GB didn't really give Philly the opportunity to "bring the house", at least not in the first half as Favre was getting rid of the ball in like one tenth of a second for the 4 and 5 yard throws. Interesting gameplan..may have worked if they had had Ahman in there...oh and something resembling a defensive secondary would have helped. Without the running game or the defense though, it was just a matter of time before McNabb hit them deep a couple times, forcing them to change their approach. Bledsoe will not be releasing the ball that quick and how the Cowboys line (possibly minus Gurode?) handles the pressure that will surely be coming will probably be the main determinant in who wins this game. Watch the injury report for the Eagles secondary if you want but I think regardless of the opposing personnel Glenn has become someone you start every week at this point. Should be a great game. The worst part will be all the T.O. talk but there simply is no way around that.

I've never liked Foster nor thought he was a good fit for the Panther's offense. They would be better off with Williams.

I would go with Glenn. He is the go to guy for Bledsoe until Owens proves otherwise. In fact, Owens will likely draw coverage away from Glenn.

I would start Driver over Stallworth. Donte may need a little time to learn the system. Driver is sure to be Favre's go to guy.

Agree with Dr.Gonzo...no way anyone accepts that trade. SJax is currently a consensus top 10 back with many people saying top 5. You should offer either Bell or Taylor along with TonyG and he might go for it, although I still wouldn't. Offer up Bell while his perceived value is still good...there is no telling which rb will be starting in Denver from week to week and you will be better off not having to try and read Shanny's mind.

I agree. Bledsoe was excellent last year and should be even more productive this year. Potentially a top 5 qb. I like Delhomme a lot also, you really cant go wrong with either one but I expect Bledsoe, Owens and Company to really come out smoking in the opener.

Like you said, Williams is not even starting so you cant really justify putting him in there. Will he get 5 touches? 10? We dont really know. Bryant is talented but his qb sucked really bad last year. Preseason hype says Smith and Bryant are all that but they'll have to prove it in a game that counts for my money. Samie Parker? Again, unproven and speculative. First game of the season, go with the proven commodity, the starting rb. Certainly he has a tough matchup and some questions to answer but there is absolutely no way I would sit him for one of those other three. Not at this point.

I would definitely start Driver. Favre will probably be under heavy pressure all day, get sacked a lot and throw a couple picks, but he'll also complete quite a few passes and Driver is going to be the likely recipient. At qb, I dont like any of your options. Leftwich is probably your safest pick of the three but if it were me I would gamble on Favre.

East Carolina +12.5 vs Navy $200 WINNER! What a weird game...Navy had only 6yds passing but over 400 rushing. ECU had about 300 passing and about 70 rushing....Pirates are much improved from last couple years, nice way to start off the wagering season!

With Jones named the starter, his value is fairly high right now. I feel he will be solid this year. He may be wanting some qb help at this time. Maybe you can swap Brady for Jones if you feel Eli can be your #1. Otherwise you'll probably have to give up a #1 WR. His team is pretty good.

Not only are the Panthers the best team in the division, they are the best team in the NFC. Tampa bunghole has got to be raw right about now...
