Based on audio and visual observations, senior leaders at the Pentagon were hesitate to deploy National Guardsmen to the Capitol due to “optics” of how that would look. Senior leaders expressed their desire for LEOs to clear out the Capitol and for LEOs to do law enforcement functional duties. Eventually after two hours, National Guardsmen were deployed to the Capitol guards.

Who the F is going to finish the drywall if we don’t bring In immigrants? After I retired I started a business building spec homes and flipping houses… My first spec I ended up hanging and finishing the entire house myself. And I was willing to pay $25 an hour for any help at all… Hanging wasn’t too bad, but finishing a 1600 sq ft, 3 BR 2 BA, with a 2 car garage as a M’er F’er… All the DW contractors I knew were booked for six months or more, and of the locals I hired, one left for lunch on his first day and never came back (poosy) and another guy with some experience called the night before telling me a story about court, probation officers, and meth. I would venture a guess that there isn’t a single person reading who ever encouraged their kid to persue a career as a construction laborer… We need labor. Let’s get ‘em in here legally and easily, tax the heck out of them, and move forward.
