Winston - This isn't even a question, in my book. The New Orleans defense is nothing compared to Denver's, and I think Winston will be throwing to Evans all day long. Forte - I know that it is hard to go against DeMarco Murray, but I really think that Forte is the correct play. Again, Murray is going against one of the top defenses in the league. And even though the Jets are pretty much toast as far as the post-season is concerned, I think Forte will perform well against a 49'ers defense that is basically mush. Bengals - Better defense than Atlanta's plus they are going up against the inept and win-less Browns... a division rival whom Cincinnati always takes special pride in being able to beat the hell out of.

Fiedorowicz or Walker Playoff TE
Poker Joker replied to Captain Goomy Noomy Roo's topic in A Little Help!
I would go with C.J. I know that Mariota has been good, and that Walker always has the potential to make some huge plays, but the Denver D/ST scares me. Fiedorowicz may not always have the big play threat behind him, but he one of Brock's favorite targets and he's playing against a suspect Colt's defense. -
That was the way I was leaning, too. The Jets D/ST was tempting to me, though, due to that 49'ers match-up. other opinions?

Jordan Matthews will probably miss the Bengals-Eagle game, today. Who do I replace him with? Will Fuller vs Grewn Bay Allen Robinson vs Denver Marquis White vs San Francisco Travis Benjamin vs Tampa Bay
-
That is my fault. It should be Marques Wilson; not White. That is what happens when you are in line at the coffee shop and typing in a hurry.
-
Dixon. Terrance West just face two easy defenses, and he looked mediocre at best. I think Dixon is going to start seeing more use, especially in passing situations. By the time next year rolls around, I think he'll probably supplant West as the starter in Baltimore.

If Maclin is out, I'd go with Hill.

C-Mike Now Dropable? Prosise/Rawls
Poker Joker replied to Captain Goomy Noomy Roo's topic in FFToday Board
I had a guy offering me C-Mike for Ajayi straight up after Ajayi's first 200+ rush game. I thought I could've gotten more, and now I'm definitely glad I passed on it. -
Was the guy on the radio named axe elf? He totally blew it.

Here are my flex options for this week: Duke Johnson vs Pittsburgh CJ Fiedorowicz vs Oakland Tyreek Hill vs Tampa Bay Kendall Wright vs Inianapolis Who should I start? (League is 1/2 ppr)
-
Neither one is a great option, but ESPN is saying to use Fleener because of the match-up.
-
Newton! You can't pass up a match-up against a weak D like New Orleans.
-
I'd go with Crowder. Carolina is decent against the run.
-
What does the rest of your roster look like? Off hand, unless you have some other solid WR's, I'd keep Maclin. Yes, he's currently hurt, but he and Kelce are easily the top targets for Alex Smith when they are both healthy. Meredith may see a rise in looks since Jeffry is suspended for 4 games, but that may not translate into more points since he and Cutler don't seem to click. And even if it does result in more points from Meredith, I think it would only be temporary.
-
If Maclin is out, I'd go with Kelce. He already sees a ton of targets, and missing Maclin would mean he'll probably see even more.
-
Sanders and ingram would be what I'd offer. I think Landry-Ingram is a bit too much, even for the likes of Hilton.
-
I think Houston has a better defense than New Orleans does, so I'd run with Newton.
-
I would do the latter of the two trades. The way Crabtree has been playing, I don't think Cooks is as much of an upgrade over him. You'll get better value dumping off Snead and Smith for Riddick.
-
I get Matthews He gets Duke and Travis Benjamin Take it or not?
-
Keep Duke Johnson or picks up Kenneth Dixon?
Poker Joker replied to oppie00's topic in A Little Help!
Terrance West looked mediocre at best against a shoddy Cleveland defense. I could now see Dixon starting to get a bigger chunk of the pie thanks to this. Grab him. -
My team currently looks like this: QB: Cousins & Flacco RB: Ajayi, McCoy, T. West, M. Jones, Dixon, Duke. WR: Evans, T. Benjamin, Robinson, Fuller, Wright TE: Ebron, Fiedorowicz K: Novak DEF: Jets (currently) Any suggestions on areas I should improve on to make a solid playoff run?
-
Other opinions? I have hosed myself with trades that backfired.
-
I would hate to give up Stewart, but you DO need some help at wide-out. I'd do it, but if you're not sold on Dez Bryant, I would definitely shop Stewart around and see if you can get another top-notch receiver.
-
Miller, Ware, and Stewart. I hate Gurley's chances against the Jets D.
-
The only one I would maybe switch out is Montgomery for Benjamin, however that's more of a personal thing. I just haven't bought into Montgomery as a regular option, yet. otherwise, I think you are on the right track.
