I'd go Miller and Bell. Play it safe. I think Bell is gonna put up big time numbers this week and Miller is going up against the Raiders run defense. Nuff said, Charles might lose carries to Knile since coming back and if that happens and Charles struggles he might not even play that much
-
I recently lost Charles to that ankle injury, I wasn't able to pick up Knile Davis on the waiver wire as well so I am faced with this dilemma. Do I start Ridley or Vereen against the Raiders? Or do I start both hoping they both have good games against a suspect Raiders defense. I have Donald Brown chilling on the bench and Miller as my other starting back. Post yours and I'll answer. Thanks
-
I'd go with Ridley. That Oakland D has been pretty bad against the run and Ridley's coming off a great game

This is a non-ppr league with standard scoring settings RB1: Ridley RB2: Miller FLEX: Vereen Bench: D. Brown, Sankey, Gerhart I've had my fair share of injuries to my RB already and have lost Charles for who knows how long. Someone else snatched up Knile Davis on the waiver wire so this is what I have to work with. Do you guys think I should change anything up for my RB situation? WR1: Marshall WR2: Sanders WR3: Evans Bench: AJ Green, Steve Smith Do you guys think AJ Green will play this weekend? The only reason I ask is because Evans plays today...and he's playing against a team where his stats will look nice. Or do I take Sanders out, who's going against the Seahawks D? Let me know what you guys think I should do Thanks!!
-
Thanks for the input guys. Anybody else? I'm still kind of iffy on Sanders against Seattle, even though he's been playing well...
-
RB1: Charles RB2: Gerhart FLEX: Vereen bench: Moreno, Lamar Miller, Sankey, Ridley, Evans I want to get Moreno in there, I'm thinking about taking Gerhart out for him. What do you guys think I should do?
-
Standard scoring, non-PPR QB: Wilson RB: Charles, Gerhart WR: Green, Marshall, Sanders TE: Thomas FLEX: Vereen K: Parkey D/ST: Cheifs Bench: RB - Sankey, Ridley, Lamar Miller, Moreno WR - Evans, Steve Smith First, I need some opinions on what to do with my FLEX option. I like Vereen just because he's used as a runner and receiver, and although it's not a PPR league I believe he still gets the job done. But I dunnoooo, do I replace him with one of the guys on my bench? Sankey is an interesting guy but I don't think he deserves the starting nod at this point. What do you guys think? My other thing was, what do I do with this Cheifs defense? I wasn't thinking straight when I took them, their schedule is much tougher than last year's. Do I pick up the Steelers who happen to play the Browns? Other defenses available are the Bills, Saints, Texans, Jets Post yours and I will answer, thanks guys

I'd say Gerhart as well. He's a sure bet to put up points as he's probably going to get 20+ carries

Week 1 roster help -Any ideas welcome all?
sandhu22 replied to Forty Niner Homer's topic in A Little Help!
Sankey or Williams. Decker is interesting against the Raiders defense. But yeah I`d flip a coin between those two -
10 team, non-PPR league QB1: Wilson RB1: Charles RB2: Gerhart WR1: AJ Green WR2: B. Marshall WR3: Sanders TE: J. Thomas FLEX: Vereen D/ST: Chiefs K: Brandon McManus (the guy filling in for Prater) Bench: Lamar Miller, Moreno, Ridley, Sankey, Mike Evans, Steve Smith How's my team guys? I got Gerhart in the 5th round, he's not the guy I was planning to pick as my RB2 but do you guys think he'll be able to carry load? Also thinking about dropping the Chiefs defense for the Steelers(mostly because of the week 1 matchup that's presented against the Browns), would it be a noob move to do that? Thanks

Man that's tough! I think you got the two best wideouts in fantasy football with Calvin and Dez but your RB situation isn't bad but it's not like great either. I would do the deal, here's why: Jordy Nelson is a top 5 WR, I think he's there with guys like Marshall and Green, ask yourself is really that bad of a downgrade? I say no, going from Tier 1 to Tier 2 of a position isn't bad depending on the trade. Man, I have Gerhart as my RB2 as well(Charles is my RB1) and I hate it..unproven and not in a very versatile offense at all. Who knows if he can even handle a 20+ carry workload in the first place? Murray is more proven and is a RB1 in my eyes. Romo will go to him even when the Cowboys defense blows it and they need to fight back to get back into the game. Get that depth, do the deal Here's mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=435767

Yeah honestly I don't think you could go wrong with either one(White or Crabtree), I just find Kaepernick not that great to spread the offense around him, Boldin and Davis. But Crabtree is the most talented guy there, but yeah just flip a coin haha

^ Good looking out! I completely forgot they released their other kicker. Looking like my first waiver claim of the season is going to be a kicker Anybody else have an opinion on my roster?
-
I like Bernard for short term with Rice missing the first two games, solid FLEX option if you need him. And if Rice struggles this season again that would make Pierce even more valuable. Long term though, and to be safe, I'd say Hillman is the guy to keep. I like Ball but I don't really think he's gonna be the lead back there, if he struggles there even like 2-3 games Hillman could be given a bigger chance as maybe even a lead back or could work them as a committee. If you're confident with your current starting line up these next two weeks though then just hang on to Hillman. I like him as well and am thinking about dropping Ridley for him

I'd go with Roddy White and Rashad Jennings. For the WR I don't think you could go wrong though, just flip a coin. Crabtree plays one of the worst defenses in the league in the Cowboys and White is just a better fantasy wideout with a better QB. RB is where I think it gets tough..Rashad Jennings has been great from last season when he got the starting nod to what he's been doing this preseason. Only problem is he's going up against that Detroit lions rush defense which is pretty good. Johnson however goes up against the Raiders..its week 1 though it is tough to decide but I would go with Jennings, just see how it pans out

Trade: Sproles + Ebron for Bradshaw + Torrey Smith
sandhu22 replied to 49erGold's topic in A Little Help!
I like the Sproles + Ebron for Smith + Bradshaw. You have RB depth but if T-Rich struggles(which is likely to happen) you have his handcuff in Bradshaw. Do the deal -
I like your starting bunch it looks real good with no weaknesses. Maybe the only question mark about your starting line up could be Witten but we say that every year, he's probably going to have another good year. Speaking about TE I don't really like Miller that much(not a bad pick or anything) but he's your bench guy. Overall pretty good team, barring any injuries I think you have a good chance at being a force in your league with that three headed monster of Rodgers, Charles and Jones

10 team, non-PPR league, standard scoring settings QB1: Wilson RB1: Charles RB2: Gerhart WR1: AJ Green WR2: B. Marshall WR3: Sanders TE: J. Thomas FLEX: Vereen D/ST: Chiefs K: Brandon McManus (the guy filling in for Prater, plenty of solid kickers still available via free agency if it goes south) Bench: Lamar Miller, Moreno, Ridley, Sankey, Mike Evans, Steve Smith (I made a thread for my team, didn't see this till now)

***The Official Seattle Seahawks 2013 Season Thread***
sandhu22 replied to phillybear's topic in FFToday Board
YEAH SEAHAWKS BABY! What a performance, I don't think there's any reason why we can't do the same next year as well Could anyone find/get me a picture of that Turbo shot where he's staring at the camera with the front page of the newspaper in his hand? -
I'd go with Douglas, seems like he's been a very consistent receiver this year with an experienced QB. Last week wasn't good for him but he's been a solid dose of points all season long. Regardless, going with Garcon or Douglas is a good move. Hilton...I don't know. Jonathan Joseph is seeking revenge and he's been great these past few weeks. Bottom line: I'd go with Douglas, but don't beat yourself up about leaving Garcon in there
-
T.Y. Hilton vs Bengals in Cincinnati or Tiquan Underwood vs. Bills in Tampa Bay? It's a 3 WR League, my other starters are D. Thomas and Torrey Smith, I got Percy Harvin on the bench hoping he would be healthy by now
-
I'm in a 2-QB league format, I have 4 QBs on my roster and they are Luck, Kaepernick, McCown and Fitzpatrick. Which two do I start? I'm already thinking McCown is a lock given his matchup and performance these past few weeks but I'm having a hard time deciding between the other guys... Kaep vs. Seahawks in San Fran Luck vs. Bengals in Cincy Fitz vs. Broncos in Denver Thanks guys
-
I think you gotta ride the guy with the hot hand..which is tough considering both QBs have been good these past few weeks. I'd say go with Wilson though, the Saints defense has been pretty good this season and he dissected them rather easily
-
Bobby Rainey vs. Detroit Lions or Shane Vereen vs. Denver Broncos? I also have Stevan Ridley as my RB so would it be good to just handcuff him with Vereen in the lineup?
