With all the noxious rhetoric thrown around here daily, my thread suggesting a way to improve this cesspool is the one that gets deletored? One of you has really thin skin. You would not have lasted a week here ten years ago.

"Blind Side" subject Michael Oher says family scammed him

Said he was never adopted and didn't get anything for the movie while Tuohys and their kids made millions -
Interesting takes Dude seems really smart, unsure of himself in some instances, but generally pretty confident about his ideas. A few things stand out as red flags and potential pain points his competition could conceivably exploit: He voted as a 19 year old in 2004, then didn't vote for a President again until 2020. Voting is a patriotic duty, can you claim the mantle of American patriot having voted in only 20% of the elections you could have? He has no political experience,, and although he's generating excitement among Republicans, campaigning and governing are two different things. Is the Presidency again going to be on the job training? Pardoning Trump is going to be a hard sell to independent and swing voters. Cozying up to conspiracy theories about January 6th and 9/11 works well with the deep base, but you start talking about government agents working the crowd on January 6th, you will be dismissed by a large segment of the voters you need. Getting rid of some inefficient government agencies is a good idea, but what do you replace the CIA, FBI, IRS, EPA, etc with? His ideas for what to do post-these agencies are limited at best. He's essentially a libertarian running as a Republican. Libertarians are popular at this stage of campaigns (Ron Paul, anyone?) because their fock the government stance is what people want to hear, especially when their party is not in charge. Tear it all down is not a viable governing philosophy. He's worth a look, but I can't imagine that he's someone who would even be on anyone's radar in a normal election cycle without Trump.

Yeah, I’m going to have a discussion with you two jokers. When pigs fly.

It's overshadowed by the pro-child mutilation platform.

You cared enough to post, sweetcheeks.

Not many of us here, good job.
-
What for? You guys have your mind made up on what I think based on how I vote.
-
-
I've never said that's what I think.
-
Like I said. You guys all love the Republican party at this point in the cycle. Then you'll get pissed when they don't ever give you what you want, but you've staked your claim in a losing effort because so few people actually support what you stand for, a third party option is not viable. Congrats, I guess?

Then quit following me around like a puppy, Nancy.

Jon's not the sharpest tool in the shed.
-
Sure you are. You're on here every day railing against Democrats because you're an independent.
-
I already said I've been around forever but was permabanned in 2016 for reasons unknown. Nobody's guessed who I am yet.
-
I wouldn't expect you to get that. It wasn't really for you. That being said, I generally need a Red Bull or cup of coffee at this point in the afternoon even though I'm awake. Tired.

I'll go with "What a nightposter would say".

The whataboutism is strong with this group.

You're not the one he has to sell the ideas to.

The Mediterranean diet is mostly plant based with lots of fish.
-
Probably because the healthiest diets according to experts are mostly plant-based. The only animal protein in that top ten is fish, and some lists break it down even further to just say salmon. Eggs have definitely rebounded from their reputation as having too much cholesterol, and are good as far as animal protein goes.

Because you have a closed mind

I think your sarcasm radar needs some adjustment.

Why is there so much anti-gay hatred? Woman shot and killed for having a rainbow flag in her store.

Two things I think here: He probably won't ever be President, and if he is, that's not something he can do unilaterally.
