Colorado Trial to Disqualify Trump from the Ballot
Dozer FBG replied to Engorgeous George's topic in The Geek Club
I disagree. In fact, when Trump makes his baseless claims of a stolen election, it is he that is trying to overturn a free and fair election that he lost. That is fundamentally anti-democracy. All in my opinion, of course. -
Colorado Trial to Disqualify Trump from the Ballot
Dozer FBG replied to Engorgeous George's topic in The Geek Club
It’s important to remember that there is no crime statute, or what ever that is simply called “insurrection.” Its also important to remember that Trump has been charged with 91 felonies, many having to do with his role in the baloney sandwich that occurred on J6. I doubt anything will come of the Colorado case, but it’s pretty clear that, whatever you want to call what happened on J6, it was Trumps fault. It’s this part that makes me wonder: ”…shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same,…” I think everyone could agree that J6 was rebellious. but, like always, he’ll skate. -
I feel about the same as when I see the Trump version of this… How can anyone feel so strongly about anything to F-up their vehicle like that…. Just looks stupid, Libitard or trumpanzee.

Scott MacFarlane reports: Donald Trump's defense files 27-page argument to further its argument that the 2020 election conspiracy case should be dismissed because of "Presidential immunity" It's a winding argument referencing George W Bush, Alexander Hamilton, Nixon & the Federalist papers. Trump motion: "George W Bush’s critics widely accused him of lying to Congress to induce the Iraq War on false allegedly pretenses by claiming that Saddam Hussein’s regime in Iraq was hoarding stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction which turned out to be non-existent" 'Pres. Nixon was widely accused of criminal obstruction of justice for the exercise of his official duties in the so-called “Saturday Night Massacre,” when he ordered three subsequent Attorneys General to fire the Watergate Special Prosecutor" "In the 1824 election, Andrew Jackson’s supporters accused President John Quincy Adams of effecting a “corrupt bargain” with Henry Clay by appointing him Secretary of State in exchange for using his influence as Speaker of the House to deliver the election" Still scheduled for trial on March 4.

Sure, I’ll expand on it. In his book Meadows says : “The election was "stolen" and "rigged" with help from "allies in the liberal media," who ignored "actual evidence of fraud, right there in plain sight for anyone to access and analyze." But then when he speaks to Jack Smith’s investigators: That-- to this day -- he has yet to see any evidence of fraud that would have kept now-president Joe Biden from the White House, and he told them he agrees with a government assessment at the time that the 2020 presidential election was the most secure election in U.S. history. I’m sorry I missed your methodology discussion. If you link it I’ll check it out. My guess is you have more systems experience than Mark Meadows. And if you have a problem with the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, take it up with Fani Willis.

Yeah, and I wore a hand woven stocking cap, held drum circles when taking attendance, and I rainbow tie-dyed an American flag and hung it upside down next to the overhead projector. You focking judgmental prix. Once again your world view is made up bullshirt based on a right wing fever dream. I was a high school shop teacher, for the record. Some traditional woodworking classes, lots of drafting, electricity/electronics, then the more modern applied science stuff, automation, etc. I was dam good and worked my ass off for my students. Three years as an administrator too… I have a much different perspective than most of you bomb throwers around here… Retired long before Covid and all the Trumpism bullshirt. -

No Jon. They a getting reduced or dropped charges in return for their testimony. That’s how RICO case work. The case you are trying to make doesn’t make any sense.

Light reading for our local sedition caucus: True the Vote Voter Intimidation Case Goes to Trial in Georgia From Sidney Powell, Kenneth Chesebro and Jenna Ellis’s plea deals, John Eastman’s possible disbarmentand two pending election subversion indictments amounting to 17 counts against former President Donald Trump, courts are slowly starting to hold Republican “Big Lie” architects accountable for their dangerous attempts to subvert democracy. But there are others who need to be held accountable as well: those who instilled doubt in our electoral process and those who attempted to interfere with voters’ right to vote. “True the Vote launched the largest mass voter challenge in Georgia history.”
