apparently there's a very fine line between a self-righteous and honorable.Every team/coach/owner/organization has crossed the line at one time. If you think yours hasn't, then YES, it is self righteous.
This thread was started by a Cowboys fan for god's sake. The same team that George Allen used to have to chase spies out of the trees during practice sessions.
-
Non pat fan. I would take Belichick in a heartbeat. Would have to be a self-righteous moron not to.
-
As long as they aren't trading back I don't see how it's collusion. The guy traded a better D for a D that had a good matchup that particular weekend.

As someone who went thru the SA-MoMo nightmare last year, save yourself some and look elsewhere.

Smith Owner.I don't own either. I just can't see Priest Holmes being very effective at all. He had lost several steps BEFORE the injury that all but ended his career. And that was two years ago and with a MUCH better O-line!
As far as Smith's upside, it might be as thin as a dime, but IMO that is still better than Priest's. Smith is young and might soon be the ONLY upright option for the Chiefs if Priest's comeback goes like I think it will.
-
I'll believe it when I see it.
Personally I think Smith has much more upside.

For it to be 90% luck would mean that all your owners are equally knowledgeable, prepared and motivated. If they are then it's closer to 100% luck.

Moss has a 1 year deal.Exactly. Before putting Moss and Brady into top-5 discussion, we should hold off and see if the Pats want to pay Moss. I'm hearing if they wanted him past this year it would have made more fiscal sense to sign him before this year's deadline....that tells me there's a good chance they do what they always do and cut loose of the big contract.
-
It has sucked for so long I can barely remember when it was good.
-
Wow is all I can say thereWow good, or wow bad?
I love the deal, but a starting RB is tough to part with.
-
I just traded him for desperatlely needed WR help -- I got Santonio Holmes.
In case anyone else was curious what you could get for EG
-
Just curious what people are getting for him.
-
He fockin sucks... he might get the bulk of the load, but he won't do nothing with it.... Just dropped his sorry @ssI saw him run tonight and I turned to a friend and said "that wasn't Taylor was it?"
He didn't look half as washed up as I thought he was.
He's had a couple of long runs this season, just no goal line love. Don't think he's scored a TD in six years.

Hideous decision

Reminds me of George Carlin's bit "Rape Can Be Funny"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3av_qRR_DWc
The Eskmo rapist part is classic.

I was stocked at WR and hurting at RB. Last Wednesday I traded Reggie Wayne for Marshawn Lynch.
So I feel good about him
-
Leave it to the Bucs to go shopping for a less talented running back than what they already have.
-
I'm not sure even Gruden knows for sure yet...I think you're right

I picked up Graham instead of Pittman Week 3 after Caddy left the game early (again). I might have overreacted to his second half performance, but I thought Graham looked very good, as he did this week against the Panthers, and seems they call his number around the goal line more than Pittman.
Maybe I'll regret the decision, but isn't Pittman like 45 years old?
-
Can anyone on here tell me when a healthy WR ever put up numbers like last year and then regressed to Evans current numbers?Chambers in 2005 was a top receiver and the first few games in '06 was virtually invisible. He ended up with a pretty average season.
-
You are insane to play in a league where someone would cut Lee Evans after 3 games. That would have been my response too. But sure enough, yesterday the Evans owner in our league cuts him. I couldn't believe it.
What's funny is I play the owner this week, and my WR2 has a bye week. I'm thinking about picking him and starting him.
-
Wow.. I wish Sean Payton was as bright as you are. He's right. Payton needs Bush to look at film on Westbrook.
-
I haven't watched much of him, but his stats vs. some of the best defenses in the league are excellent.
For those who have seen him run, what do you think his value is from here, particularly with the change in QBs (could be good or bad). It's likely they will be playing from behind a lot as well.

People have short memories. OU plays in the biggest cupcake conference in the nation. Then they get destroyed by teams like LSU and USC in the title game. Everyone is in awe when they run up 60+ on Tulsa, it's unbelievable how many years we fall for this.
Remember that year people like Herbstreit were calling them the "greatest college football team ever" then they lose to Kstate in the Big 12 title game and then allowed into the national championship game over USC where they were smacked down.
would you take Bill B. for your coach

So believing most teams/players do whatever it takes to win is cynicism? lol. You probably thought it was cynicism if someone had said before this season that the Patriots were stealing signals.
