What is your take ? Dad defending his (adult) son ? Does this embarrass Anthony ? Father should expect this behavior especially on the road. (BTW from what I hear is Yankee fans are killing Volpe at the stadium so maybe Mr Volpe ahkod not go to home games either.). WFAN hosts all have different opinions.

This How many guys get to say his son hit a grand slam in the World Series and has a bobble head give away in Yankee Stadium coming up.

I went to Camden with 5 other friends and we had our share of drinks but the crowd around was also hammered and couldn’t take us rooting against the O’s. We were super respectful when it came to language but we were getting death threats - meet in parking lot requests etc. Finally security came up to us and asked us to leave - we were like we are not doing anything wrong and there is no basis to kick us out. They said they are not kicking us out but asking us to leave because they are not staffed to protect us. We didn’t leave.

I knew it was 8/12/94 and I guess I didn’t remember the actual days. The Red Sox game was definitely on a Sunday. Either way - sucks didn’t get to follow that up (took pictures in front of empty Wrigley Field. ).

I told this story before. 1994 saw Red Sox double header in Boston on a Sunday in mid August. Had a business road trip scheduled to Rockford IL. Lined up tickets to Wrigley/Jacob/Cominsky - don’t remember order but that Tuesday MLB went on strike !
