She is a badass. -
So what? She brought in some National Guard, thought it was enough, and she was wrong. Grossly and Incompetently wrong. Got it. The decision NOT to send in the National Guard… one of the most important decisions of the Trump presidency… was on the Commander in Chief. Trump failed to send the National Guard. Own it.

The House sergeant-at-arms, does report to Pelosi. Just like the Senate sergeant-at-arms, reports to the leading Republican member of the Senate, Mitch McConnell. But the is no indication ANYWHERE that Pelosi or McConnell prevented either SAA from requesting NG assistance. This is just another lie, started by McArthy and propagated by Fox News and other lying liars… like Jon. Steven A. Sund, then-U.S. Capitol Police chief, Paul D. Irving, then-House sergeant-at-arms, and Michael C. Stenger, then-Senate sergeant-at-arms, have all testified about the events of Jan. 6, and none of them insinuated that they were prevented from calling the National Guard by congressional leadership. Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser also requested for the National Guard to be called in during the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. ALL THESE REQUESTS were denied by the pentagon. Not freaking all-super-powerful Nancy Pelosi. The chain of command at the pentagon goes like this: The Commanding General of the D.C. National Guard is subordinate solely to the President of the United States. This authority to activate the D.C. National Guard has been delegated, by the President, to the Secretary of Defense and further delegated to the Secretary of the Army. I mean, to put this on Pelosi is simply an embarrassingly weak distraction to keep from exposing the incompetence and corruption of Trump and his goofball administration.

Why do you think it took so long for the Sec Def to approve?

Ah. Jon The Fascist, spreading his hate and lies as he yells at clouds. Lick them boots Jonny boy… lick ‘em up you ass kissing follower. Edward Vallejo got off easy for his seditious crimes against our great nation. F- Edward Vallejo and all his seditious buddies. Enjoy prison M'er F'er! The Oath Keepers Indictment During J6 Edward Vallejo was seven miles away at the Comfort Inn Ballston, in Arlington, Virginia, which was the location that the Oath Keepers QRF (Quick Reaction Force) would use as its base of operations for January 6, 2021. One room at the Ballston Comfort Inn was occupied by the North Carolina QRF team; the second room was occupied by the Arizona QRF team, including VALLEJO; the third room was occupied by the Florida QRF team. These QRF teams used the rooms to store and guard the firearms that they and other co-conspirators contributed to the QRF. 62. Between January 1 and 5, 2021, RHODES, MEGGS, HARRELSON, WATKINS, JAMES, HACKETT, MOERSCHEL, ULRICH, VALLEJO, and other co-conspirators transported firearms, ammunition, and related items to the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. 69. On January 5, 2021, MEGGS, HARRELSON, HACKETT, MOERSCHEL, CALDWELL, and others provided the QRF, including VALLEJO, with firearms, ammunition, and related items. 71. VALLEJO and others were on standby at the Comfort Inn Ballston, monitoring communications from the co-conspirators on the ground inside Washington, D.C., and awaiting a call to bring the weapons to the co-conspirators 86. At 2:24 p.m., while staged at the Comfort Inn Ballston, VALLEJO messaged the Leadership Signal Chat, "Vallejo back at hotel and outfitted. Have 2 trucks available. Let me I 'know how I can assist." 96. At 2:38 p.m., VALLEJO messaged the Leadership Signal Chat, "QRF standing by at hotel. Just say the word ..."

I believe this is the only federal law that says insurrection specifically: 18 U.S.C. § 2383 - U.S. Code - Unannotated Title 18. Crimes and Criminal Procedure § 2383. Rebellion or insurrection -Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.- That’s the law in its entirety.

From FindLaw: Rebellion or Insurrection The United States became a nation in an act of rebellion against the British Crown. After winning the Revolutionary War, it passed its own law prohibiting rebellion or insurrection. Although the law is rarely invoked, it carries serious penalties. The following article provides an overview of the federal crime of rebellion and insurrection and how it differs from sedition and treason. - Insurrection: An act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government. This distinguishes the crime from sedition, which is the organized incitement to rebellion or civil disorder against the authority of the state. It also separates the crime from treason, which is the violation of allegiance owed to one's country by betrayal or acting to aid the country's enemies.

It appears that you posted a law that gives the President certain authority to suppress an insurrection… An interesting topic, for sure. But I was questioning this that you said: “You know, in order to be charged with insurrection there has to be a reasonable belief that the alleged insurrectionists can actually pull it off.” So, I don’t know if the cops can show up at your house with a warrant for “Insurrection.” Again, there may be such a law…
-
I don’t believe there is a crime called “insurrection.” I think Seditious Conspiracy is the closest, but I don’t know for sure.

Had to google her. Sounds like a fraudster. Would make an interesting thread if you’d care to start one.
-
Sounds like you’re ready to forgive and forget an attempted insurrection.

F- Enrique Tarrio. He is right where he belongs.

I’m sorry man, but that is not rotting in jail. That’s being held accountable for your crimes. She has paid her tiny pittance to society and hopefully doesn’t do something so stupid in the future.
-
Was what? Rotting in jail? He’s already out and running for Congress! F- his candy ass! He did, what 2 years? And part of that was in a half way house.
-
Please name one J6 defendant that is rotting in jail for a non-violent conviction. Epps was a small time J6er who deserved his slap on the wrist.

You’re welcome. Here is a pretty good summary: Summary of Oral Arguments in Trump Immunity Hearing
-
Trump lawyer Sauer ends where he began: arguing case law supports the claim that a president is never examinable by courts. bof sidz?
-
NOTABLE: Both Judges Pan and Childs seem to think this appeal may not be valid at all and they may have to send the case back to the trial court. Both Trump and DOJ oppose that and want the court to decide the immunity issue on the merits.
-
James Pearce, arguing for Jack Smith's office, says no former president in U.S. history until now has claimed immunity from prosecution that extends after he left office, and the court should not recognize a novel immunity in a case of a president accused of committing crimes to try to stay in office after losing an election.
