Teams that drop their handcuffs during bye weeks?
Fozapd replied to $epphori$'s topic in FFToday Board
Joseph randle would do more given an injury to Murray because Dallas offensive line creates holes. Blue is mediocre a guy who given the job might give you 60-80 yards - just not as much talent IMO No one else? -
With all the bye weeks and a large demand for RBs in general. Who do you think has the most long term upside with a decent chance for points this week? Charles Sims: Great long term; but not sure how quick he will be worked in Taliaferro: Forsett should be back, but he looks to get the goal line work Jonas Gray: numbers look great but I'm skeptical of NE RBs Deangelo Williams: Not exciting but will earn you a few points Carlos Hyde: Probably get 10-15 touches this week and is a Gore injury away from top 20 numbers Tre Mason: Looks amazing but not getting enough touches - long term love him for the talent Isiah Crowell: Keeping reading they want to get him the ball, but it never seems to happen. Travis Cadet: PPR note worthy, but not sure that earns him more than 10 points in any given week Zak Stacey: Available - but not exciting or getting enough work I'm leaning towards Jonas Gray for a bye week replacement but Sims and Taliaferro are intriguing. There is part of me that says take a steady performer like Deangelo and accept a measly 5-7 points. Long term success I still like Mason followed by Hyde. How do you rank these guys?

I went with Jonas gray as I think he has a better chance at points this week. Sims would be my choice if this was a stash but due to bye week players I needed someone this week.

It's worth the shot to add Calvin to the mix Rb:Murray Wr1:DT Wr2:Antonio brown Flex1: Calvin Johnson Flex2: Josh Gordon (or Ingram)

Originally I planned on riding the injuries out but ball doesn't sound like he has the job waiting for him anymore with hillman doing so well. Matthews may but Oliver has looked good enough that I feel like it will be a dreaded rbbc. Are they safe to drop in favor of Bryce brown, tre mason, and denard Robinson? Leaning towards cutting ball and putting in a claim for mason then brown - thoughts?

I play in 4 leagues and I set my expectation level appropriately. I generally hope to go 3-1 with the 4 teams. If I go 1-3, I may be slightly annoyed but remember as much as we all like to think we are guru's - we are NOT! Do we know more than most people - yes, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be 100% right. Am I right more often than not? Thankfully yes but I'd be lying if I said all my teams were undefeated and dominating the league. I have 3 teams in first and one team in last (this one is tough to swallow - but happens).

I cut Cunningham for him this morning on a hunch. Glad I did
-
With Oliver looking so good and Matthews not even running yet, is Ryan Matthews worth a roster spot? I added him a week ago but starting to think it might be a wrong move. Hyde is available so I'm thinking of cutting him loose.
-
Who was your kicker last week? Did you already cut him for a free agent? If not cut the kicker
-
Ellington has a nice schedule over the next few but I believe his playoff schedule is tough. Still go with Ellington as Oliver isn't a guarantee in like 2-3 weeks
-
You have to like McKinnon at this point. I mean he's slowly working asiata out of the picture. If I'm the Vikings, I want to know what I have with McKinnon or will rb be an area of need in the off season. His skills are supposedly off the chart
-
I'll be honest I lost a lot of confidence in him last week. I'm also tempted to throw him out there but I have a feeling I'll regret it
-
I prefer Cutler over Brady. Cutler has been consistent all season.
-
Bears marched down field on the falcons with ease. Marshall and Jeffery are both great wr but also great blockers. Marshall had a nice block on a 10 yard screen to Jeffery. I think if all are healthy it makes forte cutler and both wrs more valuable

Sounds like possible collusion, but considering it's her backup qb and manning already had his bye week it's kind of a fair enough deal. Joique bell is capable of good numbers if bush contines to miss time but it looks like riddick gets touches too. I wouldn't have traded rivers for bell unless I was desperate for a rb .
-
I love his upside this week. I may be dreaming but I see 80-100 yards and 1-2 tds.
-
What do you expect from J Bell today if Bush is out?
Fozapd replied to $epphori$'s topic in FFToday Board
I grabbed him when he was cut a little over a week ago. Now he will most likely grab a helmet and start for my team over Welker at flex. It's all depends on bush being inactive. If bush plays I probably switch to Welker -

I'm on fanduel otherwise I'd do it -
Le'veon bell in the 4th was a steal! (Right after arrest) McLain around 8th ( I draft with eagles fans do it prides me to find a gem on their own team) Kelvin Benjamin after 10th Steve smith in the 10th of a 16 teamer

Great now you tell me! [as I zipper up my pants]

Ellington is starting to look better with Stanton returning. He has the easier schedule coming up but McCoy will end up with more points at the end of year. Ultimately you need to make a decision - and it sounds like you need to win now - will they happen with McCoy? Possibly but Ellington will most likely score more over the next four game stretch.
-
Assuming you have players go into a 3 day waiver period, you could make the move to reed and see what he looks like - worse case grab vd on waivers for your kicker or defense and buy yourself some more time to figure out the situation.

Lamar Miller - What are we doing with him?
Fozapd replied to Captain Goomy Noomy Roo's topic in FFToday Board
Gronkowski - which is looking better after week 5. I grabbed miller as a free agent and flipped him for gronkowski. That's a win for me! -
I disagree strongly - I think Stacy is ineffective and they work Cunningham in more. I could see Cunningham grabbing 5 receptions and getting like 10 carries.
-
I'd take McCoy - you have to be honest with yourself - Ellington is a nice RB, but he isn't top 10 IMO. Last week would have sucked if not for the 80 yard reception. You will not get that play on most weeks. Add in the uncertainty at QB for Arizona and I'd do it. Worst case it backfires and your team continues to lose games - best case you get a 2nd half stud RB and make the playoffs. At 1-4 you need to roll the dice.
