Caleb Williams draft profile: Current Draft Projection and Summary Williams is an immensely gifted playmaker. He’ll enter the NFL as one of the premier arm talents and creators at quarterback on Day 1. His ability to devastate the will of defenses after evading pressure is reminiscent of peak Josh Allen, and his arm elasticity is in the same realm. They have the #1 pick? What cards? They don't have cards until they announce Fields is staying. If Fields was their QB they'd say "Justin Fields is our guy, we are not drafting a QB". I guarantee you The Bears are drafting a QB at 1. It's painfully obvious.

Dak took a big step forward this season and Hurts took a huge step back this season. Hurts really regressed, he looked lost as the season went on.

Perhaps, they'll definitely get a haul for that pick, especially this year. After all their QB issues, I just can't see them passing up the highest rated available.

I like Howell as well but not that much. They're within striking distance of a QB. I think they need to take a shot there and I think that's what they'll ultimately do. Howell is still very young and under Team control. It wouldn't be the worst thing to have 2 young QBs battling it out. They can always trade one down the road.
