According to FOX's Jay Glazer, the Raiders anticipated a 2-4 week absence when Darren McFadden went down with a high-ankle sprain in Week 9. In other words, they've been lying. Coach Dennis Allen refused to publicly rule McFadden out for Week 10 until last Friday, and has avoided providing any sort of a concrete timetable. Glazer's reported timeline is the norm for high-ankle sprains, however, and finally gives us a better idea of when to expect McFadden back. He can be safely ruled out for Week 11, and should be considered doubtful for Week 12. Marcel Reece will be the lead dog in Oakland's backfield against the Saints. Safe to say Marcel Reece has the starting job. Question for me is, should I start him over McGahee at Flex. Mcgahee had fumbling issues last game, so im afraid he will get less carries. Plus SD has good run D, last time McGahee only got 50 something yards

You should do that trade right away without even thinking it. FJackson is getting old and the prospect of Spiller being the starter for the rest of the season and beyond is looking great. Spiller is unquestionably the most talented back in the NFL right now. I wouldnt even give him up.

Can you imagine Spiller taking the place of Arian Foster behind that Texans OLine and playcalling? Scary, scary thought.

Watched some of Taiwan Jones college highlights on youtube... He can be... However, when he ran in college his running lanes, "holes", were way too open. Much tougher in the NFL.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Sunday Countdown that Bills LE Mario Williams played the first seven games with a torn ligament in his left wrist. "He was playing with the equivalent of one arm," Schefter said. Williams underwent surgery during Buffalo's Week 8 bye and is expected to be fine going forward. It does sound like there was a significant injury here, perhaps at least partially explaining Williams' underwhelming first-half production.

Yea, but what if you have a viable alternative. I have Josh Freeman, who is playing the Raiders D, and has been lighting it up. Plus, the Bucs secondaries are so bad that it has to be a shootout. What then? Matt Ryan or Josh Freeman?

I am definitely thinking about starting Freeman over Matt Ryan. Rob Ryan can put together a pretty good game plan and throw Matt Ryan off with some different looks.
