    I'm finding it difficult putting Thomas in over Reggie Bush. Bush is more of a threat in the passing game, the Bears are weaker against the pass, and despite last week it's what the Saints do best. If Thomas wasn't getting goal line this would be a no-brainer to me. But when has Bush ever gotten goal line? People are quick to point out Thomas one game against Chicago last year, but hasn't Bush scored a TD in like 80% of his games or something sick like that?

    I'd just like to point out that Stephen Davis' "famous year" was 1999 where he totaled 1500+ yards and 17TDs, while Bettis' "famous year" was 1996 where he went for 1550/11.

     

    LenWhale has been a decent play for many fantasy owners this year due to his TDs, but he has definitely not been better than Stephen Davis or Jermome Bettis in their primes.

     

    Stats don't lie, the people who use them do. HTH!

     

     

    Geez....Who said he was better than Davis or Bettis in their prime?

     

    He's comparing the years when they racked up a bunch of TD's as goal line backs to what LenWhale is doing this year.

    Not sure if you guys actually saw the play. Cards came out with a passing package and personnel, which was the reason Arrington was able to walk in. My guess is in 1st and goal from the 1 or 2 it would have been a Hightower dive, which wasn't terribly successful the last time couple of times they tried it.

    I know. Kind of. He threw in Edge and me, McClain. He didn't need to make a trade with Rogers and Schaub, I did. Because of bye weeks and Romo's injury I needed to make a trade for a QB who had already had their bye. I needed a QB to get me by for Week 7, 8, 9 and 10 and Schaub's schedule was enticing. I actually initiated the trade but asked for MJD and he said no and gave me Edge. Seems like a bad trade now but it worked out well until Schaub got hurt. I went 1-1 in Week 7 and won Week 8 and 9. This would have been Schaub's/Warners last game for me and then Romo the rest of the way. Funny thing, I play the guy this week. He is starting Warner over Rogers. Ouch.

     

    You should probably consider starting Warner over Romo anyway. Really bad move.

    I can trade Ryan Grant adn Dwayne Bowe for Michael Turner & Vincent Jackson.

     

    I am inclinded to do it but I am a little concerned with Turner's tough end-of-season schedule (@NO, TB, @MIN).

     

    Already have Barber & Lendale White @RB and Brandon Marshall & Desean Jackson @ WR.

    10 Team league, 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1te, 1k, 1dst in starting lineup.

     

    I would do it now. A half-Turner right now is still better than Grant. And VJ is a huge improvement over Bowe due to offenses.
