  1. Thanks for your reply to my post....here are my thoughts regarding Gore vs. Seattle: In a nutshell, SIT HIM if you have a better option....

In league #1, keep your lineup as you have it listed (with three WRs). But if you HAVE to choose between Gore and Greene....Gore all the way

    Team #2: Bush and Decker

  2. VJax is at home vs. the Rams. The Rams' young secondary is pretty impressive as is, of course, Cortland Finnegan.

On the other hand, J. Blackmom is at home vs. a poor NE secondary.....and the Jags will likely be playing catch up in the second half of this game.

Could really use your help. And, of course, I will respond to yours.

Thanks.....and good luck to those other teams playing this week!

  3. RB2:

Vick (yeah, I was sure worth the pickup last week) Ballard @ home vs. Cleveland

    or

Ben Tate at home vs. Baltimore (note that I already have AJ and Owen Daniels starting for me....)

    or

    Daryl Richardson

    WR3:

Donnie Avery @ home vs. Clevland

    or

    Josh Gordon vs. Indy

Will respond to yours.....Thanks, and good luck!

  4. I would go with Ballard (start him if you need to) and Green. Ballard had a good preseason, and even when D. Brown returns, it's not as if it will hurt you to throw Ballard back into the WW pool. I was/am in the same predicament. Beyond Charles and Forte (perhaps Tate, when healthy), I have NOTHING at RB. So, being an IDP league, I actually traded Patrick Willis for Ballard. Our league does not require we carry ANY LBs on our squads (DBs and DLs, yes....LBs are merely coded as "D" -- and we start two of them....could be a safety, DB or LB). TONS of adequate IDPs on waivers, NO RBs! Had to do it, and picked up Von Miller to start in PWs place.

    Could use help with mine:

  5. I would give up D. Thomas for R. Mathews if for no other reason than the fact that the running back position is extremely scarce this year. I know Mathews has been losing some carries to Battle, but you have much better luck dropping one of those bum running backs for a decent (granted, not studly) WR on waivers. Maybe somebody like Donnie Avery....I dunno. But I would take the running back.

Would appreciate your help with mine:

  6. But, Ben plays tonight against a pretty bad TEN defense. On the other hand, the Pats have to travel cross country to Seattle - which is a very tough place to play. Now, if anybody can overcome the odds with Seattle's tough D and crowd noise, it's Brady. But I have Ben in my lineup right now.

Anybody out there think I should change my mind??

Will respond to yours if you leave a link

    Thanks

  7. Thank you for responding to mine......

It all comes down to which 2nd year QB you have more trust in....Locker, or Ponder.

Because, your only choice is to drop Washington or Simpson.

I really like Simpson's upside.....I am sorry you have to do this, but I might drop Nate.

  8. The only one that I know is going to play FOR SURE is Bilal Powell (though, he will be sharing time with Shonn Green. LeShoure is questionable and playing a tough MIN defense (this is a PPR league, so he may get a few points there if he plays). Assumedly, K. Smith is his backup if he does not play. Forte plays on Monday night and is a gametime decision.

I guess it comes down to whomever starts for the Lions.....then, of course, there is that Bell dude.

I could use all the help I can get here. Will respond to yours.

    Thanks

  9. Go for the jugular....

    Offer:

    Manning

    Turner

    T. Smith

    Hernandez

    Ask for:

    Alex Smith

    McCoy

    Fitz

Manning's value will never be higher, and you can get a backup TE off of waivers for the ONE week you don't start Graham. If he needs a QB that bad, he might be willing to get ripped off with the above offer. Having said all of that, I am not so sure I would keep RGIII long term over Eli. Your call, though. Eli just seems to be getting better each year. No knock on RGIII at all, but Eli ain't exactly old either.

Now, I could use some advice:

  10. First of all, thank you for responding to my post. With regard to your situation, I think you gain tremendously at WR (yes, Andre is getting older, but he is also getting progressively healthier); however, CJ2k (don't even think we can call him that anymore) is TOAST! So, you lose big at RB, as Trent is going to be a beast.

Does the other owner have another RB he might be willing to include in the deal?

If he doesn't, keep Trent and improve your WR Corps through the waiver wire. We have already seen guys improve their value at that position (Amendola, etc.)....and, who knows, Jerome Simpson might be sitting there for the taking.

Good luck -- and thanks again for responding to my thread.

  11. OK, so this is my second attempt to post on the board. I think I am in the correct room this time around :) In any case, I could use some advice:

With Forte injured, I have lost some firepower at RB in my 12 team league.

I am starting J. Charles as my RB1

    My choices for RB2 are:

    M. LeShoure, DET

    Kevin Smith, DET

    Daryl Richardson, STL

(right now, I have LeShoure plugged in there)

Also, at QB, my choices are:

    Brady (vs. Baltimore)

    or

    Big Ben

I know that the rule of thumb is never to bench your studs (I drafted Brady with the #3 overall pick), but Ben has the much tastier matchup this week.

Any help you could provide will be appreciated, and I will be happy to answer your question in return.

  12. This is my first post on this board. Hoping to get some advice. I actually offered AJ and Charles for CJ and Dez. The owner that I made the offer to claims to have "too many Dallas WRs". My other receivers are R. Wayne, P. Garcon, Julio Jones and Jerome Simpson (Dexter McCluster also qualifies). My other RBs are ALL of the Detroit Rbs (including Best), Forte, and Richardson (from STL). Again, McCluster qualifies at RB also. 12 team league, head to head. Would love some feedback. Thanks in advance. Will respond to yours!
