  1. 14 team league non-PPR yardage league, we start 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Def, and one Flex RB/WR/TE. Scoring is 4 pt QB TD, 6 pt everyone else TD, 1 pt per 50 passing yards, 1 pt per 25 rush/receive combined yards. Special teams TDs scored to individual players, not the team Def. Here's my lineup with Starter in bold:

    QB: Fitzgerald, Bradford, Hoyer, Sanchez

RB: Hill, Ivory, Ingram (placed on IR after end of reg season, no p/u in playoffs)

    WR: Marshall, Thomas, Landry, Adams

    TE: Gates, Walker

    K: Gano, VInatieri

    D: KC

The only real dillemas I have is whether to bench Ivory for Hill at RB, as I'm inclined to do, and whether I should start Ivory or Walker in place of Landry at my flex spot.

I've been rolling with 3 Jets for the last few weeks but that always makes me nervous, which is why I'm leaning towards Hill over Ivory. But with McCarron at QB, will the Cincy offense stink it up?

Landry is a KR/PR guy, in addition to being a target magnet, so I'm leaning his way but I'm also thinking I need to find a way to get both Gates and Walker into my lineup. I keep missing on which TE to start, they both are producing but more often than not the one who scores the most is on my bench.

My gut tells me that my RBs are really weak so I should only start one of them.

  2. We prohibit FA pickups in the playoffs except in the following circumstance(s):

    • Pick-ups in playoffs allowed only if all players on the owner’s roster at a position are injured and can't play (ruled as OUT or on IR on the official NFL injury report); if this condition is met, one free pick-up per player meeting above conditions is allowed. Dropped player can't be picked up again.

So, if you only have one QB and he's listed as OUT or on IR, you can make an emergency pickup. But, if he's Questionable or Doubtful, you're screwed. If someone had only Rawls and Blount on their roster, they could make pickups for one or both.

We also use bench players (rank three in order of who you think will score the most that week) to break ties in the playoffs, so it encourages teams to have more than one player at a position on their roster.

  3. I seriously hate this scrub. 28yds against the worst run D in the league? Oh ya, 16 of those yards were on his first carry. Why does this loser keep getting ranked so high?

^^^ This is why you wait until the end of the game before you dog on a player. Years ago I won a FFL game b/c SD RB Rod Bernstine scored 3 4th Q TDs.

  4. Information like the Chargers run D stinks and is a great match-up for West? :dunno:

Yes, that was good information. if West doesn't tweak his hammy he likely has 100+ yards and 2 TDs, given the performance from his backup (not Davis, btw).
