe others have too. Now would be a great time to try to trade for him.
-
Until there is a definite timeline for his return, I wouldn't give anything of value for Freddy.
-
No - you should cut him. Maybe pick up a guy like Ponder or Kolb off the WW. I'm sure you'll be better off.
-
They did hold. The replacement officiating crew missed about 489 penalties, on both teams.
-
Can't wait to see what good players will be cut for him in my leagues.
-
Never take 100+ years of rivalry for granted. It's not about magical powers, it's about 2 teams that know each other so well that conventional game plans go out the window.

Forget about FF for a second, and just think about the actual Chicago Bears football team. The hype has been huge this week, and a lot of people and analysts are picking them over Green Bay tonight. Sure they looked good on Sunday, but they were playing the worst team in all of football from last season (and Green Bay played one of the best). If they win tonight, the hype will be deafening, but if they lose will reality finally begin to set in?
-
lol - good luck with this shite offer

Are the Bears as good as touted?

Finally, someone talking some sense. -
The more likely thing to happen would be a Hester punt return TD. He seems to exploit Green Bays weak specials teams every time they play each other.
-
Tell your friends. Spread the word.

IMO this is a must sit game for the Bears DEF. Even the top rated SF Def who did pretty well against GB, didn't score well for FF last week.
-
I don't know what you're waiting for, get this done already before someone else scoops him up.
-
You're obviously sold on CJ - why are you even posting this thread? Go all in on him, start him every week, trade everything you have for him in leagues where you don't already have him.
-
Read the title of your thread. - Would expect very little production out of Benson.

They were much improved over last season, but, don't let the box score fool you. Detroit's WR/TE's dropped a ton of passes. Stafford put up 355, but should easily have cracked 400, and he had 2 TD passes dropped in the end zone. Had Detroit been playing well, this game would have been a blow out. The surprising part was their ability to keep Calvin in check, and Finnegan looked as good as ever.
