I listened to one this morning called: The Lawfare Podcast: What Disqualifying Trump from the 2024 Ballot Would Mean for American Politics and Democracy The podcast is from a conference on the implications of Section 3 disqualification held at the University of Minnesota Law School. This podcast one of the panels. I’m left with these thoughts: 71 million people want to vote for Trump and they have the right to do that. Section 3 disqualification should be used only if we were under threat of civil war. Trump and Trumpism are an immediate threat to American democracy and needs to be voted into oblivion.

Are you aware of how long those other three went on for? Did Hill and Al try to fund raise on those claims? Did they base a new campaign on debunked claims? I have no issue with being critical of the three occurrences you mention, but comparing them with Trumps wild claims and outright lies is disingenuous.

Trump is not the only politician whose words should be taken literally, but he is the subject of this thread.
