I would never just punt lineups during the season. But the truth is my team is not great, so it would simply be a matter of choosing players here and there that might have a matchup, etc. And you are right about rookies – they are obviously crapshoot – but in my league, I keep rookies for an extra year Compared to other players and if they hit, you’ve got a great starter at a low cost. The guy currently in last place is even worse than me so there’s probably almost no chance of me even being able to get the top spot in the rookie draft anyway, barring obvious . I guess I just wanted to know if I should go that direction or go all out to try to just make the playoffs and see if I can make some hay.
