It was obvious if someone had done their research and looked at last year that he was outside the Top 16 at best as a Fantasy QB and if drafted, should only be a back up for use on the bye week or in case of injury. His last 300 yard passing game was week 6 and weeks 9-16 he had only 1 game over 230 yards passing and had stinkers of 127 and 78 at the end of the season.

He was only saved because the team finished strong at the end of the year. It was a big mistake, There is word going around that if he loses this week, he's gone. That seems odd to me as I can't remember a coach getting fired after 3 games.

In a league assuming its 6 points for a rushing TD and even more so if there are points per rushing attempt, yes in a minute for Pryor.

Bradford is available in a couple of leagues and I am picking him up as back up QB instead of Rivers. I'm still not confident that this is not a mirage long term.

BUT, the Chiefs did a pretty good job on Romo last week taking away the deep ball and they are #6 in the league against Fantasy QBs. Its not that easy. The Colts also gave up a lot of yards running and passing to another running QB in Pryor week 1. As Brutal said, you probably can't go wrong either way, but I would lean to Kaep. Whatever you do, make a decision and don't look back.

But what may prevent a "repeat of last year" in the 2nd half is the team has a new OC who has taken the designed runs out of the offense. His running yards are now not relevant and he is not a good enough passer and he does not have enough WRs and RBs to catch the ball to be an effective passer in Fantasy. We saw that the first 2 games. I think Bradford after the first 2 games is the real deal and am cutting Cam for him (these are 2 QB leagues).

Yes. Bradford after 2 weeks is the real deal and has many more weapons. I didn't think that Shula would do what he did when I drafted him and there was no indication post game yesterday that any changes in strategy are planned. If someone else in the league wants him, they can have him. And about not posting, it may be the others but it will not be moi. I have 8 teams and will be around all the way through the championships.

If so, its a Christmas present for someone else in the league. You invested a draft pick, probably mid round(?) and now someone gets him to nothing, which is cheap even with his injury risk.

When either the stash doesn't seem to have the same potential as we thought pre season or someone comes open on waivers who is either better and/or can make a more immediate impact. I cut Kenny Stills last week for Mike Williams when Williams was cut by someone else.

Now to answer the question here. Rivers has surprised the heck out of me. Whisenhunt seems to have rejuvenated him. But I am still wary. The Texans are good, but he did cool off in the 4th quarter with several 3 and outs which helped Houston come back and eventually win the game. The Eagles D was poor last year and it didn't change any yesterday. If someone has a dreg like Freeman or Weeden(hurt), then Rivers would make sense as a pick up. I would also take him over Ben right now as the situation in Pittsburgh looks really bad going forward. But if you have a Top 16 QB, I'd wait and see at least another week.

And you play in 20 team leagues against 15 grandmas and 4 6 year old kids. Shut your f ing mouth up .

He's for real and he was a big reason I won a championship and finished 2nd in 2 leagues last year. But he's not superman. An RB3 at best and possible flex, especially as we get into the byes. I'm targeting him as waiver pick up in one league to replace Ivory and deciding between him and Bell as my insurance for Reggie Bush and MJD

I have him as a back up on 2 teams, both 2 QB leagues behind Peyton and Romo on 1, Romo and Kaep on the other. These were 11th round draft picks betting on the upside and also TO KEEP HIM AWAY FROM OTHERS IF HE DID GO OFF, which looks golden right now. He hasn't started yet, but he will this week in place of Romo and then I'll play it by ear after that. I am covered for injury risk because I have 4th QB ( Pryor) on each team.
